Nothing like proving a point.
A professor is facing death threats for suggesting otherwise. Nicholas Damask, Ph.D., has taught political science at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona for 24 years. But now he is facing a barrage of threats, and his family, including his 9-year-old grandson and 85-year-old parents, is in hiding, while College officials are demanding that he apologize – all for the crime of speaking the truth about the motivating ideology behind the threat of Islamic jihad worldwide.
Damask, who has an MA in International Relations from American University in Washington, DC, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati, says he is “to my knowledge, the only tenured political science faculty currently teaching in Arizona to write a doctoral dissertation on terrorism.” He has taught Scottsdale Community College’s World Politics for each of the 24 years he has worked at the school.

This will teach those Islamophobes that Islam is a religion of peace: a professor is facing death threats for suggesting otherwise. Nicholas Damask, Ph.D., has taught political science at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona for 24 years. But now he is facing a barrage of threats, and his family, including his 9-year-old grandson and 85-year-old parents, is in hiding, while College officials are demanding that he apologize – all for the crime of speaking the truth about the motivating ideology behind the threat of Islamic jihad worldwide.
Damask, who has an MA in International Relations from American University in Washington, DC, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati, says he is “to my knowledge, the only tenured political science faculty currently teaching in Arizona to write a doctoral dissertation on terrorism.” He has taught Scottsdale Community College’s World Politics for each of the 24 years he has worked at the school.
Professor Damask’s troubles began during the current Spring semester, when a student took exception to three quiz questions. The questions were:
- Who do terrorists strive to emulate? A. Mohammed
- Where is terrorism encouraged in Islamic doctrine and law? A. The Medina verses [i.e., the portion of the Qur’an traditionally understood as having been revealed later in Muhammad’s prophetic career]
- Terrorism is _______ in Islam. A. justified within the context of jihad.
Damask explained: “All quiz questions on each of my quizzes, including the ones in question here, are carefully sourced to the reading material. On this quiz, questions were sourced to the Qur’an, the hadiths, and the sira (biography) of Mohammed, and other reputable source material.” And indeed, the three questions reflect basic facts that are readily established by reference to Islamic texts and teachings and numerous statements of terrorists themselves.
Despite this, the student emailed Damask to complain that he was “offended” by these questions, as they were “in distaste of Islam.” Damask recounted: “Until this point, notably, the student had expressed no reservations about the course material and indeed he said he enjoyed the course.”
Damask sent two lengthy emails to the student responding to his complaints, but to no avail. A social media campaign began against Damask on the College’s Instagram account. Damask notes: “An unrelated school post about a school contest was hijacked, with supporters of the student posting angry, threatening, inflammatory and derogatory messages about the quiz, the school, and myself.”
At this point, College officials should have defended Professor Damask and the principle of free inquiry, but that would require a sane academic environment. Scottsdale Community College officials, Damask said, “stepped in to assert on a new Instagram post that the student was correct and that I was wrong – with no due process and actually no complaint even being filed – and that he would receive full credit for all the quiz questions related to Islam and terrorism.”

I am sorry but cute Michonne, handy Daryl and challenging Carol were all hired by the Chinese CCP. China has his own issue with local population that needed special care with enhanced chop chop technics! Also they released some deadly beasts from a lab without proper personal protection coats, so they extended the working period of the team. On May 1, Damask had a conference call with Kathleen Iudicello, Scottsdale Community College’s Dean of Instruction, and Eric Sells, the College’s Public Relations Marketing Manager. Damask recalls: “I was not offered to write any part of the school’s response, and there was no discussion of academic freedom or whether the College was even supportive of me to teach about Islamic terrorism. The very first point I made with them on the call (and virtually the only input I had) is that I insisted that the College’s release was to have no mention of any actions to be required to be taken by me personally, I was very clear about that.”
Predictably, Iudicello and Sells ignored that. They issued an apology to the student and to the “Islamic community,” and stated on the College’s Instagram page that Damask would be “required” to apologize to the student for the quiz questions, as the questions were “inappropriate” and “inaccurate,” and would be permanently removed from Damask’s exams.
Damask also had three phone calls with Iudicello, who gave him a bracing introduction into today’s academic funhouse world, where if someone is offended by the truth, it’s the truth that has to be deep-sixed. “During one call with Iudicello,” Damask recounts, “she stated that my quiz questions were ‘Islamophobic,’ that before continuing to have any further class content on Islamic terrorism I would likely need to meet with an Islamic religious leader to go over the content, and that I would likely need to take a class (perhaps at Arizona State) taught by a Muslim before teaching about Islamic terrorism.”
“The irony here,” says Damask, “is that literally during this phone call, (with Ludicello) I and my wife were tossing socks and jammies and our nine-year-old grandson’s toys into a suitcase to get the hell out of the house because of the death threats made by Islamic commenters on the College’s Instagram page.”
According to Damask, “there are literally hundreds of posts like this. There have been death threats, at least one call for a school shooting, and at least one call to burn down the school. Again, all of these threats are still on the College’s Instagram page.” When he asked school police to shut down the social media posts in light of these threats, they told him the posts were being monitored. Yet the threats were not taken down.

