This article reads like a nightmare so many levels… keep up mask world, masks in future for flu alone even, soon suspect flu shot will be mandatory, as the guy is pushing it or, you know, your life will be limited or maybe you lose your freedom…
We should wear masks, not with swastikas on them, but the big yellow Star of David without “Juden” on it to say “I’m a controlled fool of the authorities that can do what they want with me like in the 1940s.” Or maybe just a drawing on a flesh colored mask showing stifling hands apparently coming from behind covering a mouth where mine would be if the mask wasn’t on.
This isn’t about COVID, it’s about control.
The left is floating these repressive ideas we’ve never entertained before — for consideration and/or normalization.

Wednesday, during an ABC News Instagram live talk, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci said masks could also help stop the spread of the flu.
Fauci said, “The wearing of masks and other coverings as we just discussed, are going to not only protect against COVID-19 but also help protect us against influenza. So we may find a secondary benefit of the lessons that we’ve learned over the past six months.”
He continued, “We are encouraging people to get their flu vaccine. because if you have two circulating respiratory viruses that really confuses the situation.”

Speaking of police… since they have not been able to disarm us they are trying to not only demoralize police but also disarm them from using chemicals for crowd control. They want to ban police from using pepper spray, tear gas and other chemicals needed to disperse unruly, violent liberal protesters.
These “peaceful” protesters come at police with lasers – three policemen may be blinded for life – boards with nails sticking out, Molotov cocktails, bleach, bricks and many are armed etc. Can you imagine being told to stand down and take that with no defense? Leftist city and state leaders have abandoned rule of law in favor of supporting the mob effort to destroy our sense of unity. Political activists, left-wing ideologues under the guise of democrats, and a host of media allies are conducting an information war on behalf of their objective. Big tech social media companies are attempting to remove the voices of those who are fighting back.
There is a great deal of purposefully driven anxiety and fear amid our nation as this multi-faceted internal war takes place. However, there is a primary element to this effort that each person can shield themselves from, and act to counter. Do not let your sense of self succumb to this assault. Do not let them win the battle for your peace of mind.
It might, heck, -check that- it does seem overwhelming at times. But that is the nature of this collectivist strategy. That is the purpose of this bombardment. We must hold strong and push back against their lies and manipulations. If you look closely at their attack, it is weak and much of it is psychological bait. Do not fall into the trap of despair.
When I share the message “live your best life”, it is not without purpose. Every moment that we allow the onslaught to deter us from living our dreams, is a moment those who oppose our nation view as us taking a knee. Do not allow this effort to succeed.
You might ask yourself how can I, one person, a flea looking into a furnace, retain an optimistic disposition while all around me seems chaotic and mad.
That’s the point; it ‘seems’ chaotic and mad because it has been created to appear that way. There are more of us than them; they just control the systems that allow us to connect, share messages and recognize the scale of our assembly.
Every second that you live your life with thankfulness for the abundance within it; every moment that we CHOOSE to engage with fellowship; every day that we accept guidance from God – however you define him to be; and every moment we cherish this time to be a beacon of optimism; is a moment that we withstand that barrage and hold the flag in place. It is a genuinely patriotic position not to succumb to the attack.
If you allow yourself to be drawn into crisis and despair, you allow them to win. If your center of normal is based around this overwhelming onslaught, you will eventually concede liberty in favor of peace. Once we stop living in liberty, we no longer have peace.
It took me a while to fully understand just how damaging empty streets, soulless eyes, the lack of smiles, shuttered businesses and the absence of joy would become. But as I travel around trying to deliver a very specific message to a very specific audience, I now recognize just how much damage is being done; not just to our nation as a whole, but also to every individual within it – personally.
We must shake this mindset. We must withstand this onslaught and rally to the origin of our true national spirit. We must rally to a standard of Americanism and accept this is not that. In essence, we must individually take a stand. Purposefully, deliberately and with forethought, we must engage those around us to get rid of this sense of foreboding.
This approach is how we win the larger battle.

