NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan lamented that most of the 700 looters arrested Monday night and early Tuesday morning would be “back out.”
“But when it comes to a burglary, which is a commercial store, which is looting, they’re back out,” he said.
“Because of bail reform, you’re back out on the street the next day. You cannot be held on any sort of bail. I spoke to (Manhattan District Attorney) Cy Vance about that. He told me there was nothing he could do,” he added.

Mayor De Blasio is the pro-criminal mayor. He is the one who is most responsible for the destruction of the once great city of New York.

Most of the looters and rioters arrested by the NYPD over the past several days are immediately released as a direct result of New York’s new bail-reform law, New York City police chief Terrence Monahan told the New York Post on Tuesday.
While the city police made over 650 arrests on Monday night alone, Monahan said that “just about all of them” will be released without bail.
“We had some arrests in Brooklyn where they had guns, [and] hopefully [Brooklyn district attorney] Eric Gonzalez will keep them in, [but] I can’t guarantee that’ll happen,” Monahan said. “But when it comes to a burglary [at] a commercial store, which is looting, they’re back out. . . . Because of bail reform, you’re back out on the street the next day. You cannot be held on any sort of bail. I spoke to [Manhattan district attorney] Cy Vance about that, he told me there’s nothing he can do.”

Female rapper and radio host Trina spoke out against the rioting and looting on Monday in response to the death of George Floyd.
At one point, Trina hammered the rioters by comparing them to “animals” that “escaped from a zoo,” as she explained that her friend had her business destroyed by the rioters during the protest.
Trina continued by going after her co-host of the show, Trick Daddy, by asking him about black lives, like her brother’s, who were lost because of other black people. “The black lives that matter, right? The same black lives that are taken by the hands of other black people, those matter, too, huh?” she said.

Who would want to live or do business in Mayor Bill de Blasio Land? He is disrespecting the Police and Firemen of your once Great City who risk everything to serve the People of NYC, especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic and now during these riots. The Firemen put out the flames started by Arson and rescue People trapped in burning buildings. Along comes Linda Sarsour and friends and they had no problems from the PD but for you they were the right color and religion. The Jews at Passover you warned, the Christians at Easter you warned then the Jewish Funeral Procession for a famous Rebbe ran into your curse, a yeshiva (Jewish religious school) got shut down by you and the kids carted off. Did you check out to see if the 500,000 Halal meals at taxpayer expense that you provided the Muslim Community at the end of Ramadan was respected from the Covid-19. Were there less than 10 people sharing these meals at each family home? Do you even know or care? If they were Jews or Christians you Mr. Mayor would have someone checking it out.

Paralysis of political correctness is continuing till someone stops it….. Police are over whelmed, beaten and murdered. Property damage and lives are being desroyed and assaults continue with no end in sight. Curfews are ignored. As far as I know, Cuomo and DeBlzio are refusing help. Trump has offered help.
Cuomo and DeBlazio are to busy middle fingering blame for each other for not getting the situation under control. Cuomo could easily over rule DeBlazio and get the National Guard or the military in there and get this under control.

Let’s not forget reimbursement is higher from Medicare and Medicaid when it is a COVID death. To qualify the person just has to have the virus. It doesn’t have to be the primary cause of death. Putting a patient on a ventilator is hitting the jack pot for reimbursement. It’s all about money and controlling the masses.
