San Francisco Tech CEO Emails 10 Million Customers Urging Them To Vote For Biden

By Tyler Burden, Zero Hedge, October 24, 2020:

Story continues below advertisement

Offering yet another reminder of just how far-removed the hysterical hyper-liberalism of San Francisco and the Bay Area is from the normal American political baseline, the CEO of Expensify, one of the world’s largest providers of expense account software, recently emailed all 10 million users of the firms’ software pleading with them to vote for Vice President Joe Biden.

According to Bloomberg, the idea elicited “strong debate” within the company, which is based in San Francisco, with some employees disagreeing with the gesture. But CEO David Barrett, the driving force behind the message, said he decided to press ahead and hit ‘send’.

At one point in the email, Barrett wrote that “anything less than a vote for Biden is a vote against democracy,” and that if President Trump were reelected, Barrett wrote, it would “damage our democracy to such an extent, I’m obligated on behalf of shareholders to take any action I can to avoid it.”

Barrett tried to justify the email by telling Bloomberg that a Trump victory could stoke civil unrest, which would in turn be “bad for business,” because “not many expense reports get filed during a civil war.”

Political activism in the workplace has become a major issue in Silicon Valley, particularly since the CEO of Coinbase offered employees a buyout if they disagreed with a new companywide rule discouraging any kind of heated political debate or activity within the office. Barrett said he was inspired to speak up by Armstrong’s “cowardly” decision.

“All evil needs is for good people to stand aside,” Barrett said. “Not standing for anything means you’re standing for the status quo.”

Earlier this year, Expensify blacked out out its homepage in a show of support for BLM. Many customers backed the gesture, Barrett said, though others did threaten to take their business elsewhere. “Some people do leave,” he said. “Most don’t.”

While the latest display of Bay Area paternalism might have not have been aggravating enough to send customers elsewhere, we suspect more than a few Expensify users got a good chuckle out of Barrett’s insistence that voting for anybody but his preferred candidate would contribute to the death of Democracy.

EXCLUSIVE SOURCE: Biden Daughter Ashley Diary Details ‘Not Appropriate’ Showers With Joe Biden As A Child
“Was I molested. I think so.”

https://nationalfile.com/exclusive-source-biden-daughters-diary-details-not-appropriate-showers-with-joe-as-child/

National File has obtained what a whistle-blower has identified as a copy of the complete diary of Ashley Blazer Biden, the 39-year-old daughter of Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, dating from during the 2020 presidential campaign. National File also knows the reported precise location of the physical diary, and has been told by a whistle-blower that there exists an audio recording of Ashley Biden admitting this is her diary.
In the diary, which our source says belongs to the former vice president’s daughter, the author writes of her struggle with drug abuse. Ashley Biden’s struggle with drugs was widely publicized in 2009. According to our source, the diary also details Ashley Biden’s unhealthy relationship with sex, and the “probably not appropriate” showers she shared as a young girl with her father, Joe Biden.
After declaring she was “here for sexual trauma” in the previous entry, on page 23 of the diary, dated January 30, 2019, the author explores the topic of sexual abuse and how it may have led to her overactive sex drive. “I’ve had one of my hardest days – my sex drive is out of f**king control. Like literally, I am in heat,” wrote the author.

Ashley is not to blame, Joe Biden is to blame. No adult should shower with his post-toddler kids. It’s not necessary, and inappropriate.
Sexually abused kids sometimes become hyper-sexualized as adults. This is a hyper-seuxualized family, enabled and encouraged by Joe Biden.

Morning Felix: Yes, if/when Biden passes, or just becomes incapacitated, Jill will probably find another hook-up of some sort.

Jill covers well. She presents as shiny happy person, but as one bio says,

“The former second lady, or, as she put it, ‘Captain of the Vice Squad,’ grew up in South Jersey and later Montgomery County…”
And she got that nick-name by various disruptive and ant-social activities in her youth. You know New Jersey neighborhoods, but the implication is that her upbringing was rough.

All we know now, is that Jill has a high reproductive drive, and she has not objected to pedophilia going on around her.

Group Headed by Biden’s Daughter Ashley Got Grant While He Was VP
https://nlpc.org/2020/01/29/group-headed-by-bidens-daughter-got-grant-while-he-was-veep/
A Delaware nonprofit organization received a $166,000 federal grant about the same time it appointed then-Vice President Joe Biden’s daughter as executive director, according to government and tax records.

In September 2014, the Delaware Center for Justice was selected for a competitive two-year grant by the U.S. Department of Justice through the federal Edward Byrne Memorial grant program — which Joe Biden helped steer significant funding to as vice president and senator.

No these people are not over sexed. It’s called NO RESTRAINT! The more they get away with the more enboldened they are and the worse they get. Call it perverted success that builds on each encounter.

