By 11:30AM, inspectors from the NYC Department of Buildings had already visited nearly two dozen Mosdos Hatorah.
Initial reports state that inspectors are asking to enter the buildings, and if denied, they are given a summons for a court appearance in a few months along with a $15,000 fine.
Highly credible sources tell YWN that the inspectors were provided a list from the State that has the names and addresses of every single Yeshiva, and were hoping to visit each one today.
YWN had no information if any Yeshivas were even open.

Situated on the other-side of America, I was in the dark until informed by this web-site, over how unmolested N.Y.C. we have to get out of here. now. the orthodox must move whatever funds they have to Israel today. brokers can sell their homes. every person in the community must be out of here and supported if necessary to do so. if we can airlift yemenites and ethiopians and free soviet Jews we can do this. otherwise, the Jewish community is in a fatal trap. new york city and state is gone. whatever our past history it is just history. it’s over. staying around just puts us in harm’s way. it will not get better.
