The 49ers are flying a Black Lives Matter flag at Levi’s Stadium

The San Francisco 49ers have raised a Black Lives Matter flag at Levi’s Stadium, placing it prominently next to the California state flag as well as the United States flag.

Roger Goodell and the NFL have apologized for failing to listen to the messages behind previous protests and encouraged players this season to continue them, while making commitments to support social justice initiatives for years to come.
The 49ers have done the same, pledging to donate $1 million shortly after the murder of George Floyd.

That stupid flag has ruined the value of a lot of 49ers collectibles and ended my supporting this team in any way, shape or form. I could be tempted to buy an autograph of an old time 49ers player, but not one of the new ones. Shame on them.

Not anymore and not ever again. Maybe there are still players and coaches who are still patriotic Americans but they could hardly come out and say that now without losing their jobs or maybe getting deliberately injured on the field.

That flag should not be flying alongside the U.S., or the CA flag. In fact, there is probably a U.S. law that states that. The NFL should be forced to remove it.

Actually, that used to be a big thing when I was kid and young adult. They even had the big regional tournaments on television back then.
Golf tournaments weren’t really on television back then and it was more or less considered a rich man’s game.
Bowling was more for the common man.
My Dad -along with his co-workers and church friends – had bowling leagues. They also used to pile in cars and go in person to another state to see the tournaments.
As a military wife, we had bowling alleys on base and had teams. It was great fun.
When my siblings and I were kids, Mom used to pack us off with Dad to the bowling alleys….so she could get some rest LOL.

Ever since the flag and National Anthem disrespect campaign started in 2017, I have completely abandoned the NFL, this after being a devout Cowboys fan since ’60, their year of inception.
I’m a veteran, I didn’t quit on them until they quit on me.
