Boycott the Jews (BDS) Epic Fail: UAE officially scraps economic boycott of Israel in new step towards normal ties

“Israel’s Channel 13 TV said bilateral trade could initially be worth $4 billion a year, a figure it said could soon be tripled or quadrupled.” Many more Muslim majority countries will follow the UAE, once they see the benefits of normalized relations with the Jewish state. What must the neo-Nazis in the Palestinian Authority be thinking?

UAE Scraps Israel Boycott in New Step Towards Normal Ties

By Algemeiner, August 30, 2020

The president of the United Arab Emirates scrapped an economic boycott against Israel, allowing trade and financial agreements between the countries in another key step towards normal ties, the UAE’s state news agency reported on Saturday.

Israel and the UAE said on Aug. 13 they would normalize diplomatic relations in a deal brokered by US President Donald Trump that reshapes the order of Middle East politics from the Palestinian issue to the fight against Iran.

President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a decree abolishing a boycott law as part of “the UAE’s efforts to expand diplomatic and commercial cooperation with Israel, leading to bilateral relations by stimulating economic growth and promoting technological innovation,” the WAM news agency said.

The announcement came as Israeli flag carrier El Al Israel Airlines Ltd <ELAL.TA> prepared to operate the country’s first direct flight between Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport and the UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi.

An Israeli government delegation and top aides to Trump, including his senior adviser Jared Kushner, are due to travel on the flight on Aug. 31, a US official said.

Before the Aug. 13 deal can be officially signed, details must be agreed on issues such as the opening of embassies, trade and travel links.

Israel’s Channel 13 TV said bilateral trade could initially be worth $4 billion a year, a figure it said could soon be tripled or quadrupled. Government officials did not immediately confirm that estimate.

Israeli Agriculture Minister Alon Schuster said Israel was working on potential joint projects that could help improve the oil-rich Gulf nation’s food security, such as water desalination and crop cultivation in the desert.

“With their money and our experience, we could go a long way,” he told Tel Aviv radio station 102 FM in an interview on Friday.

Officials from the two countries recently said they were looking at cooperation in defense, medicine, tourism and technology.

The decree announced on Saturday means UAE citizens and businesses will be free to do business with Israel.

“Officials from the two countries recently said they were looking at cooperation in defense, medicine, tourism and technology.”
Cooperation in defense? With muslum states? Bwahahahahahahahahaha, what kind of IDIOT would put any trust in that cooperation?
Do you think it’s a wise idea for Israel to share its technology with totalitarian, theocratic, judenrein muslum states? Do you think these f’ing muslum bastages are going to allow for the construction of synagogues in their muslum religious apartheid states?
This is going to be a one-way street of influence and it’s not going to be Israel influencing muslum petrocracies.

Look we all know how this will work…Israel will invent, create, produce and the other middle east countries will buy and use and abuse everything they can get their hands on.

I prayerfully agree…. but more importantly are the Jews in America going to vote for the President this time or are they still ‘married’ too the Democratic party so tightly that they will not vote Republican? So, I say, it is up to them how they want to be treated….

Dorrie, thank you for the excellent article. I have been looking for an article like this.
This was my comment to the article.

Agree 100%… but addressing your final statement: “It’s time to squarely look at the history of the Jewish obsession with the Democrat Party, make the final Exodus, and kiss the new Democrat Party goodbye.” Will they? Or will they shoot themselves in the foot yet again?

This still remains to be seen. I don’t know what it is that ties people to that old party that no longer exists. We have the same problem in our Long time and olde time Catholics. They just cannot seem to ‘let go.’ Some will. Some will not. And we all suffer. I don’t like to say we all get what we deserve, but if someone insists on deliberately shooting themselves in the foot, well, the deserve the pain. It saddens me, as one who has sided with Israel; a Catholic that believes that salvation comes from the Jews and I have worn a Jewish/American flag pin for years. But what else is there to say!
