Facebook must be broken up. It is clearly a political publisher, an arm of the hard-left and the Democrat Party, not a neutral platform where the freedom of speech is respected. It’s what I have been writing, and warning of for years. We filed a lawsuit against Facebook years ago challenging Section 230 of the FEC code, to no avail. Everyone shrugged. Now, one by one, we are silenced, banned, suspended or deleted. And it’s only going to get worse in the run up to the presidential election.
The other two pillars of the break-up argument is gross violation of our first amendment rights in the public square and violation of our civil rights. This must be done now. Soon it will be too late.
Project Veritas notes: “Facebook and other social media platforms are protected by Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, because they claim that unlike traditional publishers that do not actively edit content—they say they are like the phone company just stringing wires on poles. Facebook’s $400 billion market capitalization is tied to this protection and our report shows for the first time anywhere Facebook’s robust and human-directed process for restricting the marketplace of ideas, which calls into question their CDA 230 immunity.”

I would expect more intellectual precision from Pamela (or “Atlas Shrugs”). Here is what the First Amendment says:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
It makes no mention of “the public square”. Ok …. maybe it’s there in “emanations from the penumbra”?
More than that, assuming the photo is in fact one of Lara Konakas, a Facebook cen- er monitor,- then she is a person of color and you should be kneeling to her anyway.
i say this despite being sympathetic to the argument that Facebook and their pals are throttling liberty in the only nation that was created in its name and that something should be done to rein them in. However, I don’t know that anti-trust is the best way to do it.

I don’t understand how Pamela Geller who says she is a great admirer of Ayn Rand can be an advocate of anti-trust laws.
yiyoya, I have little doubt that Pamela struggled a bit with her strong endorsement of antitrust against Facebook and the like. I make the following sense of it.
We don’t live in a laissez-faire society with strict observance of property rights, so many issues of property necessarily get perverted. This plays out with Facebook insofar as they ride on a partially government-created foundation often referred to as the Internet. Through compulsory taxation, you and I helped fund it’s creation. Accordingly, it seems a tad unfair to me to say that we have no property rights invested in it. The entire concept of moving the “public square” away from the village square to something called cyberspace calls for a critical look at the notion of rights in the public square (yes, yes, I realize that the very notion of a public square would be an anathema in Galt’s Gulch, but let’s defer that discussion).
The fact remains that the likes of Facebook & Twitter wield a degree of control over public discourse that tyrants of the past could only dream of. We place our civilization in peril if they wield that power irresponsibly, which I think they clearly have done.
PJ Media has a somewhat fuller description of how pint-sized tyrants like Lara Konakas are abusing the notions that informed those Dead White Males who conceived of the possibility of a nation dedicated to the idea of liberty. They must either be stopped, or freedom as Americans have known it will cease to exist. She and her ilk, invested with the power they have, pose an intolerable threat to freedom of speech, and, accordingly, to the very concept of freedom.

Pamela how could you, Ayn Rand? Liatris Spicata, as you probably know Ayn Rand was a Rothschild mistress who wrote the manual for the NWO in “Atlas Shrugged.” How could someone admire a humanist philosopher with ties to global Satanism.

Ken, I am calling BS on you- shame on you.
It appears you know nothing about what Pamela Geller stands for: she has long been an admirer of Rand. Doesn’t mean she endorses all of Rand’s utterances and positions, but, to give you an example, the first incarnation of this blog was called “atlasshrugs.com” (or something close to it).
As for being a “Rothchild mistress”- whatever are you blabbering about? Rand was, famously, the mistress of one dubious (in my mind) character named Nathaniel Brandon. As for having an affair with a Rothschild, I don’t believe either party ever acknowledged that relationship, and I’ve never heard any credible party who knew either of them make that claim.
So go peddle your conspiratorial nonsense elsewhere.

Facebook is as you described. You see them clearly enough. But the Abraham Cults share Facebook’s fanaticism. Exposing them is just as important.

I asked an acquaintance who worked in Intel. for many years what % of Jihadi- types worked in FB and was told approx.70%. What intrigued me was at my local Mall all the Cell fone guys were Jihadi-looking and I was concerned about my own personal security by having my gone serviced with them. Let us resolve to avoid doing business with these types because they have resolved to do Jihad against all of us. Please bear in mind what my contact said “70%”and plan accordingly an anti FB strategy.
