The 20-year-old son of a prominent New Jersey federal judge was shot dead and her husband was critically injured in an attack at their home Sunday evening, according to reports.
An unknown assailant disguised as a Federal Express delivery driver gunned down Judge Esther Salas’ 20-year-old son, Daniel Anderl, and shot her 63-year-old husband, Mark Anderl, at the North Brunswick home around 5 p.m., authorities told the New Jersey Globe.

A gunman dressed as a FedEx driver opens fire at the home of Judge Esther Salas.
The shooting occurred at the North Brunswick, N.J., home of Judge Esther Salas, a source told The Associated Press. The AP report, citing the state’s chief district judge, said the son, 20, was killed. NJ.com reported that the shooting occurred at about 5 p.m.
“The FBI is investigating a shooting at the home of Judge Salas. We are working with our local and state partners,” Doreen Holder, the public information officer for the bureau’s Newark office, told Fox News.
Her husband, defense lawyer Mark Anderl, 63, was injured, the AP reported. Salas was in the basement at the time and wasn’t injured, the report said.
The gunman posed as a delivery driver for FedEx, two sources told NJ.com. The report said that Salas, 51, was the first Hispanic female appointed to the U.S. District Court in New Jersey.
Daniel Anderl, a college student, was the judge’s only child, the AP reported.
A FedEx spokesperson said the company is “fully cooperating” with the investigation.

Salas’ highest-profile case in recent years was the financial fraud case involving “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reality TV stars Teresa and Joe Giudice, whom Salas sentenced to prison for crimes including bankruptcy fraud and tax evasion. Salas staggered their sentences so that one of them could be available to take care of their four children.
In an emailed statement provided to Fox News, Teresa Giudice’s attorney, James Leonard Jr., called the news “absolutely devastating.”
“Teresa was very shaken by the news and was very emotional when she heard about it,” Leonard wrote. “She told me that would be praying very heavily for Judge Salas and her family.”
In 2016, Salas sentenced a Crips gang member to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
In 2017, she barred federal prosecutors from seeking the death penalty against an alleged gang leader charged in several Newark slayings, ruling the man’s intellectual disability made him ineligible for capital punishment. Salas later sentenced the man to 45 years in prison, the AP reported.
Salas has presided over an ongoing lawsuit brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the company made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies and failed to monitor “high-risk” customers including convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A cut-out is a spy who knows no one, and nothing about why they are doing something. Example: a hit man gets a secret call to go shoot someone. A double cut-out is when the hit man gets killed too. Then it is even harder to figure out who hired the hit man.
“The individual suspected of shooting the husband and son of U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas on Sunday evening has been found dead of what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to law enforcement officials.” Yeah sure, he did it on a whim and then shot himself.

What garbage – from your link – I can only speak for Trump and not Barr. Espstein’s father was a family friend of A.G. Barr’s father. A.G. Barr knew Epstein. It was Barr’s father who helped him get a position as a teacher in an elite school with only a high school degree. This is where Espstein started making his contacts and money on sex slaves.
Trump is not a pedophile and never had to pay for sex.
Berman is a corrupt judge and Barr never seems to get results with his endless investigations and quickly declared Espstein’s death a “suicide” that others can’t agree with…..
Trump has nothing to do with Epstein. In fact, he banned Espstein from is resort when he caught wind of what Epstein was up to and assaulted a young girl there. People with money also went to Trump’s resort.

