William Henry Harrison, out ninth Presidet died in office after serving for 32 days. He swept the Electoral College, 234 to 60. The VP, John Tyler moved up and replaced him. I don’t expect a winner declared on election night. I think it will drag out.
The next official term of the next President starts on January 20th, 2021 at 12 noon. Trump is President till then. If the winner of the election is not resolved by then, I am not sure if Speaker of the House, Piglosi can serve as an interim President till this is worked out between Biden and Trump. God forbid that should happen! She is hinting at that….

invoking the 20th Amendment as the scheme’s foundation.

Über-left Harvard law professor Lawrence Tribe let the cat out of the bag with this tweet.
It could be a repeat of Al Gore’s hanging chad story, with lawsuits and Soros-funded state and county officials unwilling to certify any election results. Democrats have been preparing for this scenario. (You can only hope the STUPID party is also preparing.)
CNN reported, “Joe Biden’s campaign is assembling hundreds of lawyers nationwide to monitor potential voting issues as part of its extensive voter protection efforts heading into the general election.” There will be mass confusion.
Enter Professor Tribe’s prediction. Section 3 of the 20th Amendment.
If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
Or could this be the scenario using the 12h Amendment ?
If the PSA (Presidential Succession Act) may not apply since Pence is on Trump’s ticket. would the 12th Amendment apply in a contested election with all the chaos going on ? Then each each state delegation for the House of Representative gets one vote to choose the President. If a state has more than one Representative, the delegation must choose one representative to represent the state. Congress is dominated by Democrats and I don’t know if that will change. The Senate is dominated by Republicans and who knows who will have the majority in January or if they have any influence.

He has a tell: every single time he’s confronted, he gets super ticked off at whoever dares question his majesty. This is not only very unpresidential, it’s 100% unprofessional. If this is how he plans to lead, everyone he leads is already screwed royally. From the “Divine Right of Kings” to the “Divine Right of Biden” isn’t progress, it’s regress- but y’all already knew that.
