NFL Announces ‘Black National Anthem’ Will Be Played Before Games
America has two national anthems.
You learn something new every day when being re-educated by leftists.
We can thank the National Football League, which has given the anti-police leftist group Black Lives Matter its full endorsement, for this new nugget of information.
The NFL will play the song “Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing,” which apparently is known as the “black national anthem,” before every season-opening game this upcoming season, according to the league’s website.
Jason Reid of ESPN’s The Undefeated — its “platform for exploring the intersections of race, sports and culture” — broke the news Thursday. Citing a league source, Reid reported the black national anthem will be played prior to “The Star-Spangled Banner” before every Week 1 game.
With its newfound passion for advocacy, including pushing segregated national anthems on fans and donating $250 million to promote leftist social justice causes, the NFL hopes its actions and investments will result in having a more “educated” fan base.
Reid reported: “The league hopes its efforts demonstrate ‘a genuine commitment to the public, players and coaches and that player voices continue to be heard,’ the source wrote in a text message. ‘This is key to educating fans, and becoming a prominent voice in the fight to end racism.’”
The NFL.com report also said the league is “discussing with players the possibility of wearing helmet decals or jersey patches recognizing those impacted by systemic racism and police brutality throughout the 2020 season.”

I have never heard of a “black national anthem before!
Shouldn’t they have a Hispanic, Indian, Chinese etc. national anthem too?
This is becoming absurd! Why aren’t others races seeing this as racism?
We haven’t watch the NFL in years and have no plans to watch them now, so it won’t affect us. They are purposely destroying football. It’s very AMERICAN!

Who cares. It will be an interesting social experiment to see if the NFL can keep itself solvent with only a black audience.
I don’t care if they want to be pro-black, but pro-Marxist, I draw the line. They seem to be on a mission to alienate everyone except black people. If they want football to be segregated, well, that is their call. But 13% of the population isn’t going to pay 100% of their bloated salaries. And the ones who can afford football tickets is way less than 13% of the general population.

Who was the genius who came up with this idea? But wait, I am in favor of the idea, with limitations. Let the announcer, over the stadium microphone, state, “This is a long song, so you have five minutes to sing the Black National Anthem, a cappella.” I would pay good money to see how those who proposed this notion react at this moment.

They would be ostracized by so many people(including Goodell) and people would try to drive them out of the league. However, I’m sure the NFL will have a 2 minute break between the phony national anthem and the real National Anthem so black players can run and hide in the locker room if they won’t take a knee or stand. Imagine if the white players just didn’t come out of the locker room until the phony national anthem was over. Again, they would be ostracized. I won’t be watching.

When politics entered the NFL, I vowed not to see another game until that nonsense ended. Unfortunately they further caved to extreme elements in society by doubling down. They have crossed the proverbial Rubicon. And regardless of what they do to fix falling revenues which are sure to follow, I will never ever see another game in person, on TV, nor patronize any of their ‘woke’ sponsors….period. As far as I’m concerned the NFL is about as relevant as the long extinct dinosaurs.

I haven’t seen a professional sport game since the players went on strike all those years ago because the dip sticks mismanaged their money. Then the owners paid money to play golf with our muslim in chief really was the final straw. Screw all you sport teams no more bail outs for these scum bags let them eat cake. They can build their own stadiums and not benefit any longer from the tax payers.

Blacks can have their own anthem when they have their own nation or just go back to the dozens of African/black nations that already exist.
Ofc they don’t because black people generally suck at creating peaceful, wealthy, advanced free countries. That’s why Wakanda only exists in the movies.

Lincoln already tried that. He called together the Black leaders of that time and offered to buy a huge piece of land in Central America…they could form their own country, be free, and Lincoln even offered to pay for their relocation…..wanna guess what their answer was?
