Would you rather have an unpatriotic education? If children are not taught respect for a country’s constitution, laws & supporting institutions they will grow up with no desire to defend them or you.

Okay thanks for the clarification. I agree with the president, children need as he says a patriotic education. I took a course called Americanism versus Communism in high school when we moved to Florida, it was part of the curriculum. It was very condensed forthright and informative.

I taught in the NYC high schools for 21 years. There are too many hard core lefties. Because there are many students in rebellion they don’t listen to their teachers, so the leftist goals are deflected. In the better schools, the smart ones respect teachers and thus are led astray. I was there. I was against it for 21 years. I thank God I remained employed as sometimes the animosity was so great. After writing one column in the union newsletter referring to our “sick and sinful society,” one PhD in microbiology came to see me to tell me “there’s no such thing as sin.” Another commie told me “Communism collapsed in the Soviet Union but it’s alive and well in this high school.” This is a great development, but IT WILL BE RESISTED. The big city schools are hotbeds of communist, anti-American fervor. Thanks again to Pam for publishing this. I didn’t see it anywhere else.

Fire the FedEdDept + NEA ….ALONG WITH 1/2 the Deep-State and all public-unions while combing to fire all bureauc-Rats with a whiff of socialist intent of the agencies allowed to stay but put under specific Congressional oversite and accountability as to actions and standards…!

1776 and our Declaration of Independence! Wow, really?!
That would mean future generations would get the chance to know and read the Monroe Doctrine that was ratified in 1823. It would be wonderful to see truth allowed in this country and communism to get kicked out! I was fortunate to live in the days when truth was allowed to be told in the news on radio, then the days of television, but always in the newspapers at that time, and I would never have guessed it would so radically change over the years.
How about the coincidence of the deaths of ex-president’s? Adams and Jefferson both died on 7/4/26. Monroe 7/4/31. Both Monroe and Washington had the same symptoms, which could just as likely have been from arsenic poison. But the word of doctors was taken and no autopsies were done. Then Harrison died only 35 days, on 7/4/41, after becoming president, poisoned. And I can’t forget Taylor who they said was poisoned from drinking water, milk and/or by eating cherries but Taylor fought dying and made it to 7/9/50. All stood for the Monroe Doctrine. Back then we didn’t have two parties, only one party called the Democrat-Republican Party so the good, the bad and the ugly were all thrown together. Each of these dead ex-presidents loved this country and always will to stand up and fight for it.
The truth of history deserves to be taught to our kids! But that doesn’t/wouldn’t serve the democrats so there will be one heck of a fight against Trump on this. I mean look how hard they have tried for so many years to erase the good and bad history of this country. I never would have imagined that the democrats could twist the POC around their little finger to the point they would be willing to remove all signs that they had ever been kept as slaves. Imagine that! Not a very smart move for those that wanted to collect from the days of slavery. lol Really! …
