What If Trump Wins and the Left Rejects the Result?

If you think urban rioting, looting, or “peaceful protesting” is disruptive now, imagine how much worse it may get if President Trump wins a narrow re-election victory.
Story continues below advertisementIn 2016, Trump lost the popular vote by two million or three million but won states and districts worth 306 electoral votes, against Hillary Clinton’s 232. That brought marches and rallies by groups calling themselves the “resistance,” and waving “not my president” signs. It brought years of congressional and special prosecutor investigations and an impeachment vote related to the claim that Russia stole the election for Trump.
Civil rights hero and congressman John Lewis skipped the Trump inauguration, telling NBC, “I don’t see this president-elect as a legitimate president.”
Secretary Clinton proposed abolishing the Electoral College, as did the New York Times. A Times editorial described the Electoral College as a “living symbol of America’s original sin,” that is, “slavery.”
If Mr. Trump repeats 2016 — an electoral vote victory but a popular vote defeat — expect renewed attacks on the legitimacy of the result, along with a new round of attacks on the racist history and effects of the Electoral College. There will be complaints about voter suppression and intimidation. Expect, too, more violence in the streets.
It’s ironic, because for years Democrats have been touting the threat that Trump would somehow cling to the office, refusing to leave the White House even if he is voted out. These articles are a staple of left-wing journalism.
“What If Trump Won’t Leave?” Frances Fox Piven and Deepak Bhargava ask in the Intercept, advising readers to avoid the legal route and instead “take to the streets” with “mass civil disobedience.”
A New Yorker columnist, under the headline, “What Could Happen If Donald Trump Rejects Electoral Defeat?” concludes a best-case scenario is “no orderly handover.” A worst-case scenario? “An explosion of violence.”
This worry about Trump refusing to accept the results if he legitimately loses is conventional wisdom. I’m not aware of any precedent for it in American history, with the possible exception of the election of 1860, when John Breckenridge, who was vice president in the Buchanan administration, ran for president, lost to Abraham Lincoln, and eventually emerged as secretary of war in the Confederacy.
As some polls show Mr. Trump narrowing Biden’s lead or even winning in some battleground states, though, perhaps more people will focus on the parallel risk: the left refusing to accept the election results if Trump legitimately wins.
Relatedly, the left might portray an outcome in which Mr. Trump legitimately wins as somehow illegitimate. Protesters may take to the streets in an effort to force Mr. Trump to step down. If those protests become violent, Mr. Trump may call out federal law enforcement personnel — or even military police — to maintain order. It could end in bloodshed.
That may all seem speculative, but remember, there’s already bloodshed in the streets, and plenty of Democrats already didn’t accept the outcome the last time around.
What may be done to avoid having the outcome of a presidential election determined by “mass civil disobedience” or “an explosion of violence” rather than by the vote itself?
Republicans can help prevent it by trying to avoid doing anything that will be seen as voter suppression. Democratic leaders can prepare to concede if and when it is indeed warranted. Some people faulted the Gore-Lieberman ticket in 2000 for litigating the Florida result as long as they did, but after the Supreme Court ruled in Bush v. Gore, Vice President Gore conceded.
Mr. Gore said in part, ”This is America. Just as we fight hard when the stakes are high, we close ranks and come together when the contest is done. …We will stand together behind our new president.”
In January 2017, Hillary Clinton attended the Trump inauguration rather than skipping it. She deserves credit for showing up, though she later said she “really tried to get out of going.” If Mr. Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris find themselves in a similar situation and display similar public-spirited grace, it will be remembered.
We all can hope that the presidential election is not close, no matter who wins. For all the complaints about the Electoral College, one of its advantages is that it has a “magnifier effect.” Judith Best, in her 2004 Political Science Quarterly article “Presidential Selection: Complex Problems and Simple Solutions,” observed that in 1992, via the Electoral College, “Bill Clinton’s popular plurality of 43 percent was converted into an electoral vote majority of 69 percent.”
Landslides have their own problems. Nixon won a big victory in 1972 but, entangled in the Watergate scandal, did not serve out his second term. Johnson won a big victory in 1964 and, challenged by the Vietnam War, chose not to run again in 1968.
The bigger the win, though, the harder it is to dismiss the winner as illegitimate — and the smaller the chance that the outcome will be dictated by a mob in the streets rather than by the rules in the Constitution.

