President Trump Joins in Easter Blessing from Oval Office: ‘We Place Our Trust in the Hands of Almighty God’

By CBN, April 10, 2020:

On Good Friday, President Donald Trump participated in an Easter Blessing with Bishop Harry Jackson in the Oval Office in the White House.

Story continues below advertisement

Jackson is a Christian preacher and Pentecostal bishop who serves as the senior pastor at Hope Christian Church in Beltsville, Maryland, and also serves as the presiding bishop of the International Communion of Evangelical Churches.

“As our nation battles the invisible enemy, we reaffirm that Americans believe in the power of prayer. We give thanks for the majesty of creation and for the gift of eternal life and we place our trust in the hands of almighty God.”

President Trump also began Friday’s Coronavirus Task Force briefing by recognizing Easter.

“This Sunday, millions of Christians will celebrate Easter. At this holy time, we pray that God will heal the sick and comfort the heartbroken and bless our heroes.”

Nice blessing by Trump, ‘We Place Our Trust in the Hands of Almighty God’

However, We elected Trump ………….not God.

Trump could declare an ‘Emergency National Security Declaration,’ God can’t.

Trump then could, deport all illegal aliens and he promised 4 years ago. God can’t.
Trump then could, deport all muslims as the avowed threats they are. God can’t.

3-1/4 years wasted! Happy Easter!

Trump could begin to end the stranglehold the communist/globalist have managed to place on America and her people, but he hasn’t as yet, and the situation gets worse with each day. We can trust in The Dear Lord to help us, but we need to help ourselves. President Trump is the only one who can give the word now.

The wall is helping to keep them out and that was quite a battle. For money he had to once again go to the Supreme Court for fjustifying how he is funding it, whereas other Presidents have done the same thing with no fanfare.

Well, I love you, Charlie …

… but, no, Trump cannot ‘declare’ anything or do anything of the sort.

Contrary to popular opinion, Trump is not a dictator, and he does not wield that sort of power – even if the courts and the media supported him, such a disruption to the nation’s current demography would be nearly impossible.

For one reason being that the minimum number of illegals – just those we can identify – is well north of 40MM people – excluding those with amnesty or DACA claims.

And of course – the courts would strike any such motion down – though they would allow an Obamessiah to deport Americans if it served the Left’s purpose. And the media would go nuts with video “proof” of ‘racism’ and ‘discrimination’ against criminals.

The President is having enough trouble building a wall and deporting the dangerous, violent criminals no one wants. But that’s not all.

The President’s own party – the RepublikkkRats – are still largely anti-Trump and anti-American. They only support him because they would be destroyed by his voter base if they didn’t. Us long time news-junkies have been well aware of this for decades – and have tried to explain that the 99% traitor party is better than the 100% enemy party – to little avail.

A good example of this problem is just the President’s counsel on Voter Fraud. Without Voter Fraud, the Demokkkrats would cease to exist … but the President could not even get the “RepublikkkRats” to cooperate with his investigation. The Republikkkrats and Never Trumpers opposed auditing the voter rolls as hard as the Demokkkrats … because they are birds of a feather.

So the President’s power can be great in some ways – and even fantastically fascist if it aligns with the interests of the Deep State …

… but if it’s merely the right thing to do … he’s almost powerless. Law is for peasants. The Constitution is Kleenex. And morality and ethics have even less value.

Trump has a long way to go before he can fully address a lot of these issues.

Stay safe up there, and you and yours have a wonderful weekend!

You won’t get through to him…

Trump never said he’d deport all Muslims and of course you know Trump is not a dictator and needs the help of Congress and the Senate to change our immigration laws as well as money to deport illegals from Congress to fund it. etc…

To enforce existing immigration laws IS within the purview of the Executive Branch. Moreover, it is the presidents DUTY to do so.
Yet, talk of only arresting, trying, and deporting “serious criminals” that also happen to be illegal aliens.
The law states to arrest, detain, try, and deport ALL illegal aliens.

Suresh

Agree. He has the Power to deport Illegals. And serious criminals under national security threat.

felix1999
felix1999

He doesn’t have the money or the human resources to deport them all. So he was trying to be reasonable and deport criminals for starters. Even that was disagreeable to the DEMS and the GOP. Add to that laws that give illegals rights. That shouldn’t have happened either and has been in place long before Trump came along.

We can’t even deport illegal kids! Our lovely Supreme Court declared you can’t do that. So they bring the kiddies and we get to educate them too.

Then you have the issue of state vs federal. It is a mess. We have corruption all over the place.

It should be federal trumps state over immigration but tell that to activist judges. Trump couldn’t even end DACA. That is supposed to be decided in June by the Supreme Court. I would think DACA is a no brainer for being unConstitutional. Yet, not a peep from the GOP or DEMS when Obama came up with DAPA or DACA. With few exceptions, neither party cares about our country being over run with people that are not here legally.