Some can get past it and some don’t. Some become promiscious. Others turn to drugs or same sex relationships because of being betrayed by the opposite sex. Drugs and alcohol abuse, are often used as a crutch to forget and push it away. Some combine it all.

I know of someone that has a father that did this…after the fact. Later in life she took a very wrong turn because of that….

The majority of LBGTQ+ is about SEXUAL ABUSE! Emotional abuse, physical abuse or a lack of a proper role model are other attributes. Now they teach LBGTQ+ as normal to little kids….and shun a normal traditional nuclear family…..

What puzzles me is, genuine abuse victims often go on to abuse OTHERS in the same way or worse. Is it anger? I don’t know. Others have empathy and try to help others who have been abused. Which ever way it goes, it is a tragedy for the person but I can’t ever condone LBGTQ+ regardless of the circumstance.

Felix: Well, you said a lot there, and I can’t reply to it all on one comment..
—-
But this I can briefly respond to this : “No these people are not over sexed. It’s called NO RESTRAINT!”
—-
It’s both. There is a bell curve that describes human reproductive interest. Men have their own bell curve, higher than women. One reason for human differences, is free circulating testosterone levels, about 5 to 10 times higher for men than women, but still on bell curves.

Genetics, fetal changes, and early experience make huge differences. Example: NHL players show the power of early experience. They grow up loving hockey, playing it every chance they get, practicing and practicing, thinking hockey, and talking hockey, for many years, starting as kids. So when we see them playing in the NHL, there is a huge history there, for all of them.

That also apples to other sports, and also to people with high reproductive interest and activity. They had the genes for it, and they got interested in it, and they practiced a lot. So some kids become that way with reproductive activity. Genes are important, and the testosterone levels in the womb also make a difference. Social leaning also makes a big difference.
Many sex trade workers were raised in high reproductive activity environments. And most also have high testosterone levels.

BUT while professional sports can be rewarding and profitable, in contrast, high reproductive activity is usually very self- damaging. The Bible is completely right about that. High rates of substance abuse, quitting school, poor employment histories, suicide, divorce, and low lifetime earnings are common problems in high sex-drive individuals. We see that in the Biden family, and they rely a lot on crooked business deals to make money.

And you are RIGHT, with no restraint, those high sex-drive behaviors get much worse. Furthermore, high sex drive people LOOK for low restraint situations, because that is what they want.

Andrew: Yes, and both also have problems with hyper-sexuality. Furthermore, their boyfriends, girlfriends, and spouses also have similar problems. The Hunter video, just released last night, shows him doing it with an under-aged black girl.

And at least seven different kids in those pedophilia videos and pics show the children of other families that are known to the Biden family. Etc.
But don’t try to look a those materials. They are way to upsetting for the average person to view. Text descriptions are bad enough.

Combox posts should be short and pithy … especially if they’re meant to be persuasive.

… It’s also a good idea to choose words and phrases that will be immediately understood by the audience without requiring a definition or redefinition.

… Introducing a new term for the purposes of clarification or changing the existing term should be done in a longer blog post rather than on a combox post where the author must make his point using existing terms.

I’m not against your idea, and I would entertain the idea if I had the time and interest, but …

… I’m using terms my readers understand.

I also have several similar peeves – ‘creative destruction’ – ‘McCarthyism’ – ‘Climate Change’ (I always use AGW for that – but …

… I have neither the time nor the energy to shift the balance on ‘crony capitalism’ – and I intend to continue using it until a comparable term appears. I have – due to being ticked off – used the term ‘natzee’ more often over the last several months – but that term is overused, and I probably should not be using it.

Terms such as ‘fascist’ – ‘statist’ – and ‘collectivist’ – share the same problem as ‘natzee’ carrying with them a connotation of disdain for the target without consideration for his actions or ideology.

Indeed, these words already carry significant Leftist baggage.

In common parlance, which is to say any site other than a specific right-wing site, the term ‘fascist’ in now literally means “right-wing.” Only at sites such as this – Geller, e.g. – does the term ‘fascist’ have any relationship to its original meaning. The other two are routinely dismissed as ‘right-wing’ terms, which are sufficient in and of themselves to dismiss any and all viewpoints of the person using the terms.

As for the rest of your argument with me … it’s not short or pithy … it’s just tedious.

Every single person who might remotely agree with my original post understood the term ‘crony capitalism’ … and that includes you. Mr. David Barrett is engaged in commercial enterprise, but he uses the success of his enterprise to attack the body politic of the United States of America – and to promote a corrupt politician who enriched himself at the expense of the nation he was supposed to serve …

… it is therefore reasonable to infer that Mr. David Barrett is also a corrupt individual whose wealth and ensuing power are due more to some backroom deals more than to any entrepreneurial activity or market-based merit.

