Sen. Bernie Sanders Calls For Police Responsible For ‘Murdering’ Walter Wallace Jr. To Be Prosecuted By Justice Department

Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said Wednesday on Twitter that the police “responsible for murdering” Walter Wallace Jr. in Philadelphia should be “arrested, investigated, and prosecuted by the Justice Department.”
Walter Wallace should be alive today, and our thoughts are with his loved ones. The police responsible for murdering him in front of his mother instead of getting him the medical attention he needed should be arrested, investigated, and prosecuted by the Justice Department.

“Walter Wallace should be alive today, and our thoughts are with his loved ones,” Sanders said in the tweet. “The police responsible for murdering him in front of his mother instead of getting him the medical attention he needed should be arrested, investigated, and prosecuted by the Justice Department.”
Wallace, 27, was killed by police after officers responded Monday to a report of a man with a weapon. When they arrived at the scene, they encountered a man with a knife who was told repeatedly to drop the knife, according to police. The man didn’t follow calls to drop the knife, and police opened fire, shooting him multiple times.
Wallace’s family says he had mental health issues. He had bipolar disorder and was in crisis during the time of the shooting, his family said according to CNN.
Relatives had reportedly called authorities multiple times throughout the day to ask for an ambulance, but the police arrived first, the Wallace family’s attorney, Shaka Johnson, said according to CNN. It’s unclear how many times police responded to the home.

If he came into true power, he would have a Pretorian (Revolutionary) Guard protecting him. Then the fun will begin. In every Communist Regime there is the constant enemy of the State and in-fighting, Stalin vs Trotsky; Mao vs the Intellectual through students, Kim Jung Un through the Military against anyone, Fidel and Raul against citizens seeking capitalism and democracy or just run away or swim away!
Bernie’s enemies and violence will not end after the election win or lose. His Anti-Americanism, Anti-Capitalism, Anti-Free Markets Fervor and they do it better elsewhere, we’d better surrender to the UN will continue. He’s a crackpot past and present and a dangerous one.

Evidently some people don’t understand the nature of police work. There are certain “standard assumptions” made when police are dispatched to the scene… the first of which is that police have the authority and responsibility to take and maintain control of the situation and the person(s) involved.
Once police are on the scene the use of force continuum is employed to take and maintain control. This is a reactive practice that increases or escalates the force necessary to maintain control based on the amount and type of resistance exhibited by the individual(s) involved… this starts with Officer Presence and can escalate to Verbalization, Empty-Hand Control, Less-Lethal Methods, and/or Lethal Force as dictated by the situation.
The radical-leftist-global-socialist-woketards want to change the way police do their job. They obviously believe the lives of officers are expendable and can thereby be subjected to abuse, assault, or even death at the hands of a perpetrator.

To the Family of Walter Wallace Jr, I’m sorry for your loss. However you must understand that when Wallace started to move towards the police with a weapon and would not drop his weapon as lawfully ordered to do so they shot him in self-defense under Standing Operating Procedures. No health professional is going to approach him while he has a weapon and without the police taking control of the situation.
@BernieSanders @SenatorSanders is a dangerous man and this is on the outside. If he had the power from within the Administration-watch out gulags, reeducation camps, morality laws with criminal consequences.
Police and @FOP I urge you, in view of this Man’s position to defund the police, prosecute every PO who is involved in a death, who disrespects the Justice System; PLEASE, Don’t give him Security Details, Body Guards, Barricade, or Police Escorts! They called for an ambulance? Great. If the ambulance crew got there and found a man with a knife, I am sure protocalls would dictate for them to contact the police. This is the crazy situation that liberals say a social worker should show up to handle. Sorry, but I seriously if there is a social worker anywhere in this country that would take on a man with a knife. Oh sure, they should talk him down. His own family could not talk him down, what would a stranger do?
