I wouldn’t be here today’: Detroit lawmaker thanks Trump at the White House for pushing for hydroxychloroquine

A Democratic state lawmaker from Detroit, who credits a drug touted by President Trump with saving her life after she fell ill with the coronavirus, traveled to the White House to thank him personally.
Story continues below advertisement“I just can’t say how wonderful it is to see your face, and thank you for everything that you have done,” said state Rep. Karen Whitsett. “I did not know that saying thank you had a political line. I did not know that. I thought just saying thank you meant thank you.”
Whitsett announced last month she tested positive for COVID-19 and started taking hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial drug, after she began showing symptoms.
“Had you not brought this to the forefront of the HQ, of being able to put this out here, I wouldn’t be here today to even have this conversation,” she told Trump.
Trump has said doctors should consider using hydroxychloroquine to treat critically-ill coronavirus patients. Some media reports suggest Trump has something to gain financially from the drug’s increased use.
“It’s a powerful drug on malaria, and there are scientific works on this. Some strong signs,” Trump has said about the drug. “What do you have to lose? If it does work, it would be a shame if we didn’t do it early.”

The left do not want hydroxychloroquine as it would slow the infections. The left want to destroy the Judo/Christian structure. It is failing as the Globalist was to be signing a Global Education Pact but has been postponed to mid October.

G-d bless Karen Whitsett. Listening to her in the video, she doesn’t sound like a politician when speaking, let alone a democRAT. You can see and hear that she means what she says…..glad to see she is better.

I appreciate Ms. Whitsett’s comments and am happy she has recovered. I hope she rethinks her affiliation with the Dem party.
