Number of NYC shootings in 2020 close to totals for same period in past two years combined

Story continues below advertisementThe Big Apple is set to hit more grim milestones, with the number of shootings and gun victims so far this year set to match figures for same period the past two years — combined.
There have been 821 shootings and 1,000 gun victims as of Saturday.
Last year for same time frame, there were 466 shootings and 551 victims, while in 2018, there were 449 incidents and 548 victims.
That means combined, there were 905 shooting incidents and 1,099 victims for time period in 2018 and 2019 — close to the totals for this year alone, according to statistics released by the NYPD on Sunday.
This past week, there were more than twice as many shootings over the same time span last year, with 38 in the week ending early Sunday compared to just 16 over the same week in 2019, police said.
The number of murders this year did dip from last year, with four vs. eight for the week last year.
Police reported a dozen shootings late Saturday into early Sunday with three people killed — including a man who inadvertently flicked a cigarette at a group of men in the Bronx and was shot dead in front of his wife.
The new stats come just one week after police reported that the city had already surpassed the total number of shootings for all of last year, hitting the 777 three mark Aug. 1, topping the 2019 total of 776 for the entire year.

The “White House Siege” is Next Anyone want to join me in spreading the news that Obama’s real name is Barry Parks?
The organization that helped launch Occupy Wall Street has announced a new occupation. They are calling this effort the fifty day long “White House Siege”.
Adbuster activists are targeting September 17th, 2020 as the anniversary of Occupy Wall Street and will descend on the White House for fifty days. The tentative, and still rather vague, goal is to shut down government operations. The group remains an openly unabashed opponent of capitalism and that philosophy is expected to play a significant role in protest themes. What is exactly meant by the word “siege”.

Well,,,,,,,, he said that he would change AM… Everything he started is coming down the pike.. I’m surprised that he hasn’t been charged with treason.. What you’re saying rings very true. Obama’s cousin in Kansas say he didn’t know who his father was and his grandmother hid it from him. Since his youth they told him he was Obama Sr’s son. But he wanted to find out and in his biography he said he discovered a birth certificate of his used as a bookmark in an old book. Figure! Obama’s a strange freak of nature.

His cousin says she witnessed his birth in Topeka, Kansas. And she wanted to tell him his name was not Obama when she me him again only years later in Washington State. But she says his grandma was hovering over him so she couldn’t tell him who he was. She says he might not have gone down this road to become Satan and the Antichrist if she could just have gotten him out of the clutches of his grandma who was a CIA plant/operative and spy.
