Donald Trump’s Michigan rally draws estimated 5,500 supporters to crowded aircraft hangar

FREELAND, MI — An estimated 5,500 people packed into an aircraft hangar to see President Donald Trump speak at a rally in Saginaw County on Thursday.
Trump’s visit to Freeland brought supporters from across Michigan and other states, and hundreds more remained outside the venue after it reached capacity shortly after 5 p.m., two hours before the president was scheduled to speak. Inside the hangar, which included outdoor seating and standing room inside the open hangar, some attendees wore masks while many others didn’t.
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has issued executive orders limiting the size of indoor and outdoor gatherings, but those orders include an exemption for activities protected by the First Amendment. The governor’s office did not respond to a request for comment Thursday afternoon.
Hundreds of Trump supporters lined up in the parking lot outside the venue early Thursday. Some waited days to secure a spot at the front of the pack. Several vehicles blasted music while vendors hawked Trump-branded merchandise in a party-like atmosphere.
“It’s like a little community here, everybody’s real nice and friendly,” said Jim Ling, a 27-year-old Hemlock resident. “Just like tailgating at a football game.”
Campaign staff handed out masks and hand sanitizer at the Thursday rally. Attendees had temperature checks performed before entering the venue, but people who attended were notified they could be exposing themselves to risk of infection.

“not essential” for them and ideally you. Abortions, violent riots, murders death, protecting illegals, sanctuary cities, lootins and the rest of it are “essential.”

Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff ruled that the church must not conduct any indoor worship services unless it fully complies with the county’s mandates relating to physical distancing and face coverings, according to the nonprofit law firm Thomas More Society.
In an 18-page ruling, Beckloff wrote that the county demonstrated “a likelihood of success on the merits of its claims” and found that the “balance of harms tips in its favor.”
(Not one person has the virus and they mask up and go by social distancing. Time to sue the crap out of them. They also terminated his lease for parking that he has maintained and paid for over 45 years! This is sheer vindictiveness and discrimination. Appeal it!)
“The Court finds the balance of harms tips in favor of the County,” the judge contends. “The potential consequences of community spread of COVID-19 and concomitant risk of death to members of the community — associated and unassociated with the Church — outweighs the harm that flows from the restriction on indoor worship caused by the County Health Order.”
MacArthur called the ruling “inexplicable.”
“The judge said the ‘scale tipped in favor of the county.’ 1/100th of 1% of Californians with a virus apparently wins over the U.S. Constitution and religious freedom for all?” the pastor asked.
“That is not what our founders said. Nor is that what God says, who gave us our rights that our government — including the judicial branch — is supposed to protect. The scale should always tip in favor of liberty, especially for churches.”
Jenna Ellis, a lawyer for MacArthur and Grace Community Church, said the injunction is a temporary setback.
“We will continue to fight for Pastor MacArthur and Grace Community Church’s constitutionally protected right to hold church,” Ellis said in a statement.
“Church is essential, and no government agent has the runaway, unlimited power to force churches to close indefinitely,” she added.

Of course I’m in my 80’s but when I was a child and my children likewise, we were allowed to play in the dirt, make mud pies, and gee we were even around kids that had runny noses! Well way to go.
I’m positive of having the flu “once” in my lifetime and have now had COPD going into my 18th year but, you guessed it, I haven’t had a cold in over 30 some years. And hey, one of those years in the worst part of a cold winter my heat went out on a Friday and all companies were so busy they didn’t get around to me until Monday. I was one cold old lady as I didn’t even have a room heater (do now!) but still, I didn’t catch a cold. My kids try not to worry me so I can’t be sure about them but I do know that they call me for prayer when the have anything serious wrong with them.
As for the crowds that Trump brings in, can anyone believe the polls and that Biden is ahead by even one vote? Sorry but I have to believe that is just more of the democrat lies to make “Biden feel better about himself.”
Come on November 3rd and show the world of democrats what truth really is for even with them padding the ballots, I just don’t think God is going to let them get away with it. You know God doesn’t side with the liars…
