Mike Garcia is going to pull out a win for the Republicans in deep blue CA-25. This is a huge upset, and a very bad omen for the Dems. It shows that with the right candidate the Republicans can win anywhere. We will be hearing a-lot from Mike Garcia in the years to come. This is the best time for the GOP to field young and dynamic candidates in California and elsewhere. Americans are fed up with the Democrat Party’s corruption, tyranny and radicalism.

Big Congressional win in California for Mike Garcia, taking back a seat from the Democrats. This is the first time in many years that a California Dem seat has flipped back to a Republican. Also, Tom Tiffany beat his Democrat rival BIG in Wisconsin. Two great Congressional WINS!

The DNC invested heavily in an expensive special election race in California's 25th Congressional District. A district they won by 9% in 2018.

Republican Garcia takes big lead in nationally watched 25th Congressional District race
By Ventura County Star, May 13, 2020
Republican Mike Garcia jumped to a commanding lead over Democrat Christy Smith in a nationally watched special election Tuesday to win office in a 25th Congressional District both parties see as their turf.
With 140,755 votes counted in an election conducted almost totally by mail because of COVID-19, Garcia held 56 percent of the vote. Smith gained 44 percent of the vote.
The early returns represent mostly vote-by-mail ballots. More than 420,000 ballots were mailed to voters in Los Angeles and Ventura counties and more are expected to arrive at election offices later this week. They need to be postmarked no later than Tuesday.
More results from Los Angeles County, including ballots dropped off at polls and people who voted in-person, are expected later tonight. No more Ventura County tallies are expected until Wednesday afternoon.
The winner fills a seat vacated in November when Democrat Katie Hill resigned amid allegations of inappropriate relationships with staff members. The term expires in January.
Garcia, the former Navy fighter pilot, and Assemblywoman Smith of Santa Clarita will face off again on Nov. 3 for a full two-year term. The 25th District runs from Santa Clarita to Simi Valley with about 70,000 registered voters in Ventura County and more than 350,000 in Los Angeles County.
It’s a swing district held by Republicans since 1993 until Hill claimed it for the Democrats in 2018. If Garcia wins, it would be the first California congressional seat flipped from the Democrats to Republicans in 22 years.
