Facebook ‘Supreme Court’ Packed with Anti-Trump, Progressive Figures

Facebook has released a list of the first 20 members of its “Oversight Board,” a semi-independent body the social network is setting up that will have the power to decide whether content banned by Facebook stays banned or is restored on appeal. Members include the former editor-in-chief of the Guardian and a “human rights expert” who is part of George Soros’ Open Society project.
Colloquially known as the “Facebook Supreme Court,” the idea for the body was hatched by Harvard Law professor Noah Feldman, a liberal academic and one of the Democrats’ “expert witnesses” during the impeachment hearings. Also involved in the body’s development was a progressive non-profit, BSR.
The 20 members announced by Facebook today include progressive, left-wing, and mainstream media figures who have been highly critical of President Trump.
One addition is Alan Rusbridger, formerly editor-in-chief of the Guardian, the U.K.’s leading left-wing newspaper. His appointment to Facebook’s Oversight Board — and the lack of any figures from conservative media — has already drawn condemnation from Conservative Party MPs in the U.K.
Damian Green MP, a member of the U.K. Parliament’s committee on Culture, Media, and Sport, said that Facebook “fails miserably to provide confidence in its political balance.”
“Globally, Facebook is much more important than any newspaper or broadcaster, so it has a consequent responsibility to demonstrate it is open to a range of views,” he continued.
Alan Rusbridger and the Guardian are more infamous in Britain than the U.S., but the former editor-in-chief is no fan of Trump. In September 2017, he expressed his support for Robert Mueller’s “obstruction of justice” investigation against Trump.

Another member of Facebook’s Supreme Court is Tawakkul Karman.

Everywhere in the USA today, [see maps] people are searching for info about the Fauci deep state scandal. They are NOT looking for ‘masks’, or ‘cats can get Covid’, they are looking for “hidden agenda behind Covid” etc. These are millions of searches, today. And yet the MSM is not covering this scandal. Therefore, these Google searchers are learning about Fauci and the rest from places like Geller Report. Without writers like Pamela Geller, this scandal would never have been exposed.

Yes, ‘Duck Duck Go’ and ‘Start Page’ are much better, and they don’t track you like Google does. Those two complement each other, giving slightly different results. The google trends data is just for topics that are searched. That exposes the levels of public interest on any topic.
Right now today, millions are Googling “dr rashid buttar covid Bill Gates” and similar topics. Compared to normal day-to-day background topics like ‘Kim Kardashian’, it’s huge, and even much bigger than ‘Trump’.

Employees tasked with moderating Facebook content reportedly worked under nightmarish conditions exposed by a series of investigations published by The Verge earlier this year.
According to the investigations, content moderators were expected to sift through graphic violence, hate speech, and sexually explicit posts for $15 per hour, and many said they suffered psychologically.

A lady, who founded a Protestant group in Germany called the Sisterhood of Mary, said Germany went the route it did because German Christians did not stand up against Hitler. The same is happening in the USA. I’ve been railed against for saying I as a Christian am they government and must influence it. He said his government is in Heaven. Dear Pamela,
One of my pet peeves is referring to leftists and socialists as “progressives.” These people are anything but progressive. One America News quotes President Calvin Coolidge characterizing these people as “regressives.” He is surely correct. What was true in the 1920s remains true today, 100 years later. The true radicals that founded our constitution and fought for our country were probably never a large majority. Many supported the monarchy. New York was a hotbed of loyalist sympathy. In the Civil War, again, New York was the leading area controlled by the copperheads. A leopard cannot change its spots. Many of these people are still dedicated royalists supporting a strong , all-powerful government, Today we know them as “Democrats.” They believe in a rigged election, coercion and taxation as a means of punishing the successful. Please refrain from calling these people progressives. You are a progressive. I would like to think that I am truly a progressive.

The use of language and terms or words is important. Which is why the left so rabidly Otrwellian tries to suppress use of words other than the intentionally misleading ones they want. One example is the purloined term “progressive”. The last real “progressives died out a century ago, not that the passing of this leftist movement is something to be mourned. When so many communist governments fell, they de facto communists and socialists recast themselves as “environmentalists” then as “progressives”. They are nothing more than recycled communists and should be called neo-marxists, which is what they really are. The cute “regressive” some use still helps the Orwellian self stylers with their deception and charade. Insist on calling them, not “progressive”,.but neo-marxist.