Inconvenient Facts Dept
The US Mortality Rate for Covid-19 is currently at 46 per 100,000 population (150,000)
The US Mortality Rate for Pneumonia & Influenza is 16 per 100,000 population (50,000 annually/avg)
As recently as 2000, The US Mortality Rate for Pneumonia & Influenza was 23.7 per 100,000 population (63,000). Over 90% of these deaths are attributed to Pneumonia.
Considering that all three are respiratory infections that all three impact primarily the elderly and people with comorbidity, it’s very likely that an undetermined percentage of Covid19-attributed deaths were actually the result of Pneumonia & Influenza. Given the constancy and saturation of Pneumonia & Influenza in the general population, it is impossible to determine with any degree of accuracy the cause of death.
Conclusion: An undetermined percentage of Covid19-attributed deaths may be misdiagnosed cases of Pneumonia & Influenza. Testing Covid-Positive is not empirical evidence that the person died of Covid19.

Wow what wishful thinking… Covid 19 does not JUST KILL ppl. Many many ppl are crippled and amputees because of Covid 19… That is extremely rare for influenza or pneumonia. Covid 19 has a hospitalization rate of around 20%. That is unheard of for influenza or pneumonia.

My post was a statement of fact that compared Covid19 mortality rate to the most common and deadly respiratory infections. I never diminished how serious Covid19 is or that it can result in serious long-term consequences for some survivors.
Regarding Covid19 causing amputations, how many is “many many”? The actor Nick Cordero who recently died of Covid had an amputation but unlike you, I took the time to research this. Covid patients are susceptible to clots and amputations have occurred but its still rare.
Finally, your 20% hospitalization rate is flat out wrong. That was an early projection which like all the early models was grossly incorrect. Once again I took the time to research it. According to the latest CDC web site data:
Cumulative COVID-19-associated hospitalization rates since March 1, 2020, are updated weekly. The overall cumulative COVID-19 hospitalization rate is 120.9 per 100,000 population.
Multiply 120.9 x 3,280. That translates to roughly 400,000 cumulative US hospitalizations due to Covid-19 which is 9% of 4,406,000 positive cases.
Unfortunately many Covid victims died in LTC facilities, not in hospitals. At least 45% of all deaths (67,500) are attributed to LTC facilities.
In summary, this virus is unprecedented in our lifetime but facts still matter. To-date, 82,500 people who were NOT LTC residents have died. Out of this group, a large percentage were over 65 and most had one or more comorbidities. Considering that there’s no vaccine or proven anti-viral treatment, its extraordinary that the Mortality Rate is not much higher. It’s also a testament to how incredible a job US hospitals have done to keep people alive.
Close to 50,000 American die annually from pneumonia so its likely that some Covid deaths were the result of pneumonia. In the midst of this medical crisis, determining an accurate cause of death in every Covid-positive case is unlikely.

I first saw the wearing of surgical type masks among the general public when stationed with the US Navy near Tokyo in ’69.
It was explained to me that it was a courtesy by those with symptoms of the common cold so to keep from infecting others.

DUE TO THE FACT THERE ARE NO CUSTOMERS IN THE PLACE, SHE GETS AWAY WITH IT NOW, IT OCCURRED TO ME TOO! THIS IS A REPUBLICAN AREA OF TOWN BUT THE EMPLOYEES NOW ALL LOOK LIKE democ-RATS WITH THAT CONSTANT LOOK OF DISAPPROVAL THAT I CAN SEE THEY HAVE FOR ME THROUGH THEIR MASKS!
THE REALLY ALMOST SUBLIMELY WEIRD MOMENT WAS WHEN THE DUDE WHO WALKED PAST ME WITHOUT A MASK SITTING BEHIND A PLASTIC SCREEN ACTUALLY SAID, “WE HAVE TO KEEP EVERYBODY SAFE” WHEN I MENTIONED THAT EVERYBODY WAS MORE THAN 6 FT AWAY FROM EVERYBODY ELSE AND STILL WORE A MASK WHO KNOW EACH OTHER AS HEALTHY COWORKERS WORKING THERE EVERY DAY! THE GUY HAD THIS LOOK ON HIS FACE LIKE OUT OF A ZOMBIE MOVIE WHEN HE SAID IT! AGAIN, THESE ARE SUPPOSEDLY COLLEGE EDUCATED PEOPLE TOO! SUPER SUMMER, RIGHTISTS!

what a crock of shi- none of this has ever mattered before all this nonsense – TB making a resurgence with more virulent strains – the regular flu killing more every year than this crap – and now all of a sudden wear the masks from here on out and if you have goggles or a face shield wear those – pretty soon it will be your very climatized all enclosed personal protective bubble –
