Saeb Erekat, the secretary-general of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Executive Committee, insisted upon going to an Israeli hospital. “Palestinian” politician Saeb Erakat dies of coronavirus in Israel’s Hadassah hospital.
The top “Palestinian’ official had urged Arab states that have decided to participate in the US-led economic peace deal against it. The Palis feared their terror funding was all but disappearing.
Senior Palestinian Liberation Organization official Saeb Erekat, who was recently diagnosed with COVID-19, was hospitalized Sunday in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

“Because of the chronic health problems in Erekat’s respiratory system, he is being transferred to a hospital in [Israel], because his condition requires special medical attention and supervision,” the PLO Negotiation Affairs department.
Erekat, 65, was considered to be at high risk for complications from the virus. He survived both a mild heart attack in 2012 and a 2017 lung transplant after years of suffering from pulmonary fibrosis, a condition that scars the lungs and damages their ability to circulate oxygen.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Hadassah said that Erekat was brought to the hospital in serious condition and required oxygen. Erekat, who is being treated in the hospital’s coronavirus ward, remains in “serious but stable condition,” according to Hadassah.
The Palestinian Authority requested from Israel that Erekat receive immediate medical care.
Magen David Adom paramedics, escorted by IDF soldiers, arrived at Erekat’s West Bank home on Sunday afternoon to take him to Jerusalem, according to Channel 12 news.
PA leader chooses Israeli hospital for HIS Coronavirus treatment after saying Israel intentionally spreads the virus to kill Palestinians

Israeli sources reported this afternoon and Palestinian sources confirmed that Erekat, who was reported sick last week, is now having trouble breathing and is being moved to the Israeli hospital.
Palestinian Media Watch has reported that while Israel has been giving significant medical training and other aid to the Palestinian population to fight the coronavirus, the PA has been using the pandemic outbreak to spread the libel that Israel is intentionally infecting Palestinians with the virus and trying to kill them.
Saeb Erekat went even further when he joined this chorus of hate, penning an op-ed in which he libeled Israelis, claiming they are ”spitting on Palestinian cars and property in order to transfer the Corona disease” to fulfill ”the wild desire to get rid of the Palestinian people in any way.” [Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 30, 2020]
If Erekat really believed his own libel that Israelis ”have the wild desire to get rid of the Palestinian people,” he certainly would not have chosen Hadassah Hospital to treat him and try to save his life.
This contradiction documents once again that the PA leadership is consciously lying when it demonizes Israel to its population with sole purpose of creating hatred toward Israelis and Jews.

“When the settler gangs go wild, the latest example of which is… the spitting on Palestinian cars and property in order to transfer the Corona disease to them; and when they prevent the entry of more than 140 food products, disinfectants, and cleaners for the Palestinian prisoners numbering over 5,000, and this is under these extraordinary circumstances in light of the Coronavirus; and when they refuse to release hundreds of sick prisoners, including elderly, administrative detainees, children, and women – all of these are expressions of the spirit of hate taking root, the spread of the incitement to racism, and the wild desire to get rid of the Palestinian people in any way…
Palestine is between two epidemics today: At a time when our entire people is dealing with the Coronavirus and fighting to get rid of this epidemic in order to save lives… it is dealing with the colonialist occupation epidemic with the same determination.”

Yes, there is irony, but he’s not going to run to a Palestinian morgue. Plenty of Palestinians go to Jewish hospitals. The irony is that the Jews help save people who want them dead and refuse to acknowledge their right(Israel’s right) to exist.

Muslims in the middle east are not capable of giving him up to date treatment. Instead they recommend smoking female donkey dung, drinking camel urine or loogies from Imam spittle.
It always amazes me how Israelis take in their enemies, and treat them in their hospitals with the same care they would extend to fellow Jews. They know when released they will still be hated by them.

Actually, I think that Israel should continue to treat their neighbors – as despicable as so many of them are. Israel and the Jews are much higher on the evolutionary scale their their evil, pathetic jihadi neighbors. Besides, they are acting in the name of God and what is right and just to do. Bottom line: The poor, misguided Islamists will NOT be rewarded with 72 virgins, but with the fires of Hell!! Israelis, however, who follow in the steps and path of righteousness, shall be rewarded with God’s blessings in Heaven!

why didn’t he go to lebanon, syria, turkey for help? that would have made more sense to coincide with his beliefs.
After all, with all of the countries around him he chose the only country that is Jewish. Why? Because he knows his brotherhood nations are in the dark ages when it comes to innovation and medical care.

If he’s dead, I’m extremely happy about it. However, I’m not happy that he died in an Israeli hospital.
This will lead to more lies, threats, accusations, murders, bombings, and the all round f**kery that the fakestinians always rely on, and there are enough Jew-hating scumbags in the rest of the world who will publicise it as such in the rest of the world, like the bbc, and not a few politicians, like corbyn and his brownshirts here, dhimms in America, and ‘activists’ like the blm leadership, for example.
Israel has to know that you do yourself no favours by keeping, or trying to keep, your enemies alive, especially in your own land.
Better to sit back with the popcorn and watch them die.
I would never have allowed this garbage into Israel at all, never mind giving him the best treatment in the world in a hospital there. I don’t understand their logic.
