Biden Declares He Would ‘Transition’ America Away from Oil Industry during Debate

Story continues below advertisementPresident Trump and rival Joe Biden sparred over environmental policy at the end of the presidential debate on Thursday, with Biden indicating he would “transition” away from dependence on oil.
“Would he close down the oil industry?” Trump asked. “Would you close down the oil industry?”
“I would transition from the oil industry, yes,” Biden responded.
“It is a big statement, because…the oil industry pollutes, significantly,” Biden responded.
However, the former vice president proceeded to deny that he would ban fracking, despite having promised to do so several times during the Democratic primaries. While Trump pointed out that Biden had said he would ban fracking, Biden asserted that he would ban “fracking on federal land…no fracking and/or oil on federal land.”
Earlier in the debate, Trump mocked Biden’s environmental policies as equivalent to the Green New Deal.Biden’s “plan is an economic disaster,” Trump said. “If you look at what he wants to do, if you look at his environmental plan—you know who developed it? A.O.C. plus three.”

Hi patriot: Yeah you’re right, they will deny, deny, deny. And since Netflix is loaded, they can survive a brief downturn. But for sure they got consequenced.
The bigger issue is exactly what conservatives warned about 10 years ago. Once socialists got done with gay marriage, they would make pedophilia legal, or at least socially acceptable. And that IS happening.

Patriot: Yes things like LGBT are a trivial side issue for the Red-Greens. The greens hate them, and the reds just use LGBT to wreck morality. Communists must wreck morality to weaken a culture, and facilitate its subjugation.
Also, immorality is a key communist selling point.
“Das Kapital” is unbelievably boring, but the appeal of immorality is easy to understand.

Meanwhile, solar and wind are thoroughly feminized – sissy, limp-wristed, effeminate and girly; or in other words, extremely impotent like a very bad case of E.D. The Left’s war on fossil fuels and other “traditional energy” is yet another extension and manifestation of their hatred of anything faintly resembling masculinity. If there’s nothing else to underscore that a vote for Biden would be to vote against America’s best interests, this is it.
It even manifests itself in what names conjure up. “Oil,” for example, sounds like the way a Brooklynite would say a boy’s name, Earl. (Or conversely, said Brooklynite, when going to a service station, would say, “I’ll need another drop of earl.”) But one of the biggest boondoggles which we taxpayers were put on the hook for – “green energy” entity Solyndra – was a crypto-anagram of an exoticized spelling of a girl’s name – Rosalynd.

A real vote winner considering the number of people who work in the oil industry. However more practical would be to stop the subsidies which are outdated and the industry makes trillions of dollars anyway. So why is it subsidised by taxes?
