2 deputies shot in apparent ambush in Compton, CA
Protesters reportedly shouting slogans like “Death to the police!” showed up to the Los Angeles area hospital treating two law enforcement officers who were ambushed and shot on Saturday.

A local faith leader who was at the hospital told a KABC reporter that the protesters tried to get into the emergency room.
“They were saying ‘Death to the police’ and ‘Kill the police,’ and these are sheriffs, but the message is still the same. They were using all types of curse words and derogatory terms,” he told KABC. “Unacceptable behavior, because a hospital should be a sanctuary.”

The officers are being treated at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, Calif., the Long Beach Press-Telegram reported.
Video posted online showed protesters being prevented from walking farther onto hospital grounds and arguing with hospital security over whether the hospital is public or private property.

Protesters could be heard shouting at one officer who appeared to point some sort of weapon at the protesters.
“That’s why you’re dying one by one, you stupid f—s,” a man can be heard saying. “Y’all gonna die one by one. This ain’t gonna stop.”
“You’re next with the f—— hot pocket,” a man shouted.
“I want to deliver a message to the family of the [inaudible]: I hope they f—— die,” a man yelled.
Law enforcement arrested one man and one woman, who was later identified as a member of the press, amid the protests.
COMPTON ‘AMBUSH’ LEAVES 2 LA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES ‘FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES’
A local radio reporter was also apparently arrested amid the chaos. County Undersheriff Tim Murakami said he was looking into the arrest, according to a reporter with KPCC Public Radio. In an update, he said the reporter was being released but would be charged with a misdemeanor.
The sheriff’s office later confirmed an adult female, who was later identified as a member of the press, was arrested. Authorities did not immediately identify the woman.
She had run toward deputies while a male protester was being arrested for failing to comply with dispersal orders at the hospital, the sheriff’s office said. While the man struggled with deputies, the sheriff’s office said the woman ignored repeated commands to stay back and interfered with the arrest.
The woman had not identified herself as a member of the press, according to the sheriff’s office, and later admitted she did not have proper press credentials on her person.
The deputies, a 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, were both in critical condition and “fighting for their lives” as they underwent surgery following the attack, which occurred around 7 p.m. local time outside a Metro rail station in Compton, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
CLEVELAND POLICE OFFICER SHOT, KILLED ; 3 SUSPECTS REPORTEDLY ARRESTED
“Moments ago, 2 of our Sheriff Deputies were shot in Compton and were transported to a local hospital,” the department tweeted. “They are both still fighting for their lives, so please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”
The deputies were out of surgery by 11 p.m. PT, according to KABC-TV.
President Trump, who held a rally in Nevada on Saturday night, responded on Twitter after the sheriff’s department tweeted out a grainy video that shows the suspect approaching the parked patrol vehicle and firing shots inside the vehicle’s passenger-side window.
“Animals that must be hit hard!” Trump wrote, referring to criminals who target law enforcement.

Both deputies were sworn in just over a year ago and the female deputy is the mother of a 6-year-old boy, officials said in a 10 p.m. news conference. Both of their families were rallying around them at the hospital.
Sheriff Alex Villanueva said while authorities don’t have a detailed suspect description, one of the deputies described the shooter as a “dark-skinned male.”
Villanueva said the shooting shows the dangers officers face in the streets and how situations can change in “the blink of an eye.”

Why are these people not treated as what they are, our enemy’s? They make no attempt to hide the fact that they want to destroy us as they chant “death to America” and other assorted chants calling for the murder of our police, and we are told they have a “right to express their opinion?” They flat out say they are our enemy. Once people start rioting to “express their opinion” that have forfeited the 1st amendment. Are people really that stupid (police included) that things have been allowed to get to the point that it has? WTF is going on and why has the president waited to be invited? Why will he not use the insurrection act to stop the destruction and killings?

Our corrupt FBA, CIA and DOJ have done nothing to stop this.
Trump doesn’t have internal support from his own party to enact the Insurrection Act. So he temporarily punts till he has it. I am specifically referring to McConnel, DHS and his Secretary of Defense and I suspect A.G. Barr doesn’t want it used either since Barr was all FOR releasing criminals form prisons to protect THEM from the virus. Common sense would lead anyone to isolating them in prison rather than letting them lose to us. The corruption in our government is more entreched and deeper than I ever imagined. It’s a horror show.
If I am reading Trump correctly, he is making his re-election the priority, and it should be, rather than taking on his GOP adversity to implement the Insurrection Act. He’ll deal with that later. He doesn’t want people to see how divided the GOPe is against him. He is trying to keep a united front. Why embarrass yourself by your own party objecting to implementing the Insurrection Act and distracting from Biden and letting the liberals paint him as another Hitler? Instead he is more or less forced to using this to highlight what the DEMS agenda is and using the National Guard when allowed. To use the National Guard they do need to be invited in.
In the past, Governors welcomed then when things got out of control. Today DEM governors don’t want the National Guard. There have been changes with the Insurrection Act and I am not sure if that needs an invitation or not. The Senate is precarious with Trump support. Trump can’t always count on them to be his firewall. That’s just the way it is! It’s very frustrating and sad that our country has gotten to this point – our own representatives, GOP, side against us with few exceptions.

No need for anyone, other than the president, to enact it.
Before invoking the powers under the Act, 10 U.S.C. § 254 requires the President to first publish a proclamation ordering the insurgents to disperse. As part of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, these provisions are now codified as amended.
So, the president publishes a proclamation telling blm to disperse. After that …. He could go “Full Lincoln” on them.

Admit it or don’t, but this whole “war on cops” agenda was started by Obhammud when he said the Cambridge cops had “acted stupidly” and that ridiculous charade afterward he stupidly called a “beer summit”. Then again in the Ferguson case, Trayvon Martin incident, Freddie Gray, etc.
I have never liked it when a sitting President lowers the dignity of his office by becoming involved in street-level crime. I thought it despicable when Nixon pronounced Charles Manson guilty before he ever came to trial, though he was as right as rain when he said it.

The world famous Dr Albert Schweitzer, near-deified darling of the left, who gave up pretty much the whole of his life to care for the Africans where they lived, out in the bush, wrote this as the foreword to his book “From My African Notebook”, published in 1938.
