Protester caught with axe taped to sign Saturday arrested in Manhattan

Police sure wanted to “axe” him about his sign.
Story continues below advertisementA protester was arrested in Manhattan Saturday for marching with an axe taped to his sign calling for justice in the police killing of George Floyd.
The axe served as a handle and was duct-taped to the sign, which read, “Boomers asked 4 justice, millennials demand justice.” The man was also carrying a small knife in his backpack, police said.
“We respect the right to peacefully protest, but remain vigilant for these type of threats,” the NYPD tweeted.
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was arrested by 10th Precinct Anti-Crime officers assigned to monitor protests at East 17th and University Place, law enforcement sources told The Post.
He faces at least two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Massive crowds gathered in New York to peacefully protest Floyd’s killing Saturday for the second straight weekend. Thousands of demonstrators flooded the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn and dispersed in peace shortly before midnight.

I have been called “Boomer” so many times…in recent days…by young men and women…Our Sons and Daughters now hate our guts and want us dead!…They are all about “revolution”…and will inherit the wrath of God…They are “Implacable, dogmatic, without understanding or wisdom, or love…unmerciful, haters of God and those who are good…we have raised up a generation of Baal Worshipers who will try to kill us all!