“It goes without saying,” says Damask, “that I will not apologize for anything, that it is perfectly appropriate to discuss Islam, Muhammad, the Quran, the hadiths and any other matter related to Islamic terrorism. Incidentally: there has been no official complaint, no due process for me, just a mad scramble by the school to appease Islam.”

Imagine discovering that you, a Ph.D in political science, are working in an “academic” community full of groveling tools of a 1400 year old desert nomad cult that teaches the virtue of beheading non-believers, and that the tools refuse to stand in your defense when you are being threatened with death by the “modern” mind-slaves of said cult! There is no such thing as Islamophobia.
It’s not islamophobia when they really do want to assault, rape or kill you. The threats posed by Islam and its adherents are quite real.
Phobias are irrational. Nothing irrational about fearing an ideology that seeks to destroy the civilization that your ancestors have been building for 3000 years.

Imagine how/why the academic elites, who have controlled the education system across western civilization, forgot to read 3 books (the doctrine of Islam: Koran, Sira, Hadith) that define Islam, and forgot to read the bloody 1400 year of Islam that matches the doctrine of Islam.
From time to time the big brains with diabolical intentions need to be dragged from their positions of influence and treated unkindly. The same goes for the financial and political elite who bankroll and empower them. They are all like minded, and they work as a tag team to deceive and rob and murder and rule innocent people.
There shouldn’t be a Muslim on our soil.

The doctrine if Islam defines a civilization of intolerance and conquest that includes a mandatory religion. The religion and the civilization are both defined by the same doctrine. It’s not possible to be part of one and not the other. The religion (belief in Allah) requires the imitation of Mohammed. Allah commands all Muslims to imitate Mohammed. Mohammed is the blueprint for all Muslim behavior. Mohammed was the epitome of intolerance, among many other terrible things. The civilization of Islam can never change because the blueprint is dead. Mohammed is not worshiped, he is imitated.

I tend to agree with many of your ideas. But I see some problems. A religion implies to some extend to have the concept of deity. But Islam has no god. Allah commands nobody in Islam. Mohammad commands and rules every bit of the life of obedient muslims. There is no communication between Muslims and Allah, only between Muslims and the everlasting command of Mohammad. The obedients of Islam are taught, they are told what to do. Mohammad commands. The creator of the idolatry started to get shy because he felt lonely being the ONE, himself all alone as a deity ; imagine, it is not trending because the marketing is weak. He needs magic so he added the eternal tie of him and god : God is a huge trending value on any media, a great value for a writer, invisible and almighty, a dreamcatcher for every mind. More important, just do not think by yourself, Just do it: (Apostate Prophet voice) ask your imam because he knows the business. The only cure of Islam is individualism. Make a Muslim aware of himself and his capabilities, the options of acting positively on his world : sooner or later, he will become an apostate. No one with a bit of sense needs Mohammad. Not a single soul. Islam is a ponzi scheme, a monopolistic company. At the end, everyone lose, the only winner is Mohammad. Apply the antitrust laws, break the scheme, drop the CEO, (David Wood voice) just fire Mohammad.

When Mohammed was young, his grandfather worshiped 1 of ~360 gods at that time. That god was called Allah…
When Muslims say allahu akbar while they murder, they’re saying “my god is greater than your god” (and the proof is the fact that your god didn’t stop me from murdering you). They murder as Mohammed murdered. They don’t say Mohammed is greater than your god. They don’t call Mohammed a god, they call him the messenger of Allah, or prophet of Allah.
They don’t imitate Mohammed because they idolize him, they imitate Mohammed because the god they believe in commands them to, in something like 90 verses in the Koran. Allah tells Muslims that Mohammed is the perfect example of a human being.
The business part of Islam is taking everything from the conquered and using them as slaves, as Mohammed did.

There’s a difference between leftists and liberals. Leftists are more extreme. They know what they aspire to – total control of anyone that opposes their ideology. Liberals are less extreme, generally less committed, but more easily deceived into supporting causes they don’t fully understand the ramifications of. Hence the image is correct.

