Airlines BANNING BOOZE “because of Coronavirus”

Drinking is the only thing that makes flying tolerable. Full-on tyranny.

Refuse to wear a face mask and these major airlines put you on NO-FLY LIST like a terrorist

These Airlines Have Stopped In-Flight Alcohol Sales Because Of Coronavirus

By: Alexandra Sternlicht, Forbes, June 17, 2020:

Story continues below advertisement

As airlines Delta, American, KLM, EasyJet begin to resume flights, alcoholic drinks for purchase are on pause, as airlines hope to minimize passenger bathroom trips and time spent with their face masks off, reports CNN.

The alcohol ban is part of a larger move to reduce food and drink options aboard—with numerous airlines only serving bottled water on flights—as most airlines require mask use for the full duration of flights except for when passengers eat and drink.

American Airlines, which is filling jets at 55% capacity, is halting alcohol sales on most domestic flights for economy class passengers, but will continue to serve adult beverages in first class and on lengthy international flights.

On British budget airline EasyJet, water will be the only refreshment—and that will need to be requested from the crew, who will also monitor restroom use.

Netherlands flagship airline KLM will no longer carry alcohol, but passengers can continue to ask crewmembers for more water and soft drinks.

Delta will cease to serve alcohol on domestic flights or flights to the Americas, but will serve beer, wine and hard liquor on international flights.

It is unclear whether passengers are allowed to bring their own alcohol and snacks, possibly a loophole in the plan.

U.S. Air travel looks nothing like it did in February: major American airlines announced that they would ban passengers from future flights who did not comply with mask policies.

I have made numerous flights to SE Asia from California which require about 23 hours in the air. You get an hour or so rest stop in Taiwan while refueling or in Osaka or Narita. 18 hours would be duck soup. Never needed booze in the air or after I arrived.

Angelina Jolie’s father didn’t seem to think much of her and I’m not sure if they ever patched things up. Still-in-all I’d kiss Angelina Jolie before I’d consider even shaking hands w/Charlie Sheen.

Off topic – John Bolton goes completely off the rails!
He is behaving worse than a deep state, anti Trump, scorned woman.

Justice Department seeks emergency order to block publication of Bolton memoir
By Catherine Garcia
6/18/20

The Department of Justice on Wednesday asked a federal judge to order former National Security Adviser John Bolton to stop the publication of his forthcoming memoir, The Room Where It Happened, alleging that “disclosure of the manuscript will damage the national security of the United States.”

On Tuesday, the Justice Department and the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington filed a lawsuit attempting to block publication of The Room Where it Happened, accusing Bolton of breaching the contract he signed when hired as national security adviser. In a declaration attached to Wednesday’s lawsuit, National Security Council official Michael Ellis said he looked at Bolton’s manuscript, and found it contained top secret classified information.

Federal prosecutors reportedly weighing whether to criminally charge John Bolton
By Catherine Garcia
6/18/20

Federal prosecutors are considering whether to criminally charge former National Security Adviser John Bolton with revealing classified information in his forthcoming memoir, people familiar with the matter told the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday. (JUST DO IT!)

These discussions are being held at the highest levels of the Justice Department, and involve Attorney General William Barr, the Times reports.

Bolton served as President Trump’s national security adviser from April 2018 to September 2019. His book, The Room Where it Happened, is scheduled for release on June 23, but journalists who received advanced copies revealed on Wednesday some of the memoir’s more eye-opening allegations, including that Trump begged Chinese President Xi Jinping to help him win his re-election and used the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi to take attention away from news that his daughter, Ivanka Trump, used her personal email to conduct government business.

(That takes the cake! Trump begging China to help him WIN his re-election or used the death of Jamal in any form! Bolton is insane.)

On Tuesday, the Justice Department and the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington filed a lawsuit attempting to block publication of the The Room Where it Happened, accusing Bolton of breaching a contract he signed when he became national security adviser. The book, the DOJ said, is “rife with classified information.” Bolton’s attorney, Charles Cooper, said in a statement his client spent months working with National Security Council officials to ensure any classified information was removed from the book, and the White House is trying to censor Bolton.

(Obviously that isn’t true!)

“On British budget airline EasyJet, water will be the only
refreshment—and that will need to be requested from the crew, who will
also monitor restroom use.” Gee, are they going to take off frequent flyer miles for someone who goes to the bathroom too many times. Or, maybe they can just deem that person an unruly passenger and have him/her put on the no-fly list. Or, perhaps for those who have real restroom issues, the crew can notify the flight’s destination airport so that a SWAT team can have that passenger forcibly removed upon arrival. Yes, finally the airlines are getting tough on the right people. Next, the airlines can go after those who try to put oversize bags in the overhead.

Don’t buy it – this is being forced into play to appease Muslim travelers who have been complaining for years. It is especially unconvincing when it also will not apply to First-Class/Business-class passengers. This has noting to do with Covid.- If COVID were a concern Airline Travel would have to be banned. There are no COVID deaths amongst working age people to even justify Pandemic. 400,000 deaths fro COVID world wide while several million have die in the same time frame from annual seasonal flu???
All we hear now is Anti-Capitalist Socialist Health Officials and Leftist Politicians relentlessly spewing baffle gab, knowing they have been found out for playing the world and paid by a handful of unelected Billionaires looking to profit from World wide Vaccinations that will turn them into Trillionaires and not subject to any Government on earth…

I would think that serving alcohol on a flight would be a good way to deter the Corona Virus. The hard stuff might kill it in one’s system if it did anything. There was another story about persons who drink regularly being immune to the Virus as the alcohol in their system works to cleanse the body of toxins such as the virus itself. How many people I know who drink too much who never get the Flu or a cold or anything like that would be astonishing to some. I even read that persons with Typo “O Negative” Blood are immune to the Coronavirus. It is hitting persons of color and Asians the hardest and those groups tend to usually be Blood Type A, B, AB, both positive and negative of such blood types. I think more study should be done on that claim. There are also two very rare blood types, RH Negative and RH Positive, who seem totally immune to most viruses and acquired diseases. I always wondered if serious antibodies could be cultured from persons with RH Negative and/or RH Positive blood types to create a viable vaccine against most illness. Of course if this were to happen then the Doctors and the whole medical industry, based on making money first and foremost, would be out of business. They will never admit there are far easier and more effective means of treating diseases.

People who have in the past depended on self medicating with alcohol in order to get through the , for them, terrifying, ordeal of air travel will now have the choices of pharmaceuticals or seeking alternative methods of transportation.
For short to intermediate range inter-city travel, rail travel will begin to be seen as an ever more attractive alternative.

IMNSHO most of the people advocating for these policies are suffering under the burden of a complex of undiagnosed communicable mental disorders, incubated by the, with notable exceptions, colleges and universities which are demonstrably bent left. They are programmed all the way through grade school to be pre-disposed to leftist thought through the curriculum provided by textbook publishers, who have universally been under the control of committed leftist from the moneyed interests, through their editorial boards, and on down to the actual writers.
Until the above described problem is identified as a nationwide mental health issue and protocols develop-ed for the identification and treatment, much of which will require sequestration and a boot camp style disconnect from the leftist reinforcement systems as a foundation for success, the problem will continue to metastasize until the natural correctives impose a correction. Unfortunately, the conditions for such a natural correction to take place require the complete societal collapse of the society built on insanity a s a first step.

This doesn’t make much sense, can water and soft drinks be consumed through the mandatory COVID-19 mask but not alcoholic beverages?