I’m old enough to remember – and work for – men who earned great wealth through hard work and merit – and not one of them would support Joe Biden. It’s possible Mr. David Barrett is just young and naive, but it’s more reasonable to assume he’s just another crony who owes his success to a crooked deal.

… the term ‘crony capitalist’ said all of that in one term of just two words. Whereas the explanation – to you required nearly 500 words.

… all to cover to cover basic concepts virtually everyone willing to read any of my posts already understand – including you.

… i.e. it’s a waste of time.

Again, I respect your opinion, and I don’t entirely disagree, but I’m not going on a crusade to change the way we use language.

Biden Campaign Breaks Record for Most Money Spent on Television Ads
By Amy Furr
10/25/20

“Biden’s campaign has spent more than $582 million on television advertising since launching his campaign last year, according to data from the nonpartisan firm Advertising Analytics. In just the last week, Biden’s team spent $45 million on air,” the article said.

The amount surpasses President Donald Trump’s campaign, which reportedly spent $342 million over the past two years.

The Biden campaign is investing financial resources in an attempt to win over Americans of faith at the same time the Democrat Party has embraced the radical position of access to abortion at any time during pregnancy; an insistence it has no room for pro-life individuals or candidates; a stated intention to provide full taxpayer funding for abortion industry giant Planned Parenthood; and an announced plan to force taxpayers to fund abortions.

Off topic –
The Epoch Times is one of the FEW papers that is honest and tells the truth, so what does the hopelessly CORRUPT NYT do ? Investigates them! The NYT lies, takes quotes out of context, injects obvious personal bias, smears them and protects China trying as thet try to take them down as a competing news outlet.

New York Times’ 8-Month-Long ‘Investigation’
of The Epoch Times:
Light on Facts, Heavy on Bias

By the Epoch Times, 10/25/20

The New York Times on Oct. 24 published an article by tech columnist Kevin Roose about The Epoch Times. The article was published on the front page of the NY Times’ Sunday edition on Oct. 25.

Roose worked on this article about The Epoch Times for at least eight months. The result, however, is disappointing. Instead of attempting to give a fair portrayal of The Epoch Times as an up-and-coming media outlet, Roose resorts to factual errors, innuendo, and misrepresentations in an attempt to smear a competing media outlet.

Protects and ignores China abuses and news manipulation …

Downplaying China’s Human Rights Abuses

In his article, Roose seeks to downplay the ongoing persecution of the spiritual discipline Falun Gong in China. The persecution has been extensively documented by human rights groups as well as government bodies such as the U.S. State Department. Instead of citing any of this publicly available information, Roose seeks to diminish these human rights abuses.

Roose also ignores a large body of evidence showing that the CCP kills prisoners of conscience, especially Falun Gong practitioners, for their organs, and instead describes it as an “accusation.”

This plays right into the hands of the CCP, which for years has worked to influence American media outlets.

Articles like this are extremely valuable for the CCP, as it can use them for its internal propaganda efforts to justify its ongoing persecution campaigns. The NY Times itself translated a previous article about The Epoch Times by Roose into Chinese.

China is a far bigger threat than ISLAM! Islam is just a useful tool for the moment. If we go Communist, we won’t have to worry about Islam….Muslims are too dumb to take us over. The Communist Chinese are not dumb….They know what they are doing and having success manipulating us and taking us over till Trump came along. Just remember that….

It’s a very good paper – Check it out!

NO, IT’S NOT!

I’m Buddhist.
We Buddhists believe in the supernatural but not a Creator-God.
The day after Obamas election the lottery in his home town Chicago drew 666.
That’s proof he’s the Antichrist.

For Buddhists and Christians alike, Obama’s the Antichrist.

We have our Buddhist Kalachakra end times prophecy.

Atheist Materialism doesn’t have explanations for a thing. It’s unscientific. Buddhism is purely scientific.

Hmmm, claiming Einstein as an atheist seems dishonest.

“I am not an Atheist. I do not know if I can define myself as a
Pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds… The
child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books
but doesn’t know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of
even the most intelligent human being toward God.”

I notice you ignore Isaac Newton, who not only discovered one of the fundamental forces of the universe, proved Kepler’s laws of planetary motion (by using calculus), co-invented calculus and may have invented differential calculus all on his own. When one of you atheists can match his talents then you may bray all you want.

Remdesivir Gets FDA Approval, but WHO Says Drug Ineffective for COVID
By: Jeremy Loffredo
As far back as April, U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Dr. Anthony Fauci was touting Gilead’s antiviral remdesivir as “the standard of care for patients with COVID-19.”

Remdesivir is the only antiviral authorized in the U.S. to treat COVID and is also authorized for use in roughly 50 countries. Yet the drug has absolutely no effect on a COVID patient’s chances of survival, according to recent data from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Starting in March 2020, WHO’s Solidarity Trial followed 11,266 adults in 30 countries to study the effects on COVID of four antivirals: remdesivir, hydroxychloroquine, lopinavir, and interferon. On Oct. 15, WHO reported that remdesivir not only failed to produce any measurable benefit in terms of mortality reduction, but that it also didn’t reduce the need for ventilators, or the length of hospital stays.

