Democrats’ anti-police bill will cripple local police and empower criminals

30

The Democrat Party of destruction rejected a bill from Senator Tim Scott that would have improved the lives of Black Americans. Now the loathsome Democrats are about to submit an anti-police bill that will further endanger the lives of Black Americans. This is the very embodiment of the plantation Democrat Party. Keep the Black voter in perpetual distress and reliant on government intervention. That is how the Democrats maintain their stranglehold on the Black vote. It is these kinds of plantation laws that make Democrat controlled cities the most dangerous cities in America. By far. Blexit!

Democrats’ anti-police bill will cripple local police and empower criminals

Story continues below advertisement

By Washington Examiner, June 25, 2020

It may not be a plank in the official Democratic Party platform, but it’s clear that Democrats and their supporters want to eliminate state and local police. The radical left, which now controls the Democratic Party, is making a frontal assault on the police with their calls to defund and dismantle police departments. Democratic members of Congress are fighting a rearguard action through their dangerous Jerry Nadler-Nancy Pelosi anti-policing bill.

During the hearing on the Nadler-Pelosi monstrosity, Democrats rejected every amendment offered by Republicans, even when Democrats agreed with the substance of the amendment.

Included in the Nadler-Pelosi bill was a provision that limited the sentence of a person convicted of lynching to 10 years. The Democrats doggedly fought to defeat an amendment offered by Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas that would have made lynching punishable by life imprisonment or death-penalty eligible. Nadler argued that the death penalty was barbarous. But then, so is lynching.

In an effort to ameliorate Nadler’s concerns, Gohmert proposed a change that would maximize the penalty for lynching to life in prison. Nadler and the Democrats rejected this, apparently content with the bill’s maximum of 10 years punishment for lynching.

The heart of the anti-police bill is an effort to eliminate all legal protections police officers have. Since Democrats are also attempting to bring all police power to the national government, their bill is also chock full of tactical mandates on local police departments.

A court-made rule gives police officers limited, qualified immunity for their acts. Because of language in a Supreme Court ruling, there is a need to reform immunity provisions, while protecting police. Many Democrats seemed to acknowledge the need to give some protection for officers who do not intentionally or recklessly harm a citizen but were unwilling to accept any Republican attempts to reform the immunity laws. Democrats preferred a total elimination of all legal protection to our police officers.

All police officers will be personally liable for any decision they make and for any accident they cause. Currently, officers receive internal discipline, and in cases where an officer is alleged to have committed a crime, such as the George Floyd case, the officer is subject to the civil authorities. Victims have a claim on the department in all cases.

And that’s the thing: Democrats MEAN to run interference for violent criminals, gangs like MS-13, pedophiles, rapists, and other such reprobates.

Can someone explain a ten year maximum for lynching? Are they trying to protect the kkk?

“Democrats’ anti-police bill will cripple local police and empower criminals”
Because most criminals are Democrats. And 26% of prison inmates are illegals. That’s why Democrats want to give criminals the vote.

I am still attempting to grasp a ten year penalty for lynching. Is that for blm members that lynch police, or does it apply to all lynchings?

Police will rightfully resign in droves if the DEM version is allowed.
They will have NO authority and be open to endless lawsuits.
Who needs that?

The problems in America will only be fixed by eliminating all democrat socialists/communists, it won’t be pretty and will make the civil war look like a picnic.

There is a better tool than the Insurrection Act. Trump must declare Martial Law

…and arrest the “Deep State” members entrenched in the DOJ/CIA/FBI/DNC/CAIR/SPLC/ Leftist Academia and all those in the MSM, Fa☭ebook, Twitter, Go☭☭le, ☭NN, AB☭, NB☭,☭BS, MSNB☭,☭NB☭, NPR, WaP0S, HuffP0S, MEDIA MALPRACTI☭E and THE NY SLIMES.

Time to get serious Trump! Stop screwing around with weak half measures!

