Iran’s economy has been devastated due to the biting economic sanctions from the United States. President Trump has said that he is confident that Iran will negotiate to end it’s nuclear program if he is re-elected. However, if Joe Biden is elected POTUS that’s out. Biden will lift all of Trump’s economic sanctions, while allowing Iran to obtain nukes through the JCPOA. This will guarantee war in the Middle East. It’s all on the line on November 3rd, 2020.
What @realDonaldTrump has said is we’re going to deny [Iran] the resources. We’re not going to send crates of cash. We’re not going to allow them to do business in the world. We’re not going to allow them to create the very wealth that destroys the opportunity for peace. pic.twitter.com/t7B0RxuWjc

Iran could have material for nuke by end of year
By Jerusalem Post, September 20, 2020
As Iran counts down the minutes to the end of an arms embargo so that it can begin importing much-needed technology and dual-use equipment for weapons, a senior US official alleged that it is resuming work with North Korea on long-range missiles. Iran also could have enough material for a nuclear weapon by the end of the year. The report was part of a larger Reuters report about new US sanctions against up to two dozen people and entities that will be slapped onto Iran. The US has urged the UN to snap back sanctions on Iran after Washington says Iran violated a 2015 deal.
Iran has circled the wagons and brought in the Russians, China, Turkey, the EU and many other countries to oppose the US attempts to put more sanctions on. The US allegation about the long-range missile work is linked to other US claims that Iran has violated agreements linked to ballistic missile development. Iran says it can build whatever it wants. It recently put a military satellite into space.
Iran has a massive indigenous missiles program consisting of advanced solid and liquid fueled rockets, missiles and precision guided missiles. Iran has also transferred this technology to the Houthis in Yemen, militias in Iraq, Syria, Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Iran’s missile program has advanced in recent years, even under sanctions. Iran claims it makes most of its parts locally. However in the past Iran has benefited from North Korean expertise. Like most countries whose missiles are based on Soviet designs Iran has used know-how that is part of reverse engineering or basing missiles on Chinese, Russian and North Korean designs. It has then gone on to try to improve the designs, increasing ranges and precision.
Reuters says the US official spoke on condition of anonymity and that this official had said Iran could have a nuclear weapon by the end of the year and had “resumed long-range missile cooperation with nuclear-armed North Korea.” The official did not provide evidence.
Iran’s missiles are potentially linked to its nuclear program because even if Iran can build a nuclear device and test it, the regime faces a problem in how to deliver the bomb. It has no long-range bombers, so Iran would have to potentially put it on a missile. There are many questions about how Iran would do that and how safe it would be. Iran shot down a civilian jetliner this year and has mined ships in the Gulf of Oman.

Yeah, and now today, Russia claims there are no sanctions on Iran anymore, probably because they don’t understand how Trump / Pompeo set the sanctions up. The real teeth are in a Trump executive order from yesterday, that sanctions every man and his dog if they sell Iran a pop-gun. Business sanctions are far tougher than country sanctions, because every business wants to sell to the USA. Eliot Abrams is Trump’s new tough guy point man on Iran, and he explains why Iran can’t sell any oil:
Knowing Ruthi, I’m of the opinion that is closer to her dying words than what her granddaughter claims.
Hi Ach: Yes, once again, the Dems want us to believe their hearsay evidence.
And, seriously, who gives a flyin’ flip WHAT that vile old witch said?

Thanks for the link, DemocracyRules (whatever happened to “2”?).
I simply cannot imagine lugging around 110 pounds (plus) in combat.
Thanks Ach, I got rid of the “2” by fiddling with my Disqus ID to restore my original screen name.

Do you think that modern troops are better? They might be. One WWII study found that only about 1 combat soldier in 10 ever actually fired his weapon in the direction of the enemy. After all, if you fire at them, they will fire back at you. If you don’t fire at them, then they don’t know you are there.
Modern training has improved this a lot, especially with video game experience, where people learn to shoot quickly and accurately in complex simulated environments. And the military now does a lot of real-world training in combat-type sets with whole faux villages.
So maybe soldiers are better, I don’t know. We may find out soon, if Iran gets nasty.
Do away with the ridiculous rules of engagement, and irene would crater within a day.
Faux villages? Simply set the entire village to flame and shoot what comes out.
The faux villages are practice locations where soldiers can practice things like door and wall breaching, counter-battery fire, etc. They even use paint-ball guns, to practice shooting each other.
No need to breach a door when the entire village is set afire. Shoot what comes out.
Oh … it’s a child … Don’t shoot. Oh, it’s an unarmed man … Don’t shoot. Yeah … fork that sh-t.
Kill everything that you see before you. Burn every building.
No need for paint ball practice.
I know you sound like a big tough guy, but you have a point. The Geneva accords are the main source for the international rules of war. For example, the accords specify that both sides must wear a uniform, or some other clear identifying markings. That makes sense, unless one is a terrorist. And with no markings, all the accords collapse.
So the Geneva accords apply when both parties adhere to them. If one side abrogates, then neither side is obligated to apply the accords.
Thus, we have the paradox of Israel, fighting unmarked terrorist fighters in Gaza, and elsewhere, and still adhering to the Geneva accords for their own side.
This has nothing to do with “a big tough guy”. Rather, it deals with winning conflicts and securing Unconditional Surrender.
I’m amazed you’re back what with your blatant islamofauxbia and all.