Jeffrey Epstein turned Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago into another of his hunting grounds for young girls, leading Trump to bar him from the Florida resort, court papers claim.
“Trump allegedly banned Epstein from his Maralago Club in West Palm Beach because Epstein sexually assaulted a girl at the club,” according to the papers, filed in the Sunshine State as part of an ongoing legal battle between Epstein and Bradley Edwards, who represented many of Epstein’s underage accusers in civil suits against him.
The filing is dated April 2011, well before Trump ascended to the presidency.
The same filing also cites an underage Jane Doe’s allegation that Epstein’s girlfriend-turned-pal Ghislane Maxwell recruited her at Mar-a-Lago to be the couple’s “sex slave.”
Trump has previously praised Epstein as a “terrific guy” and, according to the filing, Epstein once welcomed Trump aboard his private plane, hosted him in his Palm Beach home and had 14 phone numbers for Trump in a computer directory.
But the president on Tuesday distanced himself from the freshly arrested, convicted pedophile.
“I knew him like everybody in Palm Beach knew him,” Trump told reporters at the White House of Epstein during an appearance with Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. “I had a falling out a long time ago, I’d say maybe 15 years.
“I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you.”
Messages left for Edwards, as well as Epstein’s criminal lawyer, Reid Weingarten, were not immediately returned.

I guarantee you it is directly connected to Epstein. What the shooter didn’t realize is he or she didn’t have to do this. He or she could have bought them off. BOTH judges are corrupt. It is odd they lived in North Brunswick. That is not a good area.
Some background on Esther Salas. She is the product of a minority program and that is how she got her law degree. She did have a tough upbringing. Her dad left her mother and fled to Mexico so her mother had it tough and grew up on welfare. Union City NJ is a horrendous area. It’s totally trashed.

Obama nominated her on December 1, 2010, to a seat vacated by the retiring Katharine Sweeney Hayden. On June 14, 2011, the Senate confirmed Salas, making her the first Latina on the District Court of New Jersey.

You can not get more corrupt than being close to Senator Lautenberg (deceased) and Senator Menendez. She would always have fund raisers at her home for Senator Menendez. Menendez is so bad one of the leading NJ papers endorsed him with an apology. It stated, that yes he is not ideal but people had to vote for him over a Republican no matter what. Menendez pissed Obama off with his anger at Obama trying to normalize relations with Cuba. Menendez was guilty of bribery from Pharm companies and kickbacks from Medicare plus he even had illegals working on his staff and one was an illegal who was also a pedophile. It was a hung jury for Menendez and they didn’t retry him as they NORMALLY would for every day people…. NJ is totally corrupt and so are Esther and her husband.
Esther, being associated to two horribly corrupt DEM Senators and picked by Obama screams of being an incompetent minority liberal there to support his agenda. Obama only picks the worst of the worst. For example, Obama put Sonia Sotomayor on August 6, 2009 and Elena Kagan on August 5, 2010 to the U.S. Supreme Court. They consistently come down on the extreme liberal side.
She and her husband could easily have been bought off. Who ever did this didn’t have to murder her son and critically injure her husband UNLESS they want to send a message to others to view the Epstein case in a manner acceptable to some very powerful people…. and many high profile powerful people are involved in the Epstein case. Two serving Senators have been leaked out, without being named as people using Epstein’s services. Of course you have Bill, Hillary and even Chelsea Clinton made trips to Epstein’s orgy island. Bill has at least 26 documented visits there on the orgy express plane.
Having said all that, murdering her only son is very, very sad. Her husband is in stable condition. This murder wasn’t necessary for reasons already stated, but does send a message to anyone handling the Epstein case in any form.

Apparently the shooter was a bit deranged. He was a lawyer who would sue just about anybody for anything. He apparently had some interaction or interest in some of the judge’s cases.
Yes, we all immediately thought of the Clinton List and adding another two names, but not everything is a conspiracy.
Some have postulated that the judge is corrupt. Proof? Hopeful conjecture? How about following the facts and see what more turns up before jumping to conclusions based upon “feelings”. Leave the guessing games and wild-eyed theories to CNN.

The killer or the alleged killer of the husband and son of that judge committed suicide )allegedly?) and was found to have cancer. This is not uncommon in gangster circles. If the French Connection or the mafia want to kill a difficult target, they often get one of their thugs who is dying from cancer to kill this high profile target. Popeye D’oyle of French Connection fame was targeted by a mob member dying of cancer.
The mob member dying of cancer was killed in automobile accident on the way to assassinate Popeye D’oyle, however. A very lucky break for Popeye D’oyle. I think that French Connection bust was the largest heroin bust in history.