Martial Law and Domestic Disorder.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution-conan/article-2/section-2/clause-1/martial-law-and-constitutional-limitations

President Washing- ton himself took command of state militia called into federal service to quell the Whiskey Rebellion, but there were not too many occasions subsequently in which federal troops or state militia called into federal service were required.260 Since World War II, however, the President, by virtue of his own powers and the authority vested in him by Congress,261 has used federal troops on a number of occasions, five of them involving resistance to desegregation decrees in the South.262 In 1957, Governor Faubus employed the Arkansas National Guard to resist court-ordered desegregation in Little Rock, and President Eisenhower dispatched federal soldiers and brought the Guard under federal authority.263 In 1962, President Kennedy dispatched federal troops to Oxford, Mississippi, when federal marshals were unable to control with rioting that broke out upon the admission of an African American student to the University of Mississippi.264 In June and September of 1964, President Johnson sent troops into Alabama to enforce court decrees opening schools to blacks.265 And, in 1965, the President used federal troops and federalized local Guardsmen to protect participants in a civil rights march.

The President justified his action on the ground that there was a substantial likelihood of domestic violence because state authorities were refusing to protect the marchers.266

………sound familiar?

Former and current military men, most disturbingly, are not wholly behind the President. Disloyalty among their ranks has perilously undermined Trump’s option to initiate the Insurrectionist Act.

Fearful thought, but would the military revolt in such event, influenced by men like General Mattis, and Deep State corrupted Pentagon?

Sounds great BUT the DEMS in Congress will say he over reacted and go for impeachment. Guaranteed.

I think why Trump backed off is because he doesn’t have support for it. We only have a three seat lead over the DEMS in the Senate. The House will easy vote for Trump impeachment. How about the Senate? Look how many didn’t want to fund the wall? Mitch and Kevin McCarthy are OKAY with removing on renaming our military bases so they don’t offend our enemies. When those two and FOR that why be against it? The Gop is not on Trump’s side. Wouldn’t you rather have Trump over Biden?

I remind you look at WHO in he GOP didn’t want to fund the BORDER WALL – Sen. Susan Collins, Sen. Mitt Romney, Sen. Lisa Murkowski and Sen. Susan Collins could easily vote for Trump to be impeached. Sen. Mike Lee is frustrated in not giving out more white collar foreign VISAS and citizenship for foreign people. He wants no cap and unlimited VISAS!

Trump is walking a fine line within his party. It stinks to high heaven in the swamp! It’s maddening how the GOPe BETRAYS us. Self preservation is more important to them than you or me. They stay in power because the opposition (DEMS) are more openly worse. and that’s how they stay in power. We do need more uncorrupt good people to step up and replace the GOPe and we don’t have allot of time left to do that.

Here are the 10 Senate ‘RINOs’ who voted with Dems to thwart Trump’s border funding

Sen. Susan Collins
Sen. Mike Lee

The drum-beat tempo of the Democrat-Media complex, the seditious band banging away on harsh diabolical theme, land of America with bitter notes of racial hatred, hell-bent to amplify and inflame. An absolute menace, the evil and corrupt Democrat Party, and its subversive-propaganda engine.

As Mr. Levin has said, This coming election is a choice between “Liberty and Tyranny”. A decision between standing tall and securing freedom, or kneeling down in abject surrender to the raging Radical Left mob.

Terrible warning in the toppled statures of metal. Once they lie fallen without a fight, history broken, living people in time may very well fall next. — Civil war!

There is something you should also know…

There is something else you need to understand. I didn’t know this before this craziness happened. Trump can not go into a state and clean things up UNLESS he is INVITED in to do so by a Mayor, Governor or someone in an official position. Mayor Frey of Minneapolis INVITED Trump in to clean it up and so Trump did with the National Guard. Till then Trump could not go in there. States have a certain amount of sovereignty. For Seattle, Trump would need to be invited in by the Seattle Mayor or Governor to clean it up and it doesn’t look like they are going to do that. Those people are as insane as the rioters!

