Dem-Controlled Rochester Explodes: 13 Shot, 1 Stabbed; Cops Assaulted While Tending To 16-Year-Old Shot In Face

20

Horrific. 13 people shot over a weekend in a city of 200,000 is a huge number. This should not surprise anyone though. Rochester has not had a Republican mayor since 1973. This is a result. Out of control crime. Decade after decade. And with that an exodus of businesses from this once thriving city.

Dem-Controlled Rochester Explodes: 13 Shot, 1 Stabbed; Cops Assaulted While Tending To 16-Year-Old Shot In Face

By Daily Wire, July 6, 2020

Over the July 4 weekend, 13 people were shot and one person was stabbed in the City of Rochester, New York, where there is a population of roughly 206,000 residents. During the violent weekend, several police officers were assaulted as they rushed to tend to a 16-year-old shooting victim.

The terror in the Democrat-controlled area comes on the heels of a budget cut to the Rochester Police Department, effective July 1.

“A busy July 4th weekend for RPD, with 13 people shot at 10 different incidents from Friday through today,” News 8 WROC reported Sunday. “Five people have been arrested thus far and there have been no fatalities reported at this time.”

Rochester area reporter Scott Barstow said officers tending to a 16-year-old shooting victim on Saturday night were met by a group of about 25 people; at least two from the group assaulted the officers on scene.

“A 16-year-old was shot at least one time on Pennsylvania Avenue,” Barstow reported. “While investigating, officers were approached by a group of around 25 people. (unrelated to the shooting) two people assaulted the officers.”

Make sure the curriculum changes and Charter schools are not unionized or you get the same failed Marxist teachers there too! This allows the parents to really have a say on what is taught and who can be fired. As soon as unionized teachers have tenure, it is nearly impossible to get rid of them and they join the corrupt club.

It’s not about the money. Less money won’t change the curriculum. It’s the the conents of curriculum that needs to CHANGE asap! They are being indoctrinated to be godless Marxists, love Islam, hate Christianity and all our country stands for activists. Believe it or not they are more neutral on Judaism. It’s Christianity they really go after.

School choice also needs to be extended to ALL. No more pandering to just the “poor” people for school choice. It’s long over due that ALL parents are treated equally with options out of the failed indoctrination being offered.

Disagree. Turning off the money spigot is step one in flushing out all the dead weight in our schools.

Throwing Money at education will not change the curriculum! You have to CHANGE the CURRICULUM and end the indoctrination. You have no idea how bad this curriculum is. Throwing more money at education makes it worse. When teachers can’t teach hate they will retire or leave. The money thrown at schools enriches the teachers and not the kids. You are rewarding teachers plus leaving the root problem in place – the curriculum!

IF throwing more money at education as the answer, we’d have brilliant students. The opposite has happened because of the CURRICULUM being taught! We spend the most of any industrialized country and have the worst outcome from throwing money at education and ignoring the CONTENT of what is being taught!

You are right about curriculum. Many teachers don’t like communist core but it was developed by people like Gates, and forced on us.

Not every kid can get a spot in a charter or private school. Some charter schools are good but others are horrible. We need some fixes for public education. The kids in public schools will grow up to be voters, so we need to address who is teaching them and what they are taught.

The main problems faced by public schools, as I see it (and solutions):
1. Too many leftist teachers. This is a frequent complaint yet not taken seriously enough by the complainers to do anything about it. Still if this is a war for our culture, we have to fight it where it is. We went to Afghanistan to fight the war there. We didn’t go to Aruba to fight the war in
Afghanistan.
(Would it kill conservatives to apply for public school jobs, especially in urban schools? There are alternate track programs where you get in the classroom while getting a degree/licensure so full time college isn’t necessary, though you would already need a college degree of some kind. The most liberal districts don’t have a “liberal test”, so it wouldn’t be that hard to get hired; just don’t wear a MAGA hat to your interview.)

2. Federal Oversight. The Dept of Ed needs to go. It is subject to lobbying by people who do not have the best motives.
(Oversight of schools should be at state and local levels. Nobody in DC understands your district like people from your district. Yet again, conservatives need to be involved. Vote for school board members, or run for it yourself.)

