Biden Suggests Diversity Of Thought Doesn’t Exist In The African American Community

By Sara Carter, August 6, 2020

Story continues below advertisement

While he’s inching closer to accepting the Democratic nomination for the Presidential race in 2020, Former Vice President Joe Biden has been doing what appears to be more media appearances, but they’re not necessarily gaffe or cringe free.

That was the case in an interview Biden did this week with Yahoo News in which he suggested that the African American community lacks a diversity of thought.

“What you all know, but most people don’t know,” Biden said. “Unlike the African American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”

Biden made the statement in response to a question as to whether he’ll “reengage” with Cuba and how he’ll address the concerns with the Latino community in America.

It’s not the first time Biden has made racially insensitive comments. During an earlier appearance on “The Breakfast Club,” Biden told Black listeners that if they don’t vote for him then “you ain’t Black.”

Just imagine what would happen to Trump if he said what this racist knucklehead just said!

I cannot count the number of times that I (as a black man) have been compelled to challenge the same racist views posted by others on numerous websites-including this one.

Biden’s last patently inane and woefully condescending racist remark (suggesting that I am not black unless I voted for him)-which I would never do under any circumstances-made my blood pressure go up.

This time, however, since I’ve addressed that kind of rank racist stupidity, so often, I simply consider him to be as he’s always been-just as ignorant, stupid and completely clueless as other white people who believe as he does.

I do, indeed. That is why (when I recognized it in my early 20s), I fled the plantation and never looked back. That was more than 45 years ago. Thank God!

Well, boohoo, ‘bob’.
Your last sentence is more ‘racist’ than ‘other white people’ could be on their worst day.

“I simply consider him to be as he’s always been-just as ignorant, stupid and completely clueless as other white people who believe as he does.”

You mean that statement, correct? Thank you for stepping up and openly proving my point.

Incidentally, the fact that you flunked ‘Reading Comprehension 101’ does not make me a racist.

But it does demonstrate how ignorant you are; since you cannot make the distinction between ALL white people (which I never said) and ‘other white people who believe as Biden does.’ Which, obviously, includes yourself.

Point made. I’m done.

I agree with you that his remark about “You ain’t Black” is racist but his current remark about the lack of diversity of thought is not. It is a reflection of Black voting patterns over the past 70 years. And as a Black woman it certainly has been consistent with my experience with attempting to express conservative viewpoints among Blacks.

Would you look at my post above about commercials pushing mixed race couples? I would like your opinion.

Agreed. Biden showed the entire world his deep-seated racist thought patterns when he tried to play up the sexual harassment claims of Anita Hill during SC Justice Clarence Thomas’ confirmation hearing, a nod to the supposed sexual prowess of blacks.

Good for you.
I would like to ask you a question. Have you or anyone else noticed how 80% of every couple in a commercial is now a mixed race couple?

The first time I saw one was when Obama was running for President.

The Left advertising companies would have people believe that there are more mixed race couples than not. Is this some kind of social conditioning? And, statically is false. Why are they going out of their way to do that?

If I was a Black woman and commercials are pushing for Black men to marry White women….I’d be irate. Especially since generations of Black children have lived in families of Black mothers, grandmothers, and aunts….Fatherless homes.

In my opinion, this is blatant racism. Just asking for a view from you and others.

I’ve been a military wife and the base housing is the most incredible blending of all kinds of races…..very diverse. And we ALL got along and felt bonded.

For more than 48 years as a pastor (now retired), I’ve dealt with the issue of interracial marriage from a biblical perspective-even with my own daughters who I taught very early to judge who they date based upon their love for God, whether the boys are saved or not and growing in the Christian faith.

That is the only litmus test for true believers in Christ as it relates to who they date or marry.

So, despite the truth you shared about ‘social conditioning’ on the part of Leftists in tailoring commercials to persuade the masses accordingly, I am not nearly as concerned as you are.

There are no biblical prohibitions for interracial marriage. Only religious beliefs.

I am, however, deeply concerned about the same type of media manipulation you alluded to-but of a different type-as it relates to their blatant attempts to normalize the homosexual lifestyle and ‘same-sex marriage.’

No ethnic group has suffered the irreparable harm and consequences from the scourge of homosexuality than blacks.

The black family is, already, virtually extinct.

Absentee fathers in the home is a plague upon the black community as well as the entire nation.

Disproportionately high crime rates, within and outside our communities, make that point crystal clear.

The last thing we need is for sexual perversion to run rampant throughout our ranks further diminishing and destroying the black family unit and, by extension, America as a nation.
Marriage was God’s idea. Therefore, He (alone) has the right to define it.

There is no such thing, in the sight of God, as ‘same-sex marriage.’

He created marriage as a divine and sacred institution (covenant) uniting one man with one woman for the purpose of human procreation.

Any other kind of sexual activity is an abomination in His eyes.

The very sex act, itself, is holy which explains why marriage is referred to as Holy Matrimony.

The fact that our culture has become so secularized that it has abandoned the normal and natural God-ordained purpose for sex, in exchange for the satanically-inspired model, poses grave consequences for the future of our nation.

God will hold us accountable, as He has every other civilization before us that undermined and defiled the first institution of His creation: marriage/family.

“If pointing out that FACT is racist, make the best of it you black clown!”

When and where did I do that? Be specific.

And ‘black clown?’ Where did that come from?

What have I ever said, or done, to you to cause you to say that about me?

