San Diego County supervisor says six of 194 confirmed deaths are ‘pure, solely coronavirus’ deaths

Story continues below advertisement“We’ve unfortunately had six pure, solely coronavirus deaths — six out of 3.3 million people,” San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond said in an interview this week, according to the San Diego Tribune. “I mean, what number are we trying to get to with those odds? I mean, it’s incredible. We want to be safe, and we can do it, but unfortunately, it’s more about control than getting the economy going again and keeping people safe.”
San Diego County Public Health Officer Wilma Wooten disagreed with Desmond, who downplayed deaths resulting from patients with preexisting conditions.
“Their life is no less valuable than someone’s life who does not have underlying medical conditions,” she said. “This is not just San Diego. This is how this is done throughout the entire nation in terms of identifying who has died of COVID-19.”
Desmond responded to Wooten, saying that “any loss of life, for any reason, is worth preventing” but added that “clearly, those with underlying circumstances are the most vulnerable. I believe we can keep people safe and responsibly open our businesses.”
A study published by the Journal of the American Medical Association in late April concluded that 94% of coronavirus patients in New York City hospitals suffered from preexisting conditions.
Desmond’s comments come as states across the country are debating how to classify coronavirus deaths in hospitals. Polls show that people are growing skeptical about the death counts being released by their local governments.
Coroners in Pennsylvania and Colorado have expressed frustration with the way coronavirus deaths are being tallied, and White House coronavirus task force response coordinator Deborah Birx said the official death toll could be inflated by 25%.
“There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust,” Birx reportedly said.
Fellow task force member Dr. Anthony Fauci said he believes the number is being underreported.

The 23 year-old kurdish man had decapitated the girl and carried around a suitcase with the girl’s head and some of her underwear in it.

One great example is in searching for patient “zero” of the Italian virus out break. Believed to be a marathon runner but rarely does one see this fact. Is it relevant?3 years agoI understand the political angle. I understand the inflated numbers and why they are happening. I understand that the reason this virus was released in the first place is a political power grab. I understand the tag team behind it stretches from the MSM to the Democrat Party to China to the top of the global medical community. I understand that we can not and should not remain in any kind of lockdown.
With all that said, when they say 6 are purely COVID-19 deaths that means 6 died when they didn’t have other complications. How many died because they had preexisting vulnerabilities, like age or hypertension or a heart condition. and would still be alive if not for this virus? I’m not fanning the flames of fear, I’m looking for accuracy.

Now that’s interesting for several reasons.If the numbers have been inflated by a full 25% then we’re at about 64,000.

194 total Covid-19 mortalities in San Diego county, of which 6 were 100% Covid-19 related. That 6 is about 3% of all Covid-19 mortalities there. Of course 6 is not the valid number, because many more would not have died except for Covid-19. But 194 is probably not the valid number either.3 years agoReply to DemocracyRulesI was looking at the CDC requirements for a death certificate for covid 19. It was very awkward, but what stood out to me was actual testing for covid (with the SARS test) was not required. You just needed covid type symptoms. This is a big red flag to me. I don’t have time to look for it now, but look around online, it is an official document and you should be able to find it. It was published around when NY went back and redid all their recounting.

In 1918, India had a GDP per person of less than $1 per day, a life expectancy of about 40, and very little evidence-based health care that understood the germ theory of disease. SO the epidemic would spread completely without constraints, until about 70% of the population got the Spanish flu. That would make a lot more than 20 million mortalities, but no one can bear to think about the real numbers, they are too horrible.

It Could be off by 50%. And if it is, that would be NORMAL for epidemic mortality tracking. For Spanish Flu 1918, estimates still vary from 30 million to 100 million mortalities. And those estimates are loaded with political distortions. Usually, politicos under-estimate mortality, to avoid blame for screwing up. 3 years agoReply to felix1999Hey felix, I think your original opinion of Birx is still valid. Birx has a long history of malfeasance and collusion with bad actors, including science fraud. As always with crooked politicos, they have only two choices when they get exposed:
1. Align politically with law enforcement, to avoid their wrath. [E.g., Lindsay Graham, who is very dirty, and he avoids consequences by pretending to cozy up to ‘The Donald’.]
2. Try to dis-empower the law enforcers. [E.g., Obama, Brennan, Comey, etc., who are super dirty, and to avoid consequences, they are trying to get Trump out of power.]Right now, Birx and Fauci are doing #1 publicly with Trump, but they are doing bad stuff in secret.

3 years agoSince the lefties have gone so far as to say climate change is racist, why has no one pointed out that the coronavirus is “agist”? After all, the bulk of the deaths from it usually occur among the elderly and infirm.

3 years agoThere seems to be a consensus that people with asthma, COPD or other respiratory diseases, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, those who are immune suppressed, and the very aged in nursing homes in which Covid-19 was deliberately introduced are most at risk for this virus. They know who they are, and that they need to protect themselves through social distancing, masks, etc. Only a fool or traitor would think you destroy the economy for select groups of people who need an economically viable nation to help their own survival.

Based on this story and reports from everywhere else, the COVID death stats are inflated by 2,000%, not 25%.3 years agoBy March I realized that the more socialist is a US State’s or European country’s leadership, the more covid19 victims they have. But I think the virus is “racist”, and doesn’t like commies.
