When Dawkins first sought a circuit court seat in 2004, a battle erupted between Democrats and Republicans. Dawkins withdrew his name after the Republican-controlled House of Delegates refused to back him, and then-Gov. Mark R. Warner (D) selected another candidate almost two years later.
Dawkins vied for the Circuit Court again when another chance emerged, this time facing strong competition from Alexandria District Court Judge Becky Moore. The two candidates drew almost equal support from the 300-member Alexandria Bar Association.
“It was a long, arduous thing, but ultimately Judge Dawkins’s qualifications won out,” said Del. Brian J. Moran of Alexandria, a member of the Courts of Justice Committee and chairman of the House Democratic Caucus. “This was our second try.” Moran said Dawkins’s appointment was delayed twice “because of partisan politics.”

Ibrahim Bouaichi, 33, was indicted last year on charges of rape, strangulation, and abduction of , who testified against him in Alexandria District Court in December.
Bouaichi was released April 9 on a $25,000 bond after his lawyers argued the pandemic posed a threat to Bouaichi’s safety. More than three months after his release, Bouaichi tracked down Gonzalez and fatally shot her on July 29.
Circuit Court Judge Nolan Dawkins released Bouaichi…….
on the condition that he only leave his Maryland home to meet with his lawyers or pretrial services officials.
On Wednesday, authorities said federal marshals and Alexandria police spotted and pursued Bouaichi in Prince George’s County, where he crashed his vehicle and shot himself
Judge Dawkins retired in June. He did not respond to The Washington Post’s request for comment. Judges are often prohibited from commenting on pending cases. Bouaichi’s attorneys, Manuel Leiva and Frank Salvato said in a statement that they were “certainly saddened by the tragedy both families have suffered here.”
The lawyers said they “were looking forward to trial. Unfortunately, the pandemic continued the trial date by several months and we didn’t get the chance to put forth our case.”
Police said the woman was a native of Venezuela and did not have family in this country. The Washington Post reported that very little information about her was available. The Associated Press does not identify persons who may have been sexually assaulted.

He could have doctors other than Fauci explain to people that these masks do nothing to stop the spread of viral diseases and by attempting to stop it we are only prolonging it and interfering with nature’s way of controlling it, which is by herd immunity. Instead he has chosen to ignore the governors’ suspension of the Bill of Rights leaving us all under house arrest. People are finally seeing what has been going on baby step by baby step for the past 40 years or more.

In order to take up arms, citizens need to quietly organize into vigilantes of a sort. Without this form of organization there will not be any response to the evil now gripping the United States.

A nationwide revival/reformation of true Christianity is needed desperately. This is God’s intention, but great judgment has already begun in this nation due to the extreme wickedness in the antichrist govt. and among many Americans that support these antichrist leaders. These evil laws must be changed, the court disobeyed and God obeyed. I am not 100% sure about this but I do not think that judges can be held liable for the consequences of their decisions. I think they have immunity. This is nothing new!
The only way to deal with this is by vigilante, or Godfather style justice.
