The Jewish lay leadership in the United States continue to appease and cower to the anti-Semitic and Israel-hating Left. As if appeasing the enemy will make American Jews safe, at a time of record breaking anti-Semitism. This is exactly what many Jewish leaders in pre-Holocaust Germany did. Look how that turned out.
New York Jewish Cultural Center to Host Imam With Anti-Israel Background

The prominent New York Jewish cultural center the 92nd Street Y, now known as 92Y, is scheduled to host a virtual event on June 18 featuring an imam who has defended the call for the State of Israel to be destroyed.
The event features Rabbi Peter Rubinstein of New York’s Central Synagogue, a Reform congregation, and Imam Al-Hajj Talib Abdur-Rashid of the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood Inc., in New York. They plan to discuss how society can move forward amid the hardship of “recent events,” though the event description doesn’t specifically mention such events, including the death of George Floyd, 46, who died on May 25 in the custody of Minneapolis police.
Story continues below advertisementAbdur-Rashid visited the White House twice—in June and July 2010—during the Barack Obama administration, according to White House visitor logs. In 2006, he defended then-Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s call for Israel’s destruction.
While Abdur-Rashid acknowledged the Holocaust as “one of the great tragedies of humanity, along with slavery, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Bosnia and Rwanda,” he said that Ahmadinejad’s call for Israel’s annihilation echoed a “sentiment born of the legitimate anger, frustration and bitterness that is felt in many parts of the Muslim world.”
In 2005, he defended Rafiq Sabir, an American doctor who was convicted two years later for agreeing to be a medic for wounded Al-Qaeda members abroad. Sabir was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
“Dr. Sabir was well-known here in Harlem and known, really, as a humanitarian physician,” said Abdur-Rashid.
The imam has made other controversial remarks, including accusing Muslims of conspiring with law enforcement, such as the NYPD, and the American government of “the way that it does things and sets people up.”
The 92Y and Rubinstein did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

If the situation was inverted, and this Iman was a right wing pro-Trump conservative, the NY (mostly Jewish) Marxists and Leftists would be demanding that the 92Y cancel the event.
No matter how many anti-Israel Hamas-sympathizing Imans there are, it’s dwarfed by the number of secular Leftist self-hating Jews.
The Holocaust didn’t just happen. It took the tacit support and acquiescence of millions of useful idiots, including many Jews, Christians, Catholics, and Muslims.

Until the Jews never had a country. They lived as guests spread across the world. Since 1948 they have not been appeasers. The great appeasers are the European nations which after defeating the Muslims in Spain, then again at Vienna, Malta and Lepanto allowed the Ottoman Empire to ravage eastern Europe for centuries even to the extent of intervening in Russia’s war to retake Constantinople and throw the Muslims out of the area we now call the Ukraine and Crimea. We, the Europeans are the greatest appeasers. We could have annihilated this existential threat many times over and have failed repeatedly.

I only read the title and thought that said more than enough but of course it isn’t.
Is it possible they have lived in the states so long or they are so old that they have forgotten what happened to their own families? Or could they have paid no attention? Or did they attend American schools after true history of what happened to their people during world war two?
I know the expression, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” but this really goes too far!

It is so sad and infuriating to see a people that have suffered so much persecution over thousands of years to have become so devoid of any instinct for self preservation. Liberty and freedom from persecution must be fought for over and over every generation. When people no longer understand that, they are going to become slaves – if they don’t become dead. A lot of “Christians” in this country don’t fare any better in that regard.

As a native of NY this does not surprise me. It is just another reason I stopped giving to Jewish organization or even attending synagogue. I even recently found out tree planting in Israel has been a scam in some parts. That planted trees to honor family members have been bulldozed to make way for housing. As I learned from observation and the tales my father told me. Jews are their own worst enemy and will seek praise from their enemies. Jews will back their enemies so they will think they get some kind of street cred.
My relatives rich and poorer come to America long before the holocaust in Europe. They knew not to count on fellow Jews and were well entrenched in America.
Inviting evil into your house does nit win you a prize, only your destruction. See as an example Moshe Dylan’s refusal to remove al aqsa mosque.

My husband used to say that the best friends of Israel are the palestinians. Because after all the times foolish Israelis tried to give away their own patrimony, the palestinians always without failing,….. they never miss an opportunity to miss and opportunity.