What If Trump Wins and the Left Rejects the Result?
Well the Democrats will claim that the results were ‘fixed’ and in dispute. Then they will:
✅ Delay the concession of Biden until things are ‘settled’
✅ do recounts of mail-in ballots until January 20, 2021
✅ then install Nancy Pelosi as interim President until the matter is ‘settled’
✅ force Trump to step down as President ‘temporarily’
✅ then suddenly find massive evidence of Trump ‘cheating’
✅ then install Biden as President.
THIS is all according to the Constitution, when election results are not settled by January 20.

This would explain why Hillary strongly advised Biden to NOT concede in November 2020. Because the Democrats have a backup plan. It would also explain why Dems want mail-in voting. Even if they lose the ballot count, the results will be horribly confused, and require long delays. I also explains why the Dems promote the idea that Trump will cheat in the election, and he will refuse to step down if he loses.
In other words, the Democrats appear to have already launched this strategy. Am I being paranoid? Well you decide.

You’re not being paranoid, that is exactly the plan, and it’s what they have been broadcasting for a while now. Trump, however, is not an idiot, and has left them with egg on their faces a few times, and am hoping he has something in mind to do the same to them this time as well.
That being said, I don’t trust the military any farther then I can toss a tank. From Captain up, a large percentage of them are now Democrats, and while they might be brave and do well in the battlefield, they will still kiss the progressive backside. also, you remember when Obama was in office, how he removed a lot of good General Officers that were in key positions and put his sycophants in their place? Well, they are still there, and that has not changed. They were put in the Air Force, the Navy, and the Army, in charge of Nuclear Weapons, as well as high tech facilities, and he (Obama) did that for a reason. Now we know why…
Just a little while back I was reading something about a poll done in the military concerning voting. This poll showed that of all the people that responded (and I don’t remember all the numbers, but this one stuck with me) 43% said they would vote for Biden….That’s a pretty scary thought, but you have to consider that the military is full of young people that recently came out of the indoctrination camps we call schools that are full of bad teaching and have no real concept of America’s true history either. Or the true history of slavery for that matter.
All you have to do is remember how many National Guardsmen had their picture taken while on one knee in support of BLM a while back when they were supposed to be actually GUARDING AGAINST…..well, there you have it.

I don’t see it even being close. Major cities are being hollowed out by rioting. The overwhelming number of Americans do not support the riots. BLM approval is plunging now that it is recognizable as a socialist take-over. Sports are obliterated. People do not want this, now Dems are effectively saying that violence will increase if Biden is not elected. People have already figured out that it will increase anyway. Most Americans are in the lock and load mentality, just waiting for open season to be declared on rioters.

CNN reported, “Joe Biden’s campaign is assembling hundreds of lawyers nationwide to monitor potential voting issues as part of its extensive voter protection efforts heading into the general election.” There will be mass confusion.
Enter Professor Tribe’s prediction. Section 3 of the 20th Amendment.
If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
Or could this be the scenario using the 12h Amendment ?
if the PSA (Presidential Succession Act) may not apply since Pence is on Trump’s ticket. would the 12th Amendment apply in a contested election with all the chaos going on ? Then each each state delegation for the House of Representative gets one vote to choose the President. If a state has more than one Representative, the delegation must choose one representative to represent the state. Congress is dominated by Democrats and I don’t know if that will change. The Senate is dominated by Republicans and who knows who will have the majority in January or if they have any influence.

“Very interesting” – from the good old days of Arte Johnson and Laugh-in. So what are the possible scenarios we are looking at:
1] Given that literally everything is coming to a head – that “they” have thrown all but the kitchen sink into world events, and that their ‘agenda’ is now more exposed than ever – that this ‘exposure’ and the ‘best-before-date’ of some of their projects, has created a ticking clock of sorts (picture a cornered, wounded animal)— the outcome of this election becomes inconsequential and America’s final rendering explodes after the results are out.
2] Given that literally everything is coming to a head – Trump wins hands down and cleans out the entire swamp (no leaven left) – he rebuilds the economy, not Wall Street, not the elite rich – he restores America to her foundations and puts God back into the public square, reversing decades of moral decay and institutional brainwashing. The ‘protesters’ accept defeat and all go home quietly. He defeats the ‘demoralization’ agenda…he defeats the ‘destabilization’ agenda…and he avoids the ‘crisis’ stage.
When ‘they’ persuaded Trump to shut down the economy (as did nation after nation) over this virus scare and to agree to mountains of stimulus (debt), they won. The seeds of economic catastrophe were planted and a ‘bill’ to the people that can never be paid back, was cemented in place. It will become the last tool needed to subdue the people by the surrendering of ownership of all vital financial entities…ultimate financial power – “I care not who makes its laws, let us have control over the nation’s money.”
AND, all this happening against the backdrop of converging biblical prophecy in perfect harmony with the promise of an end, just as we see unfolding in world events everywhere.
What clearer picture can there be that God fully intends to make good on His promise to end this age of man and usher in His earthly reign, just like He said He would.

