Imam of Mecca’s Grand Mosque Hints at Normalization With Israel in Friday Sermon

Story continues below advertisementThe imam of Mecca’s Grand Mosque appeared to hint at normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia in a sermon delivered on Friday.
Following the Israeli accord with the United Arab Emirates last month, speculation has been rampant on whether Saudi Arabia would follow suit.
The New Arab, a London-based, Qatari-funded private media outlet, reported over the weekend that Abdul Rahman al-Sudais used his sermon to emphasize tolerance and cooperation between Muslims and non-Muslims.
In particular, he cited instances in which the prophet Muhammad had friendly relationships with Jews.
“The prophet had mortgaged his shield to a Jew when he died; he had shared harvest from the land of the Jews of Khaybar,” he said. “The excellence he showed to his Jewish neighbor led the latter to Islam.”
Mohammed al-Sagheer, an Egyptian Islamic scholar, strongly condemned al-Sudais’ sermon, saying, “He is paving the way for normalization and treason from the holy Meccan pulpit.”
Some other users on social media also reacted angrily to the sermon, saying that it would lead to further normalization between Israel and Muslim countries.

From 60 PERCENT you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and jizya, the tax placed on [conquered] infidels (Sudan, Albania).
After 80 PERCENT, expect to find state-run ethnic cleansing and genocide (Syria, Egypt, UAE).
At 80% it’s over for the country.
I also don’t know God’s time table for prophecy. Twenty to 30% of the Bible is prophecy. It’s truly surreal how countries are lining up. God could throw us a curve ball too and have a pause. As society in general, becomes more secular that seems to be less of a possibility although many are looking for answers.
That “imaginary friend” is more and more appealing to many atheists and agnostics because they also want to experience that peace that no matter what goes on they know what to expect. The Bible is a blue print for what is to take place and is taking place. Agnostics and atheists realize their imperfect reasoning is fatally flawed and doesn’t give them the peace they desire.

Without Israel and Jews to use as the cause for all of the problems in muslim countries, these countries would have to, for the first time, take a look at themselves to see what they really are, backwards, medieval bastions of fear and superstition.