Funny. It’s a photo-shop, obviously. But conceptually accurate
Better get used to these, low level warfare continues against Iran and her proxies:
Breaking: Big explosion in southern Lebanon near Israel border. The ‘gas station’ that blew up turned out to be a Hezbollah house.
Blast hit Hezbollah house in southern Lebanon – security source. The cause of the blast in Ain Qana was not immediately clear.

“Initial information indicates an explosion in southern Lebanon on Tuesday hit a house belonging to the Iran-backed Hezbollah group, a security source and the Lebanese broadcaster al-Jadeed said. Hezbollah imposed a security cordon around the area.”
Lieberman is right, Hezbollah has 180,000 missiles:
Israel OKs 600 Bomb Shelters For Northern Border, But Critics Say Too Few

“Hundreds of thousands of citizens in the north are still without protection,” said MK Avigdor Lieberman.
As threats from Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon escalate and tensions rise on the northern border between Lebanon and Israel, the Israeli government has promised to build 600 protective rooms that function as bomb shelters for residents of the border areas.
Bbbbbut Israel is at peace?!
Errant Hamas balloon fire bomb?
Not unless the balloon could carry 12,000 pounds of dynamite.
The 12,000 pounds of dynamite was already there.
So just a balloon carrying a blasting cap? And how did the balloon make it into the basement of the munitions depot? The tooth fairy?
Suicide bomber was on board.