The ‘day or the hour’ statement by Christ, was never intended though to keep us in the dark and not be mindful of the ‘season’.
In Rev.3:3, He admonishes those who will not watch and says to them, “Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you”. Very similar language to that used in Math.24 where that first ‘day nor hour’ statement is given, but here we see in Rev. the call to be watchful or mindful of God’s unfolding plan…to know His will as expressed through world events as they align with scripture and prophecy.
By the harmony of these events with scripture, God is saying to us that not only MAY we know the times through careful study of His word, but that He WANTS us to know what He’s doing so that we can both pray in accordance thereof and to be about His business in full respect and knowledge of the precious little time remaining.
That ‘business’ of course retains some similarity to what has always been the call, but it also demands an ‘adjustment’ as we understand more and more. As an example, we would not continue just filling sand bags on the beach if we knew that a tsunami was approaching – we would adjust our response…we would continue the fight, but with a different goal in mind.
To continue to fight to restore America then becomes a fight by man for man. It would ignore the knowing of what is God’s will for our times and replace it with man’s efforts. The fight needs to shift its focus from the nation to the individual…to bring as many to the knowledge of Christ as possible while we are still here.
The time for the nation is past… God called us to repent and we collectively said, “no”. His judgement is coming and it cannot be stopped. The massive spiritual and physical entities of Rev. are in the latter stages of forming and the pathway to their completion is set. Once America goes down, the rest of the prophecies/world events begin the final unfolding…do we then continue filling sand bags or do we get people to Higher Ground; do we arrange deck chairs or do we focus on the Life Boats.
If it were not that literally everything is coming to a head with the backdrop of prophecy declaring its harmony with it, then all of this post would be counter to God’s will and rightfully ignored. But if it all is, as it appears to be, then the end of this age is at hand and His return is imminent.

This is not speculative. Demoscum already have discussed states seceding from the country, Civil War(which people on these boards have discussed if Biden cheats and wins) and maybe worse. There could be another virus. There is a story that China is increasing their nuclear capabilities. They already own the democratic party, and demoscum don’t give a damn about the lives of legal American Citizens. What could come next is not out of the realm of possibility.

China is also having business meeting with local governors and others to continue doing business with them and circumvented dealing with the WH. China wants US dependent on them. They want to control us economically through dependence as they do in other countries. They offer cheap products and cheap labor. Cash strapped stated can hardly resist that. It is true that if Biden cheats a win, China will own us.
Those bigger than expected orders with China for farmers has to be handled
carefully. They are open minded to who is dependent on them.

The other side of this is Democrats bailing out rioters – recycling the violent. It looks like there are not enough to sustain the violence if a few of the worst are in jail. Then there are only a limited number of strongholds where there is sufficient manpower to sustain violence. Perhaps we, as a people, are not that violent in our political disdain of one another.
I expect a lot more yelling and screaming, not any serious revolution outside of the news cycle, trying to convince the many people they have frustrated and deceived that they really are America.

There is NO such thing as the Popular Vote. It is a false construct. When you vote you are voting for the elector that will attend the Electoral College.
The “Popular Vote” was addressed by having the House of Representatives where representation is based on the number of people. The Senate gives EACH STATE equal representation in the Senate.
If the “Popular Vote” were ever to occur then the U.S. would be run by the Left Coast (CA, OR, WA) and the I-95 Corridor (The East Coast) and major cities. Middle America, Fly Over Country would be along for the ride, never represented again, and basically told to shut up, pay your taxes, send us our food because we know better than you.
