Senator Hawley is the first Republican senator to release a statement on his intentions to decertify the fraudulent election results.

3 years agoOk, Sen. Hawley objects. That’s nice. Then Congress holds series of debates and votes on whether or not to certify each contested state’s Electoral College votes. The solons just bidin’ their time until Joe takes office vote on each challenge and prevail. While it holds Democrats’ feet to the fire over the election fraud, which is good, it doesn’t change the result in the slightest.
I hold a very slight hope that Pence will pull a rabbit out of his hat on Jan 6, but I think it’s a long shot. An even longer shot is that SCOTUS would take this election challenge seriously.
While Hawley’s announcement is a positive development, and I admire his willingness to buck the system (it may well cost him politically), if the goal is to stop Biden, I don’t see it as anything to get excited about. I would be delighted to be proven wrong.

What an utter dead loss the almost entire GOP is proving! Cowardly, convictionless and unprincipled. I could be describing the entire Democratic Party of liars, cheats and traitors.
