Tahir Ahmad Naseem, 47, was shot dead in a courthouse in a high-security zone in Peshawar on Wednesday. He had been facing trial for blasphemy since 2018. The killer, identified as Khalid Khan, entered the court of Additional Session Judge Shaukatullah Khan and shot Naseem six times in the middle of the proceedings.

The Ahmadis suffer persecution, oppression and slaughter at the hands of Muslims in so many Muslim countries because they attempted to reform/reinterpret jihad and Islam (claiming it to be “peaceful”). That’s bad enough. But the Ahmadis attack me for my defense of their rights. And it’s not just Zafar: Qasim Rashid carries water for his oppressors and furthers the Islamic supremacist war against freedom of speech. He also whitewashes the Qur’an’s justification for domestic abuse.
Man accused of blasphemy In Pakistan shot dead at court

A man on trial for blasphemy in Pakistan has been shot dead in court.
Tahir Ahmad Naseem, who allegedly claimed to be a prophet, was shot six times during a hearing in Pakistani city of Peshawar. According to reports the shooter admitted the killing, saying that he shot Naseem for committing blasphemy, and was arrested at the scene. Naseem had been in police custody since 2018 when he was accused of committing blasphemy by claiming to be a prophet.
Naseem was accused under sections 295-A, 295-B and 295-C of the Pakistani penal code. Offences under the final section carry a mandatory death penalty.
Although no one been executed under Pakistan’s blasphemy laws yet, extrajudicial murders and mob violence have become increasingly common in recent years.
Nasir Saeed, Director CLAAS-UK expressed his grave concern over the killing of Naseem and said: “This is a dangerous practice as more and more people are willing to take the law into their own hands and kill the accused blasphemer.
“It is a failure of the police who failed to protect the victims, and we have dozens of examples where people accused of blasphemy were killed extrajudicially.
“I remember the case of brothers Rashid and Sajid from Faisalabad were shot dead in 2010 as they left a local courthouse, handcuffed. The two had been accused under the ‘black law’ but were on their way to being acquitted.
“Fanish, Samuel and Nazir Masih are a few among those who were killed in the jails, while Shahbaz, Shama and Shahzad were burnt alive.
“Human rights defender Rashid Ur Rehman was killed in his office and university student Mishaal was killed by vigilantes.
“Two high profile ministers, Salman Taseer and Shahbaz Bhatti, were killed in broad daylight, but perhaps this is the first time when someone has been killed in the courtroom during the court hearing.
“Last week, the provincial assembly in Punjab, Pakistan’s most populous province, passed a controversial law on religious issues, giving wide-ranging powers to the government to censor and ban any published blasphemous material.
“I also remember the statement of Pakistan’s Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Khan, who said that beheading is the only punishment for those who mock the Prophet Muhammad.
“Such statements from politicians encourage people to take the law into their own hands, despite there being courts and judges to determine whether blasphemy has been committed, and to punish them accordingly.
“The Government must bring this matter to parliament, discuss its widespread misuse and bring changes where necessary. Due process and justice is every citizen’s right and no one should be allowed to kill and terrorise others in broad daylight while we have competent judge in our courts.”

Will we be monitoring the flow flow of any aide down to the last $100 where it goes and how it’s spent and who receives it and is it really being used for the purpose for which it’s intended? While Hezbollah is guaranteed 20% representation in any Lebanese Government I’d double down on the audit teams and have serious reservations.. Why does Hezbollah have an automatic 20% representation?

Jack: Good points, and Trump / Pompeo are doing things differently. They just start with zero money. And to get $1, Lebanon MUST dump ALL Hezbollah from government. Right now the majority of ministers are Hezbollah-linked. And that should be zero, they are terrorists. Lebanon DOES have peaceful Shia Muslims, and they do have political parties. The biggest one is the Amal [rose] party. Fine, they can be in government, but no politicos can have terrorist links. And the banks must stop handling terrorist money.
And if Lebanon drops all its government-linked terrorism, Trump / Pompeo will drop the sanctions and economic measures that are crashing the Lebanon economy.

Trump Announces Snap-Back Today

Today in a press conference, Trump announced that the US plans to reimpose sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran. “Today I’m directing the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to notify the UN Security Council that the United States intends to restore virtually all of the previously suspended United Nations sanctions on Iran… It’s a snap-back, not uncommon,” Trump said. Pompeo will meet diplomats at the UN tomorrow, and the US Ambassador to the UN Kelly Craft, is lobbying hard to get all UN Security council members to vote smoothy in support of the US initiative. If they don’t, Trump / Pompeo can force a vote in the USA favor.
Trump criticized the Obama administration’s Iran nuclear deal, and said that Iran would never be permitted to have a nuclear weapon. “My administration will not allow this Iran nuclear situation to go on. They will never have a nuclear weapon.”
Iran already has enough enriched uranium to make a nuke, but they have not yet made one, and their nuke-capable missiles are still only short and medium range. They are no longer denying their intentions. Israeli spies grabbed documents that show Iran wants at least six nukes on missiles before they go public.

David: Yes, N. Korea has more bomb-grade uranium ready, and they have a few workable, tested bomb designs. However, they are even more impoverished that Iran, and sanctions have worked well to slow them down.
Importantly, the Norks do not export terror very much, but Iran is VERY bellicose. Those Saudi refineries that were hit a couple of years ago were certainly attacked by missiles from Iran, the UN agrees on that.
So the sanctions on Iran must be at least as tough as the sanctions on North Korea. Thus, the “snap-back” by Trump / Pompeo.

David: Yes, the ‘prog’ is misinformed, mostly by limited MSM coverage of these issues. Trump slapped MASSIVE sanctions on the Norks years ago, and he has effectively squeezed down the economy and the military. No money = no bombs. The MSM ignored this. There is some sanctions cheating by Russia, China, and Iran, but not much.
And this exlains why Trump is waiting, because the Norks shrink more every day. And as they shrink, the tyrant government loses power, and becomes increasingly desperate. And that’s good.

I agree. As we saw at the Natanz ‘accident’, the destruction of above-ground structures is enough to disable the buried structures. And if they blow up the entrances, people cannot go in or go out. They are trapped inside.
Israel has big bunker buster bombs that they got from the USA. Iran’s air defenses don’t work, they are too old, and even new Russian equipment cannot stop Israeli attacks on Syria. SO, they won’t work in Iran either. This means that even an Israeli Hercules aircraft could carry bunker busters to target.
Furthermore, Israel has ICBMs that can be conventionally armed and used to blow huge holes in the ground, just from huge kinetic energy.

This should be shared as part of the campaign against the demorats ( rats key word) as many Americans don’t know what democrats stand for which seems to be mob rule , talk back you die attitude from its protesters who are Antifa and looting, burning businesses down and making life police free a dangerous apocalyptic reality for people living there . Feminists make poor rioters, they are afraid to lose their pussy hats. LBGTs are worse, they show up to meet dates. Asians only show up if there are dragon costumes and fire crackers. Hispanics have lost interest, and like having good jobs, and not so many illegals to compete with. Basement pajama boys and girls do a bit of Antifa, for pay, but they run away if tough guys show up. That leaves blacks, who used to be much better, but now they like having jobs, and rioting no longer fits their career goals. But Muslims can always be relied upon to blow things up.
