TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Gov. Ron DeSantis lifted all restrictions on restaurants and other businesses in Florida on Friday in a move to reopen the state’s economy despite the spread of the coronavirus.
Story continues below advertisement“We’re not closing anything going forward,” DeSantis said, while insisting that the state is prepared with plans in place if infections increase again.
The Republican governor’s move is sure to stoke debate in a politically crucial state, where the pandemic has become intertwined with the upcoming presidential election. DeSantis is a major ally of President Donald Trump.
DeSantis took the action even as he acknowledged that the pandemic was far from over.
DeSantis has slowly reopened the state for business since then, allowing restaurants and bars to reopen at half capacity, even as the pandemic continues to spread.
Florida added 2,847 confirmed coronavirus cases on Friday, pushing the statewide total since March 1 to 695,887. The state also announced 120 new virus deaths, pushing its total to 14,038. Hospitalizations declined by 34 to 2,137 people.
The governor’s announcement Friday would allow restaurants across the state to immediately reopen at full capacity — and would bar cities and counties from ordering restaurants to close, unless they can justify a closure for economic or health reasons.

I have been infuriated over this since receiving the email in March 2020 from the CDC with the “new” directions on how to fill out death certificates. I knew then that the left had infiltrated the NIH, the CDC and wanted to get numbers higher than were real for what I have always seen as a mutation of the common cold virus. This has got to be the most sinister plots ever devised. Pure genius.
Fauci told the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth originally, as did Adams. But someone or something got to him and he began to tell lie after lie to the public and to the president. I hope he rots in hell.

Initially everybody laughed with the idea. But not today. Gazeta Express has learned that Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti expressed his readiness to support Grenell’s idea at a meeting with him. The same idea was endorsed also by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at another meeting.
The debate, and later the Agreement, about Ujman Lake have triggered a wave of reactions in Kosovo. Kosovo has reached an agreement with the US for the State Department to carry out a feasibility study on how to share the lake’s resources.

By the way, I only know of one person personally that has gotten the china virus and he lives a long ways away, like hundreds of miles. Sounds like a good plan considering the CDC and WHO haven’t been able to confirm the primary means of virus transmission. We all think we know what should be obvious, and we probably do, but they can’t even confirm that.
Nothing any country has done so far has completely stopped it. Don’t quote me “facts” about isolated islands like New Zealand either. Be realistic, this virus has spread throughout the entire world. It hasn’t wiped out all life on Earth. Let’s go back to living life and quit being afraid of each other.