And ‘when did I deny that ‘The vast majority, 80% or more, of violent street crime is perpetrated by black males, who are just 6% of the population, if pointing out that FACTUAL statistic is racist according to you, then go F your black self!’

And telling me to ‘go F your black self?’ Really?

Were you raised that way or did something happen to you to make you like that?

I never, directly, even made a comment to you. Yet you come at me, a total stranger, like that?

It is clear to me that your seething, deep and dark racial hatred is eating you up inside: I can hear it and see it in your posts.

I pray that you will repent of that sinful hatred in your heart, turn to Jesus for salvation, before it’s too late.

Hell is not the place you want to spend eternity. I love you enough to tell you that.

I am not so sure that this is a racist remark.

Obama supposedly captured 90% of the Black vote and for 70 years the Black population has consistently voted for the Democrat and or the Black person. As a part Black I have always feared speaking my mind and have been accused of being whatever offensive term Blacks have for me. Why? Because I hold conservative viewpoints.

Biden is actually correct on this one! There is almost no diversity of thought among the Black masses. Why is Clarence Thomas so reviled? What about the heat taken by Candice Owens? What about Allen West?

OMG of course, I forgot to add Dr. Sowell.
I love these quotes they are outstanding.

I have been to the Republic of South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania and Rwanda and rest assured I fully agree with Ali about getting on that boat. It is just too bad that so many AAs don’t realize that their ancestors were enslaved in Africa and sold by other Africans to the Arabs who then sold them to the Europeans. They have no idea how bad life is in Africa and how lucky they are to be here. Tons of Africans would love to come to the USA.

If you like Dr. Sowell….you most definitely should get Carol Swain’s books. A highly educated Black woman….who -like you- thinks outside of the box. When I heard her speak on Fox I was spellbound…just like Sowell.

‘There is almost no diversity of thought among the Black masses.’ That is not what he said.

As a matter of fact, he verified and confirmed his racist beliefs that if blacks didn’t vote for him we are not black, by making this particular, unsolicited remark.

If one had any doubt about what was in his heart, by the first comment he made, he left no doubt by sharing his deeply-held beliefs with this race-based diatribe.

Had he (actually) said what you did, I would not have considered his comment to be racist at all. It would have been truthful, as yours happens to be (and I, sadly, must agree).

Thanks for sharing your thoughts IamBob but although those may not have been his exact words that was the overall meaning of what he said. And yes I agree that it is racist insofar as it attributes a single characteristic to an entire group of people but it is also true that there is little diversity of thought among Black folk, or at least those of us who have different opinions are terrified of expressing them.

Refresh my memory, what were his exact words?

“What you all know, but most people don’t know,” Biden said. “Unlike the African American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”

So, admittedly, he did say, ‘with notable exceptions.’

But his previous comment (along with many others he’s made over at least 4 decades) informs this latest one and provides even more insight into the racist views which are in his heart.

Jesus said, ‘Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.’ Matthew 12: 34 and also Proverbs 4: 23 and 10: 11

We’re on the same page, however, and it’s always good to hear someone else, who happens to be black, shares my conservative views (even if we, sometimes, differ on some of the details). God bless you.

God Bless you too.
And let me clarify. I DO believe that Biden is a racist who is trying desperately to convince himself that he is not since it has gone out of fashion. It was only that one statement that I was not quite sure about but overall we are on the same page. First he made that statement about Obama who would have been serving at the White House had this been years ago and I guess more recently it was his statements about the little Black children at the pool playing with the blond hair on his legs. Nauseating!

But what bothers me now is that so many of these self proclaimed Black leaders are pushing so much raw hatred toward Trump that many Blacks will vote for Biden because it is NOT Trump. My own brother has copped an attitude toward me because I have not fallen for the Orange Man Bad meme. My best friend since 7th grade told me that she cannot understand why any Black person would not hate Trump. Ever since the CV 19 stuff came about the world has gone crazy and people who I have known all my life and whom I loved and thought they loved me seem to hate me now because I do not hate Trump. Go figure.

Trust me when I tell you I understand. I am going through, exactly, what you are.

While I dislike Trump’s personality, his arrogance and self-adulation, his overall record of achievements (too numerous to enumerate) speak for themselves. Unbelievable what he’s done in 4 years time.

And what he has accomplished for black people is amazing.

Obama/Biden couldn’t do nearly as much for black people, in two terms, as Trump did in 3 years.

This is a witness to the belief that if you say something loud enough and long enough it will actually be true.
Worse still, you cannot say if this is actually a Biden belief or one by his handlers that he is just repeating.

Why is anyone surprised at what Biteme said?
He already told the Blacks that they aren’t allowed to leave the “voting plantation” of the Dems…..
….”if you don’t for me…..then you ain’t Black”
Wasn’t that his dog whistle to all Blacks that they are owned by the Dems and they dare not leave the plantation?

Biden’s racist drivel reemphasizes the base bigoted worldview of the Democratic Party. A Party that holds the same discriminatory view of Blacks as it did copious decades ago. Indeed, as mentioned, if Trump were to utter such a prejudicial statement the proverbial, you know what would hit the fan. Honestly, Joe Biden doesn’t understand what diversity means, nor does his Party and tag along, racist minions.

The Democratic KKK Party has deceived, exploited Black America, deeming them only useful when it comes to the vote. Yet, this racist blather from the lips of a wannabe president remains ignored by the self-righteous, fake news providers of the MSM.
