And much of the mainstream media says nothing. The mainstream media will only report on these terror attacks when the tiny Jewish state defends itself against Hamas. And that is when they will victimize Hamas and condemn Israel. By the way, it is not an accident that their has been a spike in these balloon attacks since Naftali Bennett was replaced by Benny Gantz as Israel’s defense minister. Hamas knows weakness when they see it.

Incendiary, explosive balloons from Gaza continue to hit southern Israel
The Sons of Al-Zawari balloon unit warned that they would be “beginning a new battle” on Wednesday morning in response to airstrikes conducted by the IDF in Gaza.

Balloon units in the Gaza Strip warned on Wednesday that they would continue launches of incendiary and explosive balloons in response to IDF strikes against terror infrastructure in the Strip on Tuesday night, as Israeli officials warned of a forceful response to the launches.
The Sons of Al-Zawari balloon unit warned in a reportedly direct Telegram channel that they would be “beginning a new battle” on Wednesday morning in response to airstrikes conducted by the IDF in Gaza. Other balloon units echoed the statement, saying that they “are not afraid of [Israel’s] threats or planes.”
Many of the statements by the balloon units in recent days have referred to the launches as the “Battle of the Lion’s Roar.”On Wednesday, at least eight fires were reported in southern Israel in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council and near Sderot. It is still unclear whether the fires were caused by incendiary balloons.
A large fire was reported between Kibbutz Or HaNer and Sderot. A large number of firefighters and security forces were present at the scene. Police closed a number of roads nearby, according to KAN news.

An incendiary balloon landed in the yard of a house in one of the towns in the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council and was extinguished immediately. No injuries or damage were caused.
An explosive balloon landed in a Border Police base in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council on Wednesday and was neutralized by a sapper, according to Ynet.

This seems to be an offshoot of the growing tensions with Iran. Hamas is funded by Iran. Trump / Pompeo are renewing and enforcing stronger sanctions on Iran at the UN. Iran is mobilizing every terrorist group that they control, to make them cause as much trouble as possible. Iran also grabbed an oil tanker near Hormuz yesterday. Iran will lose thousands of missiles in Beirut if the port inspectors clean out those ammo dumps. Iran / Hezbollah need those missiles to threaten Israel.

Do you seriously believe islamic terrorism will cease if you take out Iran? Or Hamas for that matter? Islamic terrorism won’t stop as long as islum exists and it will only be getting worse as the muslums increasingly subvert/co-opt/infiltrate the judiciary, legislature and law enforcement of the rotten, corrupt, degenerate atheist West. You delusions that only a tiny minority of muslums are the problem is just that.

Russia gives Syria weapons, and Israel blows them up. This makes air-strikes on Iranian assets easier, and weakens Iran’s control of Syria. It also wrecks Russian sales of air defense equipment, because the equipment doesn’t’ work.

IIRC balloons were used in the US civil war for reconnaissance and I think in Europe in the 19th century but cannot remember when or by whom.

It’s unfortunate that we can’t lock away criminally insane people in mental hospital prisons permanently anymore…it would reduce the number of people doing crazy nonsense like this.

They are not insane. They are indoctrinated ideological fanatics. Insanity is a genuine medical excuse, but islam is NOT an illness. This is a very important point in western law as it means that every time they kill you are giving them an excuse to avoid correct punishment just like the MSM try to do.