I agree completely with your sentiments, but it matters little what ‘we’ call it. It has been defined as a religion and what realistic or timely way is there to adequately challenge that.

Every single one of the nations in that first line, is a complete write off. The sheep of Canada just elected the most leftist representatives (Liberals, NDPs, Greens) ever in their history, and while most don’t support increased ‘immigration’, their leadership certainly does (die now, die later…end result still the same…on their way to replicating their homeland).
In Britain, Islam is now so intertwined into that society that extrication would be impossible without a drawn out civil war. They come in and learn all about the laws, particularly civil law, becoming lobbyists and lawyers (Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London), all while ‘laying low’ and using ‘Taqiyya” to avert attention. Then the political office, infiltration into civil/military forces and educational systems comes next (could you just imagine Churchill’s reaction, “You let them be police, you let them into the army, you let them run the Home Office”…the rest would all be muffled by the strange whirring sound emanating from his grave), all while crying and playing the ‘race’ and ‘human rights’ card. Like a cancer that has metastasized… catch it early enough and the prognosis is good, wait too long or miss it and its cyalaterAllahgator.
The US didn’t vote out those ‘leaders’, they voted one man, and as we have seen, the swamp covers from one end to the other with patches of firm ground here and there. I think even Trump was taken back by the extent of it (I can remember the first salvo…Yates defying the President …I was shocked). And all of this analysis lacks the metaphysical component… the ‘principalities and powers of the air’, and more significantly, the withdrawal of God’s blessings. Schitt, Nadler and a lot of others: offer them a quran and isolate them a long time in Guantanamo so they learn every bit of knowledge from their chicom master’s marketing team. It was a muslum (in the Iraqi air force I believe) who nailed the USS Start w/an exocet missile (thanks Fwance!).
There have been two attacks by f’ing muslums on US embassies/diplomatic compounds in Benghazi — the first one was in the late 1960’s (possibly after the Six Day War and maybe even in response to it), in that attack the British came to save the US embassy personnel and I believe they had to kill f’ing muslums to do it.

I agree with every bit of painful head-shaking and sentiment that goes with it, but you must ask yourself, we all must ask ourselves, how is it that we missed the demise of America (all of the West for that matter).
Did we say, “Yes, Lord” or was it more like, “Screw that, who needs that ancient claptrap”. We thumbed our noses at the greatest blessings a nation ever had, now we reap what we have sown and there is no longer any stopping it.
Islam this and Islam that, is all true. It is not a religion of peace, never has been, yet Bush and Obama proclaimed it to be. Presidents, lying to your faces and being believed by gullible uneducated dupes. But it matters nothing now. Rant all we want, no one is listening.You want to know who did this, all of us.

The legislation, which phased out the national origins quota system first instituted in 1921, created the foundation of today’s immigration law. And, contrary to the president’s assertions, it inaugurated a new era of mass immigration which has affected the lives of millions.
Despite modifications, the framework established by the 1965 act remains intact today. And, while the reform proposals now being discussed in Congress, the administration, and the Commission on Immigration Reform would reduce the total number of legal immigrants, they would maintain the fundamentals of the 1965 act — family reunification and employment preferences. So it behooves us on this 30th anniversary to look at the act and the expectations its sponsors had for it.

The Hart-Celler Act of 1965:
Established the basic structure of today’s immigration law.
Abolished the national origins quota system (originally established in 1921 and most recently modified in 1952), while attempting to keep immigration to a manageable level. Family reunification became the cornerstone of U.S. immigration policy.
Allocated 170,000 visas to countries in the Eastern Hemisphere and 120,000 to countries in the Western Hemisphere. This increased the annual ceiling on immigrants from 150,000 to 290,000. Each Eastern-Hemisphere country was allowed an allotment of 20,000 visas, while in the Western Hemisphere there was no per-country limit. This was the first time any numerical limitation had been placed on immigration from the Western Hemisphere. Non-quota immigrants and immediate relatives (i.e., spouses, minor children, and parents of U.S. citizens over the age of 21) were not to be counted as part of either the hemispheric or country ceiling.
For the first time, gave higher preference to the relatives of American citizens and permanent resident aliens than to applicants with special job skills. The preference system for visa admissions detailed in the law (modified in 1990) was as follows:
1. Unmarried adult sons and daughters of U.S. citizens.
2. Spouses and children and unmarried sons and daughters of permanent resident aliens.
3. Members of the professions and scientists and artists of exceptional ability.
4. Married children of U.S. citizens.
5. Brothers and sisters of U.S. citizens over age twenty-one.
6. Skilled and unskilled workers in occupations for which there is insufficient labor supply.
7. Refugees given conditional entry or adjustment — chiefly people from Communist countries and the Middle East.
8. Applicants not entitled to preceding preferences — i.e., everyone else.

