I live in the UK on the Surrey fringes of London and I totally agree with you. British policemen became known as Bobbies in memory of the founder of the modern British police force Sir Robert (“Bob”) Peel. My hackles rose and I could see the rot going to set in from the moment Tony Bliar changed the name from Force to Service and history has verified the truth of my trepidation. The old police force has been emasculated until they are in large part a bunch of pansies only capable of enforcing the rules against so called ‘hate speech’ online and acting as glorified marshals for Gay Pride and BLM Marxist parades and bending the knee to rioting minority mobs.
