Sen. Tim Scott rips into the Democrats after GOP police reform effort fails in Senate

Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., ripped into Democrats Wednesday after the bill he authored on police reform failed in the Senate on a procedural vote, accusing Democrats of punting on the issue until after the election and abusing what he described as their “monopoly” on black voters.
“They cannot allow this party to be seen as a party that reaches out to all communities in this nation,” he said of congressional Democrats.
The procedural vote on whether to start debate was 55-45; it needed 60 votes in order to proceed. Republicans had 53 votes, but not enough Democrats joined them.
This effectively freezes police reform in Congress for now, even if the House approves its own measure on Thursday, despite a nationwide movement for reform since the death of George Floyd in police custody.
Democrats had objected to the bill not ending police chokeholds or qualified immunity for police officers.
But Scott emphasized what the bill did, including increasing requirements for use-of-force reports, a tracker on “no-knock” warrants and encouraging agencies to do away with chokeholds or lose federal funding.
“We were four [votes] short of saying yes, yes to having enough information to direct training and resources in such a way that we could hold people accountable,” he said. “We were four votes short of saying yes to having a powerful tool of pooling resources to compel behavior on chokeholds.”
He said that, if the bill had moved to the debate stage, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had agreed to allow debate on 20 amendments, and that Democrats could have gotten most of what they wanted.

Democrats had objected to the bill not ending police chokeholds or qualified immunity for police officers.
You have to allow choke holds when an officer’s life is threatened! When it’s abused then go after the cop and that will be a judgment call. if it was reasonable. I’d rather have the good cop alive than a criminal!
You have to let police have qualified immunity or no one will sign up for the job. Qualified immunity means that a public official can’t be sued for reasonable actions they take while acting in their official capacity. Otherwise they will have numerous lawsuits for harassment and liability lawsuits. As long as they are reasonable in how they conduct themselves they should not harassed through frivolous lawsuits. DEMS want to do away with that and have a circus of lawsuits based on frivolity. In other words, they want useless policing.
Police need to be able to react in a reasonable manner. If a person is mentally ill, and acting out, how would they know that and why aren’t other people who know the person watching out for them? You can’t blame the police for not having ESP. If you take away immunity when they acted reasonably, you won’t have anyone signing up for the job – and that is what DEMS really want!

So what did we do? We made him a hero just because he was black and had a terrible ending. His I Have a Dream speech is great but now it is turning out to be reverse racism.

Tim Scott says he knows what it’s like to have a clerk follow him around in a store (Sean Hannity virtuously signals: “That has got to STOP! Nobody can follow anybody around in a store!), Scott implies — because he is black!
Just like Bubba Wallace knows what it’s like to find a noose hanging in his new NASCAR garage and know instantly that it’s an intimidation tactic against him — because he’s black! Never mind the “noose” has been there for months before the bay was assigned to Wallace and functions as a garage door pull loop.
And Tim Scott knows — as Mister Obama famously does — what it’s like to see a white lady react defensively when she sees him walking down the street. Forget that Mister Obama was certainly high on drugs at the time and Tim Scott is imagining things again.
Just like JUSSIE knows what it’s like to be mugged and beaten by MAGA COUNTRY in Chicago disguised as his black gay lovers from Jamaica — because he’s black!
There is a new dawn of the long harbored race grudge and inferiority complex that blacks have nursed to their own paranoia. For four decades blacks have learned like a rat in a cage pressing the red button for cocaine that all they have to do is scream RACISM and a white lady runs over and gives them a cookie.
Now it’s White Fragility and a fear of talking honestly about race, and Reparations and looting and corporate shakedowns, and a new regime of Affirmative Action and plummeting standards or education and productivity. When what really needs to happen is for African Americans to start taking responsibility for their own problems, including drug and alcohol abuse, fatherless families, third grade educations, crime, violence, dependency, sexual perversion and abuse of women, inability to responsibly handle firearms, and they’re literally taking the country down– AGAIN!
We already fought a terrible Civil War of blacks, and we already had a decade of riots and destruction of their own cities by blacks. Now we’re going to fight another civil war over the same problem — blacks!
We have to ask ourselves, Are they really worth it?

