Mayor Bill De Blasio: No Indoor Dining Until Next Year

39

Devastating. New York City’s restaurants will not survive this tyrannical policy. Mayor Bill de Blasio seems to be taking joy out of destroying the lives of his residents, most especially the city’s small business owners. New York City will not be recognizable by the time Mayor de Blasio mercilessly leaves office in 2021. It’s so sad.

Mayor Bill De Blasio: No Indoor Dining Until Next Year

By The Federalist, August 25, 2020

Story continues below advertisement

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio pledged a final blow to the city’s dying restaurants, promising to keep restrictions prohibiting indoor dining in place until next year.

“If folks miss the theater, if they miss the indoor dining, those things will be back,” de Blasio said, before qualifying, “they’ll be back next year at some point” in response to a question Monday over fears about the mass exodus of wealthy constituents fleeing the city and taking their tax dollars with them.

That leaves struggling restaurants facing even higher uncertainty this fall as temperatures drop, making outdoor dining, the saving grace for shut-down establishments, unappetizing for patrons uncomfortable eating out in cold weather. The average temperature in New York City for October can range from 57 to 47 degrees. It goes from 47 to 38 in November.

According to the New York Post, de Blasio, true to form, said he wasn’t thinking that far ahead quite yet and instead was focusing on reopening schools for Sept. 10.

Meanwhile, headlines prophesizing the city’s coming collapse under de Blasio’s leadership are dominating coverage, as spiking crime rates and crippling lockdowns banning any kind of activity except protesting for social justice suffocate the Big Apple and drive out its rich residents who fund the government’s operations and all its social services.

“New York is dead forever,” read one doomsday piece in the the New York Post.

In early March, many people (not me) left NYC when they felt it would provide safety from the virus and they no longer needed to go to work and all the restaurants were closed. People figured, “I’ll get out for a month or two and then come back.”

They are all still gone.

And then in June, during rioting and looting, a second wave of NYC-ers (this time me) left. I have kids. Nothing was wrong with the protests, but I was a little nervous when I saw videos of rioters after curfew trying to break into my building.

Many people left temporarily but there were also people leaving permanently. Friends of mine moved to Nashville, Miami, Austin, Denver, Salt Lake City, Austin, Dallas, etc.

Now a third wave of people are leaving. But they might be too late. Prices are down 30-50% on both rentals and sales, no matter what real estate people tell you. And rentals soaring in the second- and third-tier cities.

According to Fox Business, a report from New World Wealth and Webster Pacific revealed that the combined wealth of the city deteriorated by $336 million by the end of June, just more than a month after George Floyd’s death.

Don’t worry, Red Bill has all his muslim friends lined up to snap up the real estate cheap and turn NY into one giant ground zero mosque.

Trump is still super-worried about mail-in voting: comment image
I’m not sure why the Dems want mail-in voting. It will confuse and delay the voting results so badly that many election results will NEVER be known.
* The Dems originally wanted to control what votes get counted, to distort the vote
* And with no results at all, existing, hated Democrat politicos can keep their jobs
* And this will prevent Republicans from producing a landslide victory
* But it will also force the continuance of Trump, and force a second vote
The Bottom Line is that the Dems MUST expect a total rout at the polls, to wreck the vote this badly.

They should announce 10-year jail penalties for anyone guilty of election fraud.
and automatic deportation for non-locals.

Yes Trump could do that. But if the ballots are so badly lost, or confused, or double counted, then the fraud will be impossible to correct. And that is what the Dems want. It’s like a huge Cloward-Piven Strategy, just to create chaos. If the vote is so wrecked that it is uninterpretable, then the Dems may just try to ignore it.

Hey, Democracy……do you or anyone know where Felix went? What other site could he be on?
Not sure who threw him off….BB or Disqus.
If anyone locates him….let us know.

Hi lady, Felix was banned by Disqus.
Geller Report did not do it, and Achmed Mohand…. was also banned by Disqus. I am banned from posting pictures, and I use a workaround by posting pics by using the Opera browser to access Geller Report. That works for now, until Disqus hunts me down there.
Felix can be reached by digging out any Disqus reply that you got from Felix, and replying to that. He could try accessing Geller Report and Disqus by using Opera, especially if he uses their free VPN that hides his IP address, and he changes his email address and password on Disqus. Those are the things that Disqus keys on.
I miss Felix and and Ached a lot. I learned a lot from them.

Thanks. Some of that was techy stuff I may not understand, but I’ve been told by Hulu if I use a VPN I can’t get the Hulu programming.

I am a member of Pamela Geller’s site. So maybe I could find him there posting? I get updates from her every day.
Do you know if he changed his pin name on Geller? Is he still Felix?

I recently read that, if the presidential election has not resolved by January 20, 2021, the Speaker of the House becomes the president. No wonder that Killery has advised the Delaware Dingbat to never concede after he`s lost, as, his surrogate would take his place! (assuming that the repubs don`t regain the House majority)

…the Speaker does take over just until a President is announced. Then the Wicked Witch leaves…..
They planned all this Chaos….hoping to do this very thing….and we know they were planning it because they were already planting the seed that Trump will refuse to leave and will have to be dragged out of the White House. I’ve lived a long time, and I have never heard this kind of bull hocky……

However, I think that is just their wet dream. President Trump will win by such a huge margin, nothing they say or try to do will bring about the drunken, mentally ill Pukelosi slithering into the White House.
I’m old, but even I would take up arms to prevent that from happening.

Lady, good to know. The speaker, acting as President, could issue executive orders that permanently ended the Democratic Republic.

They want to control the food chain. In RI they are going after restaurants for cleaning logs and small businesses. They threw in one Walmart for good measure. The restaurants fail, who has all the food?

So if you come back to NY, and Governor Cuomo wants to take you out for dinner and a drink, where does he take you? Would him cooking a meal and serve it in his home, would that qualify as indoor dining?

Hard to believe all his underlings go along with this. People need to start pushing the issue. If the cops won’t arrest looters and rioters, it would be very disappointing if they arrested business owners for opening.

Mayor Bill De Blasio: No Indoor Dining Until Next Year

When exactly will you have had enough?

I agree with Pamela about everything including her disapproval of DeBlasio but there is one thing I disagree with. His policy of indoor dining not being allowed is not tyrannical. He doesn’t want people to get sick.

Riiiiight!! But it was ok to put people sick with China virus into nursing homes and killing 11,000 of them! He went along with the governor, even though Mercy ship and 2 other huge hospitals had been set up to take those patients!! The Mercy wasn’t used, nor were the 2 huge temp hospitals!! Instead, 11,000 dear elderly, who have more wisdom among them than the rest of the entire country, were killed with the virus!! DeBlasio is a brainless madman!!
