Story continues below advertisementA police officer was stabbed in the neck and several others attacked Saturday at a riot over the death of George Floyd in Jacksonville, Florida.
“They attacked several police officers. They vandalized several police cars, attempting to light them on fire, breaking windows. We have one officer who was stabbed — was slashed in the neck and is currently at the hospital,” stated Sheriff Mike Williams.
The sheriff and Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry said the demonstration began peacefully but later took a turn for the worse, according to News 4 Jax.
About 1,200 people came to the event that was scheduled to start at 3 PM, and Williams said the organizers showed “really good cooperation.”
However, after the majority of people went home around 6:30 p.m., about 200 people stayed to confront the police, and that was when the officers were attacked.
At 8:45 p.m., there were still about 100 rioters downtown, and officers planned to have crews remain as the evening progressed.
“All this ends when these rioters go home,” Williams explained, adding, “This is a small group that stuck around to create chaos.”
Later, Mayor Curry said he and fellow leaders would work with peaceful protesters but offered a stern warning to those who used violence:
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) wrote on social media that the violence was not coming from real protesters but from “professional agitators with an unrelated agenda.”
“Many of these professional agitators don’t fit a simple left vs right identity. They are part of a growing anti-government extremist movement,” he continued, adding, “They hate law enforcement & want to tear the whole system down even if it requires a new civil war.”
Mayor Curry said there were young people at the event making their voices heard in a respectful way, but when they left, the ones who remained were not there for peace.
“It’s not about reform. It’s not about change. It’s about violence,” he noted. “Police officers have been attacked, and we’re not going to tolerate it in our city. We’re not going to let them burn our city to the ground.”

We were all in the same place, that we did, when a negro poeleese thing shot an unarmed, pajama clad white woman, not being arrested for anything.
We did nothing, as the negro poeleese thing stayed on paid, yes fully paid, leave for approximately six months … And, was not even charged, with a crime, for close to a year.

It was a negro poeleese thing that murdered an unarmed white woman, in cold blood. One that had committed no crime. One that was not under arrest or even under suspicion. However, the negro poeleese thing was kept on PAID leave for quite some time. And, how long did it take for it to even be charged?
Where were the burning poeleese stations? Where were the Mercedes dealerships broken into and vehicles stolen? Where was the “peaceful protests” with multiple millions of dollars of stolen merchandise?

She was the one who called 911 and cop got scared and fired at her because her heard a loud noise. Many Somalis in Minnesota and Maine have been attacking whites. One incident in a Maine park. Little video and never made the news.

Nine days, following Missouri’s “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” a negro poeleese thing, in Salt Lake City, shot an unarmed white man, at point blank range. Video footage from in front of the convenience store showed the murder in its entirety. Claim was … “I thought that he had a gun and was going for it”. Of course, NO firearm was found. And, what happened to that murderer? It as placed on PAID administrative leave, then placed on desk duty. NO charges were ever filed.

The Floyd killing had two crimes involved at a minimum. Floyd was trying to pass off phony money and got arrested. We can all understand this was the first crime. The second crime occurred when Mr. Floyd refused to get into the police car while explaining he was too claustrophobic. That was his second mistake, and resisting is also a crime. (Too claustrophobic)?
The police could not let him go, but they certainly had no reason to try to kill him, but if he didn’t stop resisting, the police could not stop their actions either. I have dealt with unruly arrestees, and they can be more than a handful, and you can’t let them win. Mr. Floyd was a big man, so he would not be treated with kid gloves. (He was called a “gentle giant” but worked as a bouncer, so, WTF)?
Anybody who watches MMA on TV knows how the “Sleeper Hold” works. It causes hypoxemia, slowly putting a person to sleep. If applied too long, it brings death. So we understand what happened and why. It was a separate crime.
Rioters really don’t have any “skin” in this game. For them, this is an excuse to run wild. It is also an opportunity to strike back at the government because they are frustrated about life, and we can also see that riots broke out where there was no racial strife. (Rodeo Drive)?
We need to look at who has gained and who has lost. Racial harmony has taken two giant leaps backward, and George Soros has increased his influence with ANTIFA.
The crimes involving the setting of fires and looting will set cities back about ten years before they begin to rebound. Many businesses will never come back, and it will take years before their services get replaced. Some owners were insured, but not all were covered for riots. In some way, the costs incurred will be spread out, and we will all have to pay for this damage.

That was not, nor should it have been an issue. When you are arrested, rightly or wrongly, you do not have a right to resist. The fairness of the arrest is an issue to be determined by the court.
The counterfeit money could have been real, but that would be for the courts to decide.
Never fight the cops when they have committed to action. They can get reinforcements quicker than you, and you can’t outrun a radio.
