Leftist Bill Maher launched an attack against President Donald Trump’s reported Supreme Court nominee on Saturday, calling the mother of seven and devout Catholic a “f***ing nut.”
“But apparently the pick is going to be this omy…a-omy…Amy Comey [sic],” Maher said as he started to laugh, “well, we’ll be saying this name a lot I’m sure because she’s a f***ing nut.”
“Religion, I was right about that one, too,” Maher continued. “Amy, I’m sorry but, Amy Comey [sic] Barrett — Catholic, really Catholic, I mean really, really Catholic, like speaking in tongues. Like she doesn’t believe in condoms, which [is] what she has in common with Trump because he doesn’t either — I remember that from Stormy Daniels.”

Basically, it’s virtue signalling. Around twenty years ago, a couple that we (wife and I) knew adopted a child from the PRC. They made a HUGE deal about it. If they were serious, they could have adopted a half-breed, from Japan or the ROK. They’re socially ridiculed and will never be able to be accepted and get any kind of decent job.
We discussed doing so, as …. hey, in our family … half breed chilluns ‘d fit right in.
But, they adopted pure breds from China. And, of course told everyone about it … At that time, it was a status symbol to do so … even a step above adopting from Russia or former Soviet block Eastern Europe.
Gittin’ ’em from China was socialite cred.

Personally I think its best for the child to be brought up by parents who are of the same Race, though the child doesnt see that until the kid becomes aware of their surroundings and this can damage them mentally, though not always, but its tricky no doubt. American Negroes of a high standard of living would never think of adopting a baby from China or a Caucasian child within the USA or Europe, an Arab Family from one of the mega rich Middle Eastern Kingdoms would never think of adopting a child from Africa, Asia or Europe, so why is it only European Americans that adopt from countries most Americans couldnt find on a World Map when there are plenty of kids within the USA that need a home… As you say… virtue signaling.

I like that idea. Love the Warthog. I remember when I lived in N.M. decades ago, was a millionaire back then that owned one of those, used to fly around in it, got to see him a few times when I lived in the Paradise Hills area, would be up around Santa Fe, and there he would be, up in the air, flying, doing barrel rolls and such, having a great time. Gotta love it! Was a lot of desert for him to fly around in, so he got to do all of that, must be nice to have the money to live your dreams!

That’s probably happened. wondering though, and depending on the state, your allowed to have damn near anything. I have seen some videos and other things of groups and clubs of people in different states where people go and get together and go shoot off stuff that they have, a lot go there people have $4 though to be able to buy and bet the ammo for there toys though, but there ARE people that have actual Howitzers, small cannon, machine guns, belted, all kinds of stuff, so see no reason why not an A-10 functional, but don’t see really getting the bombs or the ammo being readily available for it. THAT would be right hard to come by as you would be able to fly across state lines, thinking it might be different as it’s in the air.
Had a friend in N.M. had his own cannon, used to make his own ball rounds, grape shot, few other kinds of rounds, as an experiment, stuff he found in books, that they used to make back in the day, and would try it out, fired it from black powder, would hook it to the trailer hitch on the back of his pick up and take it to the rock quarry and fire it off.
He got right good with it, finding the range and elevation of the thing, knew just where the stuff would land, and could hit pretty much what he was aiming at after a while.

However military aircraft are a different critter with far more risk and regs…

If you see guns or bombs on an aircraft, they are almost always lightweight replicas, but some owners use original guns with their barrels welded closed.

I agree on the planes, like i said before, most like as they can fly across state lines, and different states have different rules. Most like the reason for that, and the fact that being in the air alone causes a whole different set of things for the ‘other side’ to worry about…
If I were able to have one, though, would make sure it was as functional as possible, just in case, would not weld anything closed, and would want it to be as combat ready as possible as I could make it. Warthogs are right good on fuel to start with, have a really good range. Never know when you might need it to be used in a real situation, and one might be coming real fast…

Correct me if I am wrong: I thought it is a felony, punishable by incarceration and financial fines, when one swears under oath and/or lies as a witness in a Court of Law.
If that is still the case, then can anyone tell me, what happened to the many accusers of Justice Kavenagh who was wrongfully accused by many, in particular from the Democrat side.
Will justice be done? If not why not.

I don’t mean to offend you Gray, but haven’t you noticed during the democrats stay in the White House how laws have continued to be watered down? The laws are no longer for the common man but made to fit the democrats and yeah, even the illegals! Then during the eight years of Obama not only were laws watered down but democrat judges were put on benches across this country of ours… that is, this country that once ages ago, we were under the impression was ours.
Haven’t you noticed that nowadays it is usually the guilty that judges go easy on or just release and it is the victim that he calls down and shames?
That the democrats in the House and Senate have broken their oaths daily and don’t get as much as a word said about that; with the exception of us committers online that have screamed repeatedly that they all swore by God (but the democrats don’t believe in God), to protect the country and citizens from both foreign and domestic terrorism. But considering all the other dirty work allowed to be done by democrats, I imagine they managed to change those the oath to better suit them. i.e. how about the ones voted into the House that are Islamic and don’t believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob but in allah? Yet look at how the democrats and those Obama judges are all standing behind and backing the violent rioters. It should be everyone of them in Congress that have to pay for the destruction across this country since they encourage it. But that kind of justice we aren’t about to see. That is unless Trump uses his next term in office to take them down as promised…

The removal of the death penalty was just the tip of the iceberg as the rot is much greater and not only in sentencing but in who is accused of what and who is not accused.