3. Radical leftist curriculum. What is taught matters a lot, and if you think charters and private schools don’t also teach from Zinn, or teach that gender dysphoria is normal, you aren’t paying attention.
(Every district has textbook review committees. Find out what you need to do to get on it. Pay attention to what kids are doing. Every day, talk to your kid about what they learned today. Early on, get them used to talking to you if teachers tell them the opposite of what you teach them at home.)

4. School choice/vouchers. This sounds good, but we need to address some objections to disarm the lefties on this issue. Money is a huge objection. Funding goes to the choice school. The choice school that does not have to take all comers, and can expel kids. Which is rampant. Kids come back to public school but the funds to pay for their education do not.
(If this issue could be solved, it would remove the main objection to it. It’s not fair to pay a school to teach a kid when they are no longer attending. Either the pro-rated funding goes back with the kid mid-semester, or maybe the funding per semester can stay, but the kid has to as well. Have an understanding that kids will commit to at least a semester before they voluntarily withdraw, and schools can not expel a kid for the full semester either. Or send the funding back to public school when they are expelled.)

5. Lack of fair standards to evaluate schools, and too much standardized testing. Kids are constantly taking standardized “high stakes” tests, or practicing for them, instead of getting instruction. At public schools, kids with mild cognitive disabilities take the same tests as other kids, and then the low averages of ACT/standardized results are used to prove the school isn’t teaching kids. Private schools don’t even have special ed programs, and many of these kids could never pass the entrance exams. The current system is like deciding your dentist is incompetent because some of their patients get cavities.
(Cut back on high stakes testing. Stop lumping kids with fairly serious special needs in with other kids when looking at testing results. Look at different metrics to determine whether schools are succeeding. Fewer tests might help students take them seriously. Lots of kids click any answer just to get it over with. Two months ago they were tested at two grades below current grade, and now they test at pre-primer level. Did they forget how to read? No. The tests are not a realistic measure for many students.)

This is just the beginning. This is random wholesale cold blooded murder going on. Right now it is the boldest of the bold doing this. They are gambling they can get away with it. As the boldest get away with it. the less bold step up until you don’t even have to be bold to get away with it and you have total lawlessness. As defunding of police continues and they are ordered to stand down and watch, more murder and other crimes will go up accordingly. It is no coincidence this is in DEM cities and dominated areas. DEMS know this is wrong and they know the outcome of this. Indirectly this is their way of unseating Trump and other decent Republicans which there are very few of them left. The majority of the GOP is corrupt so they are quiet.

If you doubt me, explain why the GOP, who had a slim majority in Congress and the Senate didn’t get Trump’s entire agenda done. They could have, gotten it done. Ryan could have used his power to have them vote a certain way. Instead he didn’t, blocked subpoenas on justice being served to Hillary and others, ignored voting on bill Trump would have wanted passed and did nothing to stop record retirements in Congress giving the DEMS the majority in Congress. Now we have the same thing going on in the Senate. RHINOS are openly opposing Trump, forming PACS to give DEMS the majority in the Senate. The GOP only has a three seat majority in the Senate. Imagine the DEMS having control of Congress and the Senate and maybe a DEM President! In record time, you will not recognize our country.

If you don’t think they corrupt GOP can be successful with this, explain how people voted in DEMS to have the majority in Congress in the 2018 midterms. The economy was great etc. and the DEMS sailed through on a blue wave. Hate Trump or love him, vote for him and as always chose the lesser of the evil in those up for election in other positions. Joe’s goal is to complete Obama’s transformation so do your part. Don’t assume others will do it for you!

Vote Republican down ballot as well. If the Dems have the House AND Senate, Trump will be impeached in the first month, Pence in the second, and we’ll have our first female POTUS: President Nancy Pelosi.

Cuomo just approved $7m for the Buffalo’s African American Heritage Corridor. I thought his state had no money. Demanding our federal taxes to bail out his incompetence. Is this voter fraud, buying votes?

Nothing is as sad as what is taking place now in America ! Every day I have tears making it difficult to read about the crime, killings, corruption etc in the “greatest country in the world”. The right (that’s you, you and you) must stand up to the hateful left, the socialists and communists and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN !
