LA Council Pres Who Called for Defunding LAPD Had Private LAPD Home Detail

By: Daniel Greenfield, FPM, Jun 9, 2020

Don’t worry folks. All this Defund the Police stuff is for the proles. It means that when someone breaks into your home, you’ll have a social worker respond the next day and tell you to check your privilege and urge you to donate to charities for the underprivileged.

The nomenklatura will have protection, whether it’s private security for guys like Jeff Bezos, or private police details for political bosses.

While LA City Council President Nury Martinez was filing a motion last week seeking to cut $150 million from the LAPD budget, she had an LAPD unit standing watch outside her home providing her family with a private security detail since April.

The round-the-clock protection unit, often staffed by two officers, infuriated some members of the police force when Martinez introduced the motion, which reads in part:

“We need a vision for our city that says ‘there is going to be justice.’ American society is founded on a racial hierarchy, one that is born out of slavery, followed by Jim Crow segregation and corporate abuse of labor. As such, police departments are asked to enforce a system of laws that are designed to reinforce and maintain economic and racial inequality.”

McBride, who has been in law enforcement for 30 years, spent more than five years at the LAPD’s Foothill Division, which serves Martinez’s district in the San Fernando Valley.

“It’s kind of ironic. Here she is demanding $150 million be reallocated from the police budget, but yet she has security at her house by the Los Angeles Police Department,” said Det. Jamie McBride, who serves as director of the Los Angeles Police Protective League, the LAPD’s union.

Were there failures to respond to calls from citizens because Nury Martinez had to be protected? But that’s just how it is.

The city, county, and state bosses are not about to give up their security. They want you to give up your security.

The Dem0nrats have made Los Angeles a crime-ridden hellhole — just like every other urban area of Californication — except maybe San Diego. There are an estimated 80,000 street gang members in the county of Los Angeles.

L.A. has just accelerated it’s descent into total third-world status.

How many of her relatives? Probably all of them. She probably has an ‘official’ pipeline granting them front of the line access to all the usual social services taxpayers are not entitled to.

Betcha … she represents Mexican drug cartels

… and not in just a snarky social media post way of unintended consequences

… if we had any Federal law enforcement working for Americans …

… I’d bet good money she is directly tied to Mexican crime cartels

Who picked her? Who groomed her? Who financed her?

Her bio is not worth a roll of used TP. Someone is funding these anti-American P.O.S.s. And they are no friends of America.

And the L.A. County Sheriff refuses to issue concealed carry permits, (the handful of people who do have them, are all contributors, friends, cronies of the Sheriff) because he wants only the criminals to have guns.

It will lead to is honest law abiding citizens, breaking the law of conceal and carry without a permit to carry to protect themselves. It will make a great case for the @SCOTUS when it’s shown it’s being used for political favors

Official Says Antifa Has Been Planning Anti-Government Insurgency
Long Before George Floyd Death

By C. Douglas Golden
Published June 5, 2020 at 10:27am

An anonymous law enforcement official, speaking to The Washington Times, has said that so-called “anti-fascist” groups have been planning unrest like the kind we’ve seen during recent riots for months, perhaps since as early as November.

The official, who the paper reported has “access to intelligence behind the shadowy group,” said the plans “to foment a nationwide anti-government insurgency” began “as early as November as the U.S. presidential campaign season kicked off in earnest.”

(Trump wasn’t supposed to win!)

The Trump administration has also had antifa on its radar, with the president saying he would declare it a terror organization.

On Monday, Trump said that “in recent days, our nation has been gripped by professional anarchists, violent mobs, arsonists, looters, criminals, rioters, antifa and others.”

While it’s questionable whether or not antifa can be designated as a terrorist organization — the law states that only foreign groups can be labeled as such — National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien says the administration is taking a hard look at the group.

No doubt they were FREE and taxpayers funded them. Didn’t she also have the police stand down on any rioting there?

Washington Governor Inslee Doesn’t Know About Occupied Seattle Encampment…
– sundance
This is rather unusual. One would think a governor would be aware that seven blocks in his largest city have been taken over by armed occupiers who have formed an encampment called the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. However, when questioned about it, an apparently clueless Washington State Governor jay Inslee says “that’s news to me.”

In Los Angeles you had better hope the cops are not gang members themselves. The place is overrun with criminals and lawlessness and it gets worse by the day.

I recognize the name Nury Martinez. This person is the councilperson of the council district that I live in. So now I know that she is a hypocrite. She has police protection at her home, but wants to cut down the funding of the Los Angeles Police Department. This whole movement to defund and dismantle Police Departments is crazy and stupid.

All politicians should set an example and remove their armed guards!

If anything their should should be visible orderly protests in front of these hypocrites homes for a weeNk exposing how they usurp the communities resources so the public taxpayer’s funds can be used for them personally. How much is this costing LA. Does this go on their W2 at the end of the year as income? It should. @IRS @POTUS #LACityBudget @NuryMartinez @DanielGreenfield

Most politicians should not need protection squads. Most people think they are either not worthy of special attention or are worried that what they are doing is so egregious they need to look over their shoulders forever. The reality is that their sense of self-importance distances them from ordinary people.
When little Mikie Bloomberg realized how wealth could not bring height, he used the New York City Police for personal security. As the mayor, he had that option, and it probably kept assassins at bay, but when he left office, he hired those three squads of men to continue their work on his payroll. Most of us will never be able to afford one bodyguard, yet he has an entire 24/7 staff.
Do these politicians have a legitimate need for protection? Probably so, but only because they also have a terrible, unliked side to them that most of us miss. It could be corruption, or it could be a broken promise, or they could also be traveling on the wrong side of the tracks. We don’t know unless they get caught.
