Torching Wendy's - Geller Report

All we need to know is the perpetrator grabbed a cop’s taser.
That means the cop shoots. Period.
That is protocol.
We have to protect cops or not have them.

That said, Rayshard Brooks did grab the taser and he tasered the cops – this is madness.

The MSM is putting a target ???? on every cop’s head.

Atlanta police units initially responded to a 911 call reporting a suspicious person at Wendy’s around 10:30 p.m. Friday. Officers found a man asleep in his car, parked in the drive-thru lane and blocking customers, according to GBI.

They reportedly conducted a sobriety test, but when they attempted to arrest the man, identified as 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks, a struggle ensued.

Deputy Chief Timothy Peek, with the Atlanta Police Department, described officers’ numerous attempts to deploy Tasers.

“Ultimately, when the officer used the Taser, it was ineffective for the suspect,” Peek said. “It did not stop the aggression of the fight.”

Peek added preliminary information shows Brooks was able to take an officer’s Taser from him and use it against the officers. (more here).

Rayshard Brooks was sleeping in a drive through, blocking drive through traffic at Wendy’s. Police were called and came, He failed his breathalyzer test. He resisted arrest. He grabbed a officer’s taser in a struggle, got free and took off. The police followed and caught up with him. Brooks was about to taser the police when a policeman shot him. Brooks was taken to the hospital and died of his injuries being operated on. That’s what I have read about it.

This will happen repeatedly because drunk thugs do irrational things when confronted by police officers. So the rioters, looters and demanders that we pay them “reparations” will have an endless source of “outrage” created by no one but themselves.

It will be interesting to see the toxicology report. An individual impervious to affects of being tased, only a few things can explain this… a physiological anomaly, hopped up on serious drugs, a seriously high tolerance to pain and the affects of being tased, a faulty taser or the taser not being deployed properly. A toxicology report will reveal whether the individual was simply simply drunk or high on some other substance.

My initial comment which you replied to dealt solely with my curiosity over the suspect being tased and still being able to be as combative as he was. Perhaps I misunderstood the context of your reply as it struck me as though you thought I was attempting to justify the suspects behavior because of his intoxication.

It is absolutely protocol. The taser is one of the cop’s weapons of last resort. That this drunken thug grabbed it — or even tried to — immediately put the police officer in mortal danger.

From what can be seen, from video, it doesn’t look as if this violent criminal was shot in the back. It appears as if it turns around and points a gunlike object, at which point it was shot.

He pointed and fired the Taser back at the pursuing cop that he forcefully took off an Officer’s Belt. What I see as wrong here….. 1. The Cops should NEVER have got into a wrestling Match with him. 2. He should have been Tasered beforehand and if that didn’t work …..3. He should have been shot multiple times in the legs and 4. When he did a runner – refer to number 3! The Police are to blame for turning the arrest into a gang-fuck but they were in the right to use lethal force. Who knows why he ran? If you watch all of the released video, body cam to Wendy’s security footage, a Taser was used on him twice. And, with no effect. A Taser (registered brand name) is very difficult to not use properly. As long as the individual is “hit” it automatically sends the juice.

I heard an acount of this incident on the radio, yesterday. The show’s host stated how he was simply sleeping in his car and asked why they rousted him. They neglected to state that it was in a drive-through lane blocking traffic. Then, they stated that no sobriety test was given, they simply attempted to place hand cuffs on him. At which point, having centuries of oppression and slavery, it struck him that he was being placed in chains by the white man. So, of course he objected and struggled.

You cannot make up this stuff.

They were trying hard not to shoot them precisely because of the current political environment but he left them no choice. A substance altered mind coupled with pure rage can override pain. Less than lethal does not always work.

I think people just want a return to Mayberry sort of policing. “Now Rashard, you can’t be drunk in a drive through. Walk home, you little ragamuffin and sleep it off.” The police don’t have the time to get to know people. They have to act as they feel is best and they don’t know who anyone is in a city of millions of people. They respond according to what behavior they are faced with. A taser:
*can be a lethal weapon
*can be mistaken for a handgun
*can incapacitate an officer when a perp can take his or her gun and execute him or her with it
