Missouri, Kentucky AGs Join Lawsuit Challenging Pennsylvania Mail-In Ballot Deadline Extension

Daniel Cameron joins Republican AGs in challenging Pennsylvania mail-in ballots

Two days after former Vice President Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election, Kentucky’s attorney general will join other Republican AGs Monday in taking “major legal action” in the case challenging Pennsylvania’s mail-in ballots.

A Sunday media advisory, which mentioned Daniel Cameron’s involvement, did not specify what action is being taken. But it’s presumed a lawsuit will be filed related to the mail-in ballots in the state that gave Biden the electoral college win over President Donald Trump.

The Philadelphia Inquirer Sunday evening reported Trump’s legal team will contest Biden’s win, starting with a federal suit to be filed Monday alleging that the commonwealth’s two largest cities — Philadelphia and Pittsburgh — were awash in vote fraud.

Cameron, a political protege of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, was elected as Kentucky’s top law enforcement officer in November 2019. He and attorneys general of Louisiana, Georgia and Missouri, will hold a virtual press conference at 2:30 p.m. Monday to announce their plans.

“The Republican AGs are already stepping up to the frontlines as ‘America’s insurance policy’ against the possibility of a Biden-Harris Administration and their liberal extremist agenda,” the advisory stated.

Pennsylvania is one of a few states which did not begin processing and counting absentee ballots until Election Day morning. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in October election officials in Pennsylvania can count absentee ballots received as late as three days after Election Day as long as they were postmarked by Nov. 3.

Likewise, Kentucky’s general election rules allow absentee ballots postmarked by Election Day to be counted as long as they are received within the next three days. Cameron has not challenged Kentucky’s rules.

On Friday night, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, who handles emergency appeals from Pennsylvania, ordered the state’s county elections officials to keep separate mail-in ballots that arrived after Election Day.

Before Alito’s decision, the state’s top elections official had ordered those ballots be kept apart. But Alito acted after the state Republican Party said they couldn’t be sure election officials are complying with guidance, which was issued by Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, a Democrat.

The order is related to an ongoing Republican appeal to the Supreme Court to try to keep ballots received in the mail after Election Day from being counted. The state’s top court granted a three-day extension, and the Supreme Court refused to block it.

Trump Makes Move In Georgia, Taps Doug Collins To Lead Recount Team For POTUS

President Trump made his move and picked Georgia Rep Doug Collins to lead his recount team in the critical state of Georgia. Look, Trump faces an uphill battle because they have to hope the recounts (usually only a few 100 votes are affected) can flip multiple states. Anything is possible but it is a longshot.

“Republicans stand by the ideal that every eligible voter should be able to vote legally and have it be counted,” Collins said.

“During the coming recount, we are confident we will find evidence of improperly harvested ballots and other irregularities that will prove that President Trump won Georgia fairly again on his way to re-election as President. Georgians deserve a free and open process, and they will get one.”

They better do more than just recount. The votes need to be verified. Criminal investigations need to happen. Vote fraudsters need to receive serious penalties. Quotes: “they have to hope the recounts (usually only a few 100 votes are affected) can flip multiple states” & “longshot”. No, clearly TRUMP WON based on the rallies & parades alone. This year, we demand an honest election and changes to ensure honest elections in the future.

I will go you one better, prof: The entire election process, with its reliance on mail-in ballots, was riddled with fraud. I agree, recounts are insufficient. If America is serious about the integrity of the election there needs to be a re-vote in many jurisdictions. If we are not serious about the integrity of the electoral process, then we no longer have a functioning democracy.

Barry Nussbaum had a fairly good discussion along these lines here:

Recount and verify and do it now before the evidence is destroyed.

Much of the evidence has already been destroyed. The ballots arrive at the polling place in an envelope with the SIGNATURE of the voter on the outside. They open the envelopes, then TOSS the outside one with the signature, then go from there. So those signatures are LOST and cannot be compared to the signature of the real voter.

My question is, when will the Missouri AG demand that the ridiculous mask mandates in this State cease?
When will the AG uphold his SWORN OATH and the Constitution?
