Manhattan Has Over 13,000 Empty Apartments As NYers Move Out Of The City

Since the pandemic first began in March it seemed that New Yorkers were leaving the city. Now we have some numbers to back that claim up.
According to CNBC, there are now over 13,000 empty apartments in Manhattan. This number has doubled since last year. July and August are usually the most popular months for real estate in Manhattan due to families getting ready to go back to school or young adults leaving college to move into the city, however that is not the case this season. The total number of new leases fell 23% and the median rent is at its largest decline in history! Many landlords are even offering an average of 1.7 months rent-free now along with other incentives like furniture and gift cards.
The emptiness in the city seems to be directly correlated to the pandemic. People feel like they need more space after being in their small city apartments for the past few months if they stuck out the quarantine there. Other New Yorkers are saying that without Broadway, museums and iconic restaurants that have closed, the city just doesn’t hold the same value. Others, especially young adults are leaving after losing their jobs to move back with their family in the suburbs.
New York even had the highest “net outflow” from the city between April and June, according to a report by real estate firm Redfin.

Here’s the upside, everyone. On Monday a federal judge ruled that the 2020 census has to be left open and ordered that the “winding down” be reversed and reopened because China Plague.
This ruling actually gives the census time to redo their numbers to reflect the current outflow from dimokraut states. Which will give a big boost to the red states these people are fleeing into.
If they use this opportunity wisely and revise those original numbers to reflect the great population migration OUT of blue cities and states, the number of representatives those places currently have can end up being completely different from original counts.
Another example of “be careful what you wish for”. Or, in this case, “be careful what you sue President Trump for”.

THE KEY political impact of this migration will be seen in the suburbs. Democrats mainly control the big cities, while Republicans mainly control the rural and ex-urban areas. The battleground is in the suburbs, where there appears to be increasing conservative and Republican support right now. It could go either way, since most city dwellers are Democrats, and they could bring those politics with them to the suburbs.
However, even very big cites have lots of conservatives and Republicans, held hostage as minorities. If they move to the suburbs in droves, we will see more Republicans in State legislatures, and more in the US House as well.

Trump has temporarily discouraged that with the EO f not requiring low income housing in suburbs where the ultra elite like Hillary live. Of course if Biden gets in that will go away. Another housing rule put in by Obama in HUD that has been codified is still being ignored…. that is ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION CAN ONLY BE MULTI FAMILY DWELLINGS. Think about that….

“East Coast version of San Fransisco”.
Only much colder in winter when the City puts the homeless into those fast emptying apartments then the city can’t pay the heating bills.
Then those bldgs burndown from people burning furniture to keep from freezing to death….with 100’s burned alive daily…!

As with Reagan I beieve Ca. is mostly Conservative (of any Party or not) but the intentional ploy of Dems to undermine you by creating the Mexican influx for illegall votes worked because no one raised unuff fuss in numbers to be listened to during the ’80’s or it could’ve bern stopped.
HOWEVER both Houses were Dems his whole 2terms.
They shamed him to sign their Amnesty Pardon in return promised to end illegals by building a wall..which of course they lied about and never did.
It worked in Ca. so why would they not push it by hook or crook on the whole nation?…well its what they did every way they could.

Well I happen to live in a state controlled by a stinking liberal governor who is the SISTER of the former governor, Jerry Brown, in California. And I can’t leave, there is nowhere to go, I’m alone with no family. I will stay and hopefully work to help make things better here. And NO ONE is going to force an unwanted vaccine, which contains MRC-5 (DNA from aborted baby body parts), on THIS woman!

When I see silly wee white girls handing money to some black guy sitting on the Sidewalk begging, I tell them he is just gonna use it for dope so why not just go score the dope for him and that way he doesnt need to leave his primed spot on the Sidewalk but she feels so good for helping somebody and that takes care of her guilt trip for a day at least.