It is said that hindsight is 20/20, but as with NAFTA in the 90s I’m sure many saw the writing on the wall. The Hart – Cellar Act has been many things for America, and none of them good. I personally have been negatively impacted by this act for the last 30 years and didn’t even know it. This is the first time I’ve heard of it. Thanks for posting this.

It’s been a while since I read about it and got a bit disconbabulated with the numbering of the James’s.
Non the less the Scotts who stayed loyal to the crown had no desire to take a backward step and have a catholic monarch and thus they were not traitors in any way shape or form.
When I was a teen I read a series of books by John Prebble on that moment of history. That conflict has echoes that still resonate today with the SNP being allied to the EU just as the Jacobite Scotts were allied to the French who were then the arch enemy of England that we were yet to eclipse.
A true Scotsman should be hand in hand with his island brethren the English and the Welsh and fight the foreign foes from across the sea together.

I agree that national empires will not rise again, but I am wondering why you see it that way. I could easily see a savvy thinker looking at the current conditions (world economies, enormous divide in people’s perception of ‘truth’, crumbling civilizational foundations, and the rise of a new ‘world’ order), and conclude that western society, as it has been known for a very long time, is decidedly on the wane and in grave danger of complete collapse.
I too see those same things, but to me, apart from the ‘new order’, I view the rest as consequential symptoms of the West’s failure to hold to its Christian roots. A failure that began in the Christian church first, which then diluted the integrity of the faithful. Once that voice was distilled out of the public square, the influence upon society that it had, gave way to secular beliefs, and all of the social conditions that were previously upheld by God’s blessings, were no longer. Without those blessings, our once Christian nations have no chance of victory as nations (please take a quick read of Deuteronomy 28:49/50 for an explanation of Islam’s presence in the West)
All of this is happening within a backdrop of end-time prophecies being in various, advanced stages of development. These are developments that have never been as they are now and all of this points to not just that national empires will never rise again, but that this age of man is coming to its soon end according to the scriptures.
The only true hope we have left is an individual’s hope in Christ. I am not saying that we should just role over and not bother to fight for our rights. I believe we should fight and not let them just be taken away, but to do that, we need people who can look through the deceptions that our ‘leaders’ are putting in our path and realize what their intents are (a good example of this is this recent crisis being let out to spread world wide and our leadership ‘pretending’ as though there were no plans or protocols to contain or subdue it…the number of ‘intents’ the new order had resting on the chaos it produced are multi-folded).
These dark forces will win soon, and mainly because God is now allowing them to. His hand has been lifted; those blessings are no longer on us, and victory for our nations has already become unattainable. Only the individual on a personal level can find victory with God through Christ now.

Okay, no one threatened to kill me — they just fired me from my job of 16 years/ I was fired in the best cultural revolution style, and the door was left open to frighten the other workers in case they have deviationist, non pc thoughts. that if there was an Islamic terror attack.
What is funny about the lead up to my firing was that if there was an Islamic terror attack at my former place of work, I had planned an escape route so there would be a chance that I wouldn’t get killed. I knew they didn’t like me talking political talk, so I learned some electronics so I could talk about capacitors and mofset transistors color tvs; etc., instead of anything relating to current events. Unfortunately, there was a… semi attractive, younger female next to me and I expressed my concerns that the devout muslim fellow seemed as if he was pacing the place. This was at the time of the Ramadon bombathon in which Arriiana Grande concert goers were blown up Muslim revelers at the London Bridge were stabbing people, saying “this is for Allah.” Un like Juan Williams, I didn’t want to make it as if I was concerned for my own skin, so I explained it as chivalry toward a female co worker. And since I read our heroine and her partner-in-crime, Robert Spencer, I also quoted Ibn Kathir’s interpretation is koranic injunction 8:28. The young lady got offended by my attemp to warn her (toxic masculinity, I guess) and ran to the head to report my…bigotry. And the rest is the history of being fired.
Again, I was not threatened as this professor was, but I was fired and after that some people wanted to interview me. They spoke over the phone and offered me $50.00 for the interview, but I suspected they had some other reason and I decided not to go. I suspect they were going to blast me for my thought crime and my…bigotry/toxic masculinity.
The moral of this story is that if you tell the truth about Islam — even using legitimate Islamic sources — expect trouble. The trouble may be so bad that one will have to do a citizen’s arrest to the offender, using Title 18: 242 or maybe Title 18: 241 and proceed from there with a lawsuit;etc. No one could help me with this and the color of law statute did not occur to me until later.