This could be changed through Congress but they won’t do it. The LIKE what is going on. They WANT this to continue and get worse because it demoralizes the Trump base to see our country destroyed and raises the enthusiasm of their crazy base. Add mail in ballot voter fraud to it and they have the election and win over Trump.

The Constitution allows for Congress to change this but for the above reasons they will not do that. Section 8 of the Constitution applies here:

Section 8 – Powers of Congress

To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

https://usconstitution.net/const.html

In another reply to you, I mentioned why Trump has to tread cautiously in using the Insurrection Act. Other Presidents have used it but Trump is hated and doesn’t have GOP support on it and needs it. To wing it could be disastrous for him. These are crazy times and I believe they will get worse.

The Dems want to replace the police with their Brown Shirts. We should call them the Black Faces for their black face coverings. They hide who they are. Not proud of themselves.

Actually, the nature of policing in this country is a “red herring” – the definition of which is “something,
especially a clue, that is or is intended to be misleading or distracting.”

Of course, it’s all a diversion from the real issue, which

is the intractable problem of criminality in the black community.

In 2014, blacks accounted for 27.8% of the total amount of

arrests for that year, an obviously disproportionate amount for a population of

13%. The overall level of arrests of black people is higher than might be

expected in almost every category except for driving under the influence of

alcohol.

Black people accounted for most of the arrests for murder

(51.3%), robbery (55.9%) and gambling (58.9%). They were also significantly

above the average in several other categories: weapons crimes (40.7%),

prostitution and commercialized vice (41.8%) and aggravated assault (33.1%).

– FBI, 2014

In September, 2018, the Bureau of Justice released its 2018

survey of criminal victimization: There were 593,598 interracial violent

victimizations (excluding homicides), including white-on-black and

black-on-white attacks – of which 90% were committed by Blacks.

There are many reasons for this criminal

over-representation, and indeed racial resentment, but it must always be noted

that poverty and the absence of a father are widely recognized as contributing

factors to dysfunction:

Unmarried mothers with children under 18 are the most

impoverished demographic in American society, and they are the most common type

of family structure in black communities – with 58% of black children growing

up in homes without a father. – U.S. Census Bureau, 2012

One consequence of these unhappy facts is that “the

concentration of criminal violence in minority communities means that “officers

will be disproportionately confronting armed and often resisting suspects in

those communities, raising officers’ own risk of using lethal force,” writes

Heather MacDonald.

Race has always been the “soft underbelly” of the
American project – and a disaffected black underclass is being skillfully used
by the usual suspects – Marxists, NGO’s, the media, the Academy, and foreign
and domestic enemies both, to undermine this country.

And the issue of policing – the scapegoating of the police,
is merely a cudgel with which to beat this country.

After sixty-years of failure, the efforts to arrest the
decline in the black community have created a powerful sentiment to do away with
the liberal state, and replace it with totalitarianism.

This is an inclination, incidentally, which has been present for more than a century, irrespective of our current
difficulties.

This used to be referred to as Communism.

That’s what’s really going on – and it has nothing to do
with the police.

“Democrats’ anti-police bill will cripple local police and empower criminals”: isn’t that the whole point?

Any leftist/insane idea that comes up they like and latch onto if it means damaging a Republican government. Riots in the streets? Why not make it easier for the rioters, unless its a Democrat government running the country. Note how the riots are virtually only in Democrat’s states.

Screw Law and Order! Handcuff (no pun intended) the police. Make them afraid instead of scare the poor rioters who are acting no better than a 14 year old having a hissy fit telling the parents how THEY want the house to run; just don’t even suggest taking their cell phone away or the screaming will not stop until they want money to go to the mall.

Education, for what now passes for education, has been indoctrinating the youth for the past 50 years to be good leftists and buck “capitalism” and the evil Western society. Don’t question because we know what is best for you because, after all, we “teach”. And now we see the fruits of their passions. Just don’t even think about going after their pensions or letting one go for incompentence.
