Poll: 73.6% of Israelis support “annexation”

7

According to a poll conducted by the Direct Poll Research Institute, 73.5% of Israelis support Prime Minister Netanyahu’s plan to “annex” parts of Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.

Before going into the juicy details of the poll, let me correct one common mistake: it is not an annexation. You cannot annex something that belongs to you. Israel is not annexing, he is retaking its sovereignty over the historically Jewish region of Judea and Samaria. He is liberating the West Bank from the illegal occupiers.

Now the poll’s results.

  • A little more than 47 percent of English-speaking Israelis said they support Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan, 31.1% said they were against, while 27.7% answered they “don’t know.”
  • Among French speakers, support for the plan is way higher with a staggering 90.1% of Israel’s French-speaking people supporting the move and only 6% opposed.
  • Only 15.7% of all respondents said that they are against the plan.

The poll surveyed 464 people in Israel, English or French speakers aged 18-years and upward.

The Israeli French-speakers are culturally known to lean more to the right than Jewish immigrants coming from the Anglo-Saxon nations.

As a whole, Israelis love Trump more than almost any other nation on earth including the United States, poll shows. 69 percent of Israelis express confidence in Trump as president, compared with 28 percent in U.K. and 30 percent in Japan. And 63% percent said Obama was the worst for Israel over the last 30 years.

I support annexation. The towel heads will whine if they do, and they’ll whine if the don’t. Either way, I think Istael should do it.

An interesting statistic because 20% of Israelis are f’ing muslums. It would’ve been more interesting to see this statistic broken out by religion — but of course such statistics are deliberately suppressed and obfuscated.

It’s not “annexation”. It is the legal acknowledgement of land taken from Israel in war that was subsequently recovered by Israel in war. ALL wars that were instigated by the Arab states. It really frosts me that this point is so rarely made. Why do we let the left control the narrative?