Ideologically accurate.
That pic’s an obscenity … I’ll stop there because I can’t think of anything polite.
*** You and yours have an excellent week, taxpayer!
To think that – clown and i’m being very polite – was ” leader ” of this country for 8 years –
Yes … it’s hard to be polite. His ‘accomplishments’ created so much damage …
*** You and yours have a wonderful week!
Just remember: if not this year, then some other year. It’s 2020, people. The technology to enrich uranium is extremely well understood and very easy to create – for the right people. The original team did it with crude tools, by comparison. Now?
Converting uranium into plutonium is more dangerous but not technically much harder.
Rockets fell on London and Antwerp over 70 years ago, at this point. Again, this technology is well understood.
Is Barry Soeweto a fool of the highest order? Obviously. But even if he was ruthless in trying to stop Iran, it’s impossible. They’re a big country with lots of dark agents who want to see them succeed. No amount of US opposition is going to fully stop it – and we can see that the UN are fools and tools, just like their Wet Dream Memory of Barry Soeweto. With that many people happy to help you, you’re gonna find a way.
It’s like Saddam Hussein and the WMD’s. Once your technology base gets to a certain point, this kind of stuff is easy to make. So he made them… and he used them. Nobody wants to admit that, but there was never any question that they existed – he used them against his own people, many times. Then, suddenly, Syria is using them… fascinating coincidence.
Ricin just went to the White House.
These things are easy to make, if you have the education. We have people all over the USA making meth – you don’t think they can manufacture poisons?
WMD’s of all types, including this China Virus that we are facing, are getting easier and easier to make.
Yet another reason why Elections Matter.
You want Fingers Biden or his whore running mate making the decisions in this kind of situation?
It’s inevitable that Iran gets nukes, the question is will they have the means to deliver them? Of course they could just hand them off to any number of muslum terrorist outfits to use as they see fit.
“This will guarantee war in the Middle East. It’s all on the line on November 3rd, 2020.”
It will (also) guarantee an EMP attack on the Great Satan (the United States). They’ve been planning it for decades.
Interesting point you make. An EMP actually could be far deadlier than just nuking one or two cities. The EMP could wipe out all electronics across the US and possibly including Canada and Mexico.
This would render over 400 million people without power, water, computers, phones, vehicles, and other basics and put everyone in the stone age instantly. You’d have mass chaos, rioting and deaths from starvation.
I know the Center for Security Policy has been doing a lot of great work to bring this to the attention of politicians. This would be an absolute game changer or ender.
People have no idea how fragile civilization can be and vulnerable to attack and annihilation. They can destroy us with wmds or through invasion and conquer us from within using our own laws/rules. They’ll only realize after the devastation already has happened and it’ll likely be too late to do anything about it.
We really should be hardening our electronics esp the grid and other infrastructure from such an attack. It’s not only an EMP, a GRB (gamma-ray burst) or sufficiently powerful solar flares can wreak the same havoc.
Delighted to see you have been paying attention. Sadly, most haven’t and won’t until it’s too late.
The US and many other national power grids are NOT protected from an EMP attack.
Nuclear power plants only have a couple weeks of back up fuel and battery power to run the cooling pumps. You can expect 60+ Chernobyl style melt downs just in the USA. Not a good day!
Repairs will take months or years assuming there are no follow up attacks or radiation sickness to kill the survivors.
Legislation introduced in the US Congress to harden the US electrical grid has been stalled for 9 years now. No one wants to pay for it!
The Chernobyl disaster happened during a test that wasn’t part of normal operations:
‘The disaster occurred on April 25–26, 1986, when technicians at reactor
Unit 4 attempted a poorly designed experiment. Workers shut down the
reactor’s power-regulating system and its emergency safety systems, and
they withdrew most of the control rods from its core while allowing the
reactor to continue running at 7 percent power.’
I don’t know if they’re stupid enough to attempt experiments like those on US reactors.
A very likely EMP attack is not a Keystone Cops experiment. It will be an act of war.
I think US nuclear reactors are made to better standards than the Chernobyl plant and even better than the Fukushima reactor, but I see your point, if their power systems were compromised that could invalidate all their failsafes. Is it possible to harden an installation against an EMP detonation?
Yes.
Glad to see you’ve done your homework. Most have not. So, they cannot comprehend the dire consequences we face should Iran get the bomb.
The fact that our politicians (especially our presidents) have failed to do their jobs-in protecting our homeland from this clear and present threat to our very survival-speaks volumes about so many things which time and space will not permit me to address here.
Congress has more important tasks at the moment.
Insurrection, Sedition, Treason, Impeach, Lie, Hide Chinese Bribes, Delay, Deny …etc.
Ours is an interminably sick and depraved nation-ripe for divine judgment-unless there is national repentance and revival SOON!
When Israel attacks Iranian nuke sites many Russian, Chinese and North Koreans will die.
Considering nuclear weapons leave nothing in the way of evidence after detonation, if the Iranian muslum vermin were to hand off a nuke to muslum terrorist outfits and they were to successfully use it against the Great or Little Satans and the muslum (oops, make that “islamist”) terrorist org. were to take credit who would the civilised world take vengeance on? Iran could always pin the blame on N. Korea or Pakistain or even state it’s one of the rogue nukes taken from the USSR’s nuclear arsenal and thus invoke plausible deniability.
Obama’s gift to the Iranians just keeps on giving. Let’s see. Iran May have enough material for a single primitive bomb. How much does the USA have? Just wondering.
Gee, then our largest Democrat run cities could be nuked. That would be an improvement.
When iran gets their bomb who will they use it on first. It better be big because that will be the LAST time they will ever do anything in this Universe.
The experts regularly claim Iran will have a bomb soon. They have been wrong countless times. Like a broken clock one day they will be right.
Iran does NOT have multiple nukes with delivery devices yet, because if they did, they would threaten us with them. But according to the IAEA, Iran is close to having nukes, and the capacity to make more quite quickly.
Don’t forget, Little Boy [Hiroshima bomb] was quite easy to make, even in1944, and the USA did not even test it, the designers knew it would work, and they just dropped it. We do not want Iran to act quickly with nukes, or even parade them around to threaten others with them. Because then we will have to blow the crap out of them, ASAP.
Obama’s submission to Iran, was just another proof he either was or became a radicalized Muslim.
Shutting down NASA then forcing them to submit to Islam right out the gate.
Changing the name of isis to isil a Muslim way of threatening Israel.
His persecution of Christians while advancing Islam.
Giving arms to terrorists, Al Qaeda and isis if they called themselves Syrian freedom fighters, 😉
Couldn’t get him to do anything other than drone isis like he was swatting wasp nests to keep them moving.
You don’t ‘ mine ‘ a ship – you blow a ship up when it runs into a mine – thats what degaussing is for..To prevent magnetic mines from being attracted to the metal hull of a ship –
Time to stop the production!
Nuclear weapon? Iran will sooner have flying pigs in every mosque.
Remember Obamba was just being a good mohammadon. Kerry who’s daughter is married to one and sleepy Joe were just following orders when the cash and sanctions were lifted.
In the nuclear age, you don’t build ICBMs to deliver non-nuclear warheads. It’s as simple as that.
The notion that they don’t have any long range bombers ignores the fact that they have jet airlines capable of being converted to bombers.
The obvious mode of attack….
In May 2020, Iran sent five oil tankers—Forest, Fortune, Petunia, Faxon, and Clavel—all under the flag of Iran, to Venezuela, followed by another tanker, Golsan, sent in June 2020.
They could just as easy have converted the holds to carry short range missiles on board with EMP nukes.
Why? That is how I would attack.
Yes, that is a more likely scenario. We can only hope that the U.S. will track freighter traffic going to and from Iran.
It’s always the slow banana boat that is overlooked by the military.
An interesting idea, but I imagine the USA, and maybe some other states (Russia for one, maybe the more advanced EU states) have satellites watching Iran constantly. If a shipyard were to begin making such modifications to a super-tanker I’d imagine it would be known pretty quickly by other powers. Once they got to the open sea, such tankers would probably be boarded perforce.
An Idea that may have been tried.
There is a cold war era Russian cargo ship that the CIA sunk south east of Cuba somewhere. Locals call the popular scuba dive wreak the “Russian Ship.”
Drugs, Nukes, Vodka? Details are missing. Can’ find the story anymore.
Locals call the popular scuba dive wreak the “Russian Ship.” It is not the purchased Russian Frigate purposely sunk to create a reef.
Does Iran have any boomers? I know they bought some used Russian diesel subs.