After WHO issued its report, remdesivir’s manufacturer, Gilead, was quick to point out that the Solidarity Trial hasn’t been peer reviewed or published in a scholarly journal. In a statement, the company said: “It is unclear if any conclusive findings can be drawn from the study results.”

Gilead also called attention to an earlier trial by the NIAID, which showed remdesivir to reduce the duration of one’s hospital stay from 15 days to 10 days (median). Yet while this study was ongoing, NIAID researchers changed the study’s primary outcome from mortality to recovery length.

Still, citing the “promising results” of this NIAID study, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in May issued an emergency use authorization to Gilead for remdesivir. This allowed remdesivir to be distributed throughout the country without formal FDA approval.

Gilead is now marketing remdesivir under the brand name Veklury, which was recently projected to generate $3 billion in sales for the drugmaker in the upcoming year. Numerous governments already pre-ordered the drug in July, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) purchased 500,000 treatment courses.

U.S. taxpayers covered some of the research and development costs for Veklury, to the tune of $70.5 million.

On Oct. 1, the FDA revised the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for Veklury, withdrawing government responsibility for the drug’s allocation, leaving Gilead responsible for its distribution and U.S. hospitals responsible for its purchase.

But the cost of the drug hasn’t changed in the transition from government allocation to commercial sales. Medicare does not reimburse directly for remdesivir, and one five-day treatment course costs more than $3,000 for U.S. patients with private insurance and more than $2,000 for government purchasers like the Department of Veterans Affairs.

This high price stands in stark contrast to that of another antiviral, hydroxychloroquine, which costs 30 cents a pill. Hydroxychloroquine, FDA-approved since 1955, is far safer than most popular over-the-counter drugs like Tylenol and aspirin. Physicians can prescribe it for any off-label use and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention deems the drug safe for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children, elderly patients, immunocompromised patients and healthy persons of all ages.

Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, dozens of new studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine and its first cousin, chloroquine, against COVID. These studies occurred in China, France, Saudi Arabia, Italy, India, New York and Michigan. However, such proof of hydroxychloroquine’s benefit to patients with COVID has posed an existential threat to Gilead sales throughout the COVID outbreak.

Under federal law, new treatments do not qualify for emergency use authorization if an FDA-approved treatment exists for the same disease. If hydroxychloroquine had been shown to be effective in COVID patients, Gilead, along with other companies making therapeutics and vaccines for COVID, could not have been granted EUA. The companies would have had to complete standard safety testing and await FDA approval — meaning less profits, longer runways to market, and an end to the lucrative COVID vaccine gold rush.

As Dr. James Todaro wrote in OmniJournal, “Perhaps no other company has more to gain in the immediate future from hydroxychloroquine’s failure than Gilead.”

In June, French epidemiologist Didier Raoult testified to the French Parliament that after being vocal about the possibility that hydroxychloroquine could reduce mortality for COVID patients, he began to receive death threats from a scientist working for Gilead. Raoult and his team in Marseille have used hydroxychloroquine on more than 4,000 patients, reporting a mortality rate of about 0.8%.

I repeat for the 1000th time. We have a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a Democracy. Some people on both sides of the aisles keep pounding the word democracy into the heads of the public. They know the power of memes.

If a Republican or Independent business owner told his employees that they must cast their vote for his choice all hell would break loose and stay loose for years. You would hear of nothing else. It wouldn’t matter if he/she had 5 employees or five hundred. Besides, I think what the CEO of Expensify demanded of his employees violates federal law.

Also trump brought economy back while firms will close with Biden Presidency. The guy using basic left wing scare tactics. Americans should call him out and nit buy his software.
Plus another San Francisco rat in a sinking state.

I pray that Barrett is correct and that every vote for Trump IS a “vote against democracy”.
Apparently Barrett is not as “smart” as he seems to think he is – after all, our Founders were against a “democracy” and determined to give us, all, a Republican form of government.
Just ask Mr. Franklin, once again, what it is they had given us ….. he replied, “a Republic, if you can keep it”.
The Left, and Barrett, have done their level best to destroy this Republic – I Pray God that they fail.
If the Left does manage to steal this election, the Republic fails, the Constitution is undone, and the Nation is lost.
What they don’t seem to realize is that the ONLY AUTHORITY FOR THE EXISTENCE OF THIS NATION, is the Constitution – if the Constitution fails, so does Rule of Law, and they, THEY HAVE NO MORE AUTHORITY than “they” can FORCE FROM THE BARREL OF A GUN – and like WILL be met with like.
I swear to God.