Both parties want open borders and mass immigration. Their reasoning for votes or cheap labor is short sighted and stupid. If it continues we will eventually have people like Omar and Bernie running our country.

Even exercising something as benign as a travel ban had to go up to the Supreme Court. Previous Presidents including Obama used that with no push back. Both parties fight him in enforcing exisitng law.

Don’t get me wrong. Personally speaking, I want them ALL GONE. I also know it won’t happen with what is in place unless laws change and there is funding to enforce it. We have too many laws that protect illegals.

Both parties want open borders. And, so does the president. Actions speak far louder than words.
And, the Administration has ample funds to deport millions. Just not all at once. However, look at the appropriations. There’s a great deal of money given.

I can hadly take it in that you think Trump wants OPEN BORDERS!
Both of us don’t want mass immigration but that is going to far

NO we don’t have “ample funds” for it. Funds shifted around have restrictions. You can’t just take money from bucket A and shift it to bucket B. Otherwise we could work around line item veto and do that. Congress holds the purse strings.

The Administration had more than enough funds to have deported tens of thousands of illegal aliens. Multiple groups of tens of thousands, out of the money that the House allocated.
I DO want mass immigration. If an illegal alien is in this nation, whether they have family and ties or not … deport the criminals.

This wasn’t a “nice blessing”; it was a stupid, irrational example of wishful thinking based purely on self delusion..
However, what you wrote about illegal aliens and Muslims was spot on, except that God can’t get rid of them because there is no God.

Well wingnut God created the universe and Trump too- who is acknowledging this with respect for His Providencial Hand such as sincere Faith will allow in the affair’s of mankind.

WE are not robots but have choices individually for our lives, family and nation = Trump is leader of our nation making these choices in light of wise discretionary wisdom.

You …? not so much in denigrating he and WE as well as the Creator God and out heritage of Faith as distinctly set forth in the first two parts of the 1st Amendment in the Bill of Right in our Constitution…thanks for reading and pondering…!

for the 1st Easter Celebration occuring in my70 years .. a Sitting American President deserves the description..
‘ Righteous’..

on Tuesday.. April 14.. NUKE IRAN !!
that also deserves the coloring adjective usage of. ‘Righteous’…

“President Trump Joins in Easter Blessing from Oval Office: ‘We Place Our Trust in the Hands of Almighty God’.
What a bunch of mind-boggling CR@P!!!!
That our president is telling us that during this pandemic, and the monstrous, multifaceted chaos it has caused, we should place our trust in the hands of an “Almighty God” for whom there is not, nor has there EVER been, the slightest bit of proof or evidence should raise a red flag the size of Alaska for all Trump supporters.
In the photo at the top of this article, Trump is shown sitting at his desk supposedly praying (pretending to talk to someone who isn’t there). That the president of our country would ever engage in such irrefutably idiotic behavior is woefully unacceptable and a clear sign that he is mentally unfit to hold our highest office – unless this was just an act he was putting on for the cameras and to sustain the support of the religious.
Now if in this picture, Trump was just pretending to pray while really just taking a short power nap, at least that would serve some real, useful purpose.

I really feel sorry for you. Such extreme denial of the obvious. For you, He is not real.

Rom.1:20
[20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

God is not responsible for the actions of people. It is people that are responsible for their individual actions. He gives us free will. Followers are not robots. Your free will is that of unbelief! Reap the consequences of it and don’t complain about it.

Harvard Faith Groups Celebrate Easter and Passover Via Livestreams
TOM CICCOTTA
11 Apr 2020

Student faith organizations at Harvard University will be celebrating Easter Sunday and Passover on video conferences and live-streams this year as a result of the ongoing Chinese virus pandemic.
According to a report by the Crimson, faith organizations at Harvard University are devising creative ways of carrying out their religious celebrations. Both Christian and Jewish student groups have organized virtual replacements to the ceremonies that were scheduled to take place on campus.

Prager University announced this week that Dennis Prager would hold a virtual Passover Seder from his home. The Prager University website lists the standard Passover accoutrements that are used during the Seder dinner so that viewers can follow along from their own home.

Greece: Christians cannot go to church for Easter on April 19,
but mosques still operating
APR 12, 2020 8:00 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER

Orthodox Easter this year falls on April 19, within the period of the suspension of daily services and sacraments, which goes until at least April 27. Some mosques, however, are still open. This is in keeping with the Qur’anic idea that the Muslims are the “best of people” (3:110) and the unbelievers are “the most vile of created beings” (98:6). The best of people should as a matter of course enjoy more rights than the most vile of created beings.