I personally wish Sean would SHUT UP about himself and let his guests talk. We don’t always watch him. He drones on and on about himself and often puts words in the mouth of his guests and leaves them little time to speak for themselves. Sometimes I wonder if Sean is bored with himself. That’s just a pet peeve. We do need him out there to give real news over the fake news.
Black families need to get their act together and start being parents and manage their kids like other parents do! This imaginary village isn’t doing it People don’t want to raise the kids of other families. Raise them right and you won’t a crime problem! It starts at home not in a jail cell.

Today he interrupted Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn when Flynn was talking about his own personality type as one less inclined to revenge and vindictiveness, when Sean had to cut him off in mid-sentence to express his own bold and messianic willingness and ability to be vengeful against Mister Obama, et. al. on Flynn’s behalf. LOL!
But, as you so aptly mentioned, Sean has been an incalculably great asset and leader for Americans for many years, and especially, I think during the darkest days of “The Mueller Investigation.”
I actually think Sean was the MOST valuable, visceral, continually passionate and inspirational day-in-and-day-out media fighter then. And when you talk four hours a day for a living, sometimes it’s hard to shut up.

WE already had Constitutional Rights- which only needed to be brought to bear equally for new “laws” can’t change hearts and minds by rule or rote.

Then in ’79 Carter EO’d the FedEd Dept into existence to join with the NEA Marxist union to totally undermine public ed.
Not to leave out the taking over of the APA by the homosexuals to then gain access to education to indoctrinate and facilitate totally confused moral perversion’s with all principles now gone.
All of it is a concerted effort over 100yrs to gain control of the final necessary generations.
This all to employ Athiest Marxism which infiltrated higher educational universities and seminaries from European influences already by the middle to late 1800’s.

The worst abuse a white person can force on a black person is to force them, to compel them to live as a white person. Black people need to be respected for their themselves and not as honorary whites. White Americans do not force Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese American to live as whites. We do not force native American to live as whites. We allow them their own communities, self-rule,and we honor and respect them. It is only the blacks that are abused by whites forcing them to act as white people, and that is the true racism of which they complain.

I know Tim Scott is a Republican, a conservative, a smart guy and a good guy. If he was the worst of them we would be fine. But because of the malignant gravity of Africans in America, he’s always going to get dragged down, too.

We didn’t need that police reform bill.
Not only do we not need to “defund the police,” as morons like to say, or ban chokeholds, as if you can think about angles of attack when you’re in a struggle for your life with a black criminal thug on drugs, or protocol for partners second guessing partners when their fighting for their lives with perps on drugs, which means cops won’t even try to arrest criminals anymore.
We don’t need this bill. We need African Americans to take responsibility for themselves. If they want to live in a civilized country they have to decide to become civilized.
And now, thanks to all this chaos that has laid bare their brazen bloody revolutionary intent, we need to double the budgets of every American police department.

I’d like to know why there isn’t attention put on law breaking, respect for authority, resisting arrest, being high or drunk , taking an officers weapon and crimes they are committing.
While we were out today, there was a TV on in the background. I think it was a CBS “reporter”, that was having a casual interview with a black, female cop in uniform on the street.. The “reporter” was asking her about racial crime disparities and inequality. She felt as a cop, she was treated fairly by colleagues. Next the “reporter” asked about racial crime and what she thought about that. I almost burst out laughing. She said the majority of her calls for assistance come from the black and Hispanic communities and she has no control over that it is her job to accommodate them.

Any African-American who is unhappy living as a minority in a majority white country should buy a one way ticket to Africa. There are many wonderful countries to live in there where you don’t have to look at white people anymore. You only need a one way ticket.
May I suggest Angola, Congo, Tanzania, or the real paradise, Mozambique. There you can truly be free and live as a proud Black person amongst black people. Do not delay, leave today.

Republican Sen. Tim Scott is the nightmare Democrats fear may lead to Black voter defection. If they call a Black Senator an Uncle Tom, it might just backfire on them and if they refuse to work with him, it exposes them for the racists they really are.
