Rush Limbaugh: Here’s The Real Reason Trump Is Not Pushing Back More On Fauci

By  James Barrett, DailyWire.com

On his popular program Tuesday, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh offered his theory on why President Trump is not pushing back more on the nation’s leading infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, at least “not publicly.”

Story continues below advertisement

One of the more prevalent COVID-19 crisis narratives pushed by the mainstream media is the supposed conflict between Trump and Fauci, who is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and one of the leading voices of the Coronavirus Task Force, which has directed the national response to the crisis. As the left-leaning media has repeatedly portrayed it, Fauci is supposedly at odds with Trump and rebuking him at nearly every turn — a narrative Fauci himself has refuted publicly.

Meanwhile, on the right, some have begun to criticize Fauci, casting him as an out-of-touch member of the elite and a product of the Washington “swamp” who Trump has trusted too much.

Limbaugh, as usual, has his own particular angle on the Trump-Fauci question. Asked by a caller Tuesday about why Trump seems to be “going along with everything” Fauci says, Limbaugh responded by offering his “take” on the issue.

“My take on Fauci is that it is a no-win to take on Fauci no matter what Trump wants to do,” said Limbaugh. “Fauci has had credibility with the American people for 40 years since the eighties, since the AIDS, HIV outbreak. And you have to pick your battles.”

“We don’t know how Trump is dealing with this privately,” Limbaugh stressed. “I’m telling you publicly he is not going to pick a fight with either Fauci or Team Scarf, not publicly.”

“Trump knows that the vast majority of people think and acknowledge that Fauci is a source authority on illness,” Rush explained. “The danger here is not that Fauci is an expert on that stuff. That can’t be denied. The danger is that we can’t be putting him in charge of when to open schools and when to open the NFL and when to do this or that.”

“You got a guy up there, Fauci, with 40 years’ experience, approval, credibility, authority,” Limbaugh continued after a break. “It just isn’t gonna happen publicly… In fact, I’ll tell you, if anybody is moving in any direction, it’s Dr. Fauci. Dr. Fauci has been asked twice in the last two briefings, essentially, ‘Please tell us that this guy’s an idiot. Please tell us that this guy’s an idiot and you’re saving him. Please tell us that he’s making you say things. Please tell us, Dr. Fauci, that Trump is making you say things and agree with him,’ and Fauci said, ‘Nope. Not happening.’”

As Limbaugh referenced, Fauci has repeatedly pushed back on overt attempts by the media to get him to rebuke Trump and criticize his handling of the crisis. He has even specifically called out the media’s divisive tactics. Asked last month about media questions “designed to create a rift between you and the President of the United States,” the infectious disease expert replied:

That is really unfortunate. I would wish that that would stop because we have a much bigger problem here than trying to point out differences. There really, fundamentally at the core, when you look at things, there are not differences. The president has listened to what I have said and what the other people on the task force have said. When I have made recommendations he’s taken them; he’s never countered or overridden me; the idea of pitting one against the other is just not helpful. I wish that would stop and we’d look ahead at the challenge we have to pull together to get over this thing.

Limbaugh highlighted Fauci’s pushback against the attempt to drive a wedge between him and Trump, and the media’s consequent severe “frustration.”

“As I say, Dr. Fauci’s perfectly fine in terms of his medical qualifications to tell people about the virus and how it expands and how it can be dealt with and all that,” Limbaugh said. “But when Dr. Fauci is put in charge of when things reopen then that, to me, is going a little too far. And, of course, that’s something that media would love to happen. And they would love to be able to report that Fauci has taken over because he realizes Trump is an incompetent boob. That’s not going to happen, either… While many of you are sitting out there frustrated that Trump won’t do something about Fauci, let me tell you something: The real frustration is over at CNN and MSNBC that Fauci will not dump on Trump.”

I am just a disembodied word balloon on the internet, but you can look for yourself and see Fauci saying it was he and Brix that called for the “lockdown”. That was an extremely bold move that turned out to be unwarranted.

One of the advantages of being a word balloon is I can say – Fauci doesn’t know what he is talking about, and doesn’t want to take responsibility for his statements and actions.

This is the problem. Even if he an “expert” in HIV , does not make him expert in covid-19. This is highly contagious disease spreads by breathing ……… unlike HIV which is a STD.

He totally failed . And Lied about it to cover up his B.S

Fauci has been consistently wrong on everything about this virus, just as he was on the HIV virus.

And Fauci lectured America the other day about hand shaking. Yet when the AIDS virus was raging and thousands more dying compared to China Virus, he never told men to stop having anal sex with other men. Instead he told America AIDS was passed by heterosexual contact.

I’d go a step further & say Fauci doesn’t have anyone’s interest except his own in mind.Bastard was wildly off the mark, his advice has been devastating, first adopting the CCP/WHO narrative it was no biggie (they knew damn well they could’ve done more to stop it up front) then quick pivot to fear mongering: bazillions will die if we don’t destroy the economy & weld folks in their homes if need be till the virus is gone or bill gates forces his injections on you.

Faucci really screwed up the AIDs thing in The City back in 1980. Showed bad judgement. Bit time muck up. Do the research, you’ll see.

Is it any wonder AIDS is off for another 8 or 10 years?
They are just pigging out on a gravy train. It’s a joke.
When you look at the innovation happening with this viris with less money and less people, it only highlights how ridiculous Fauci and Brix are. From my perspective, they can shove their narcisstic self importance where the sun doesn’t shine.

In a press conference yesterday, Rutgers University, using students, came out with a saliva test. My youngest, when attending high school, worked with the Rutgers DNA group. It is amazing what they are doing. She was working with plant DNA and had something named by her. It had to be registered so she has that on her resume. We were so proud of her. Not all high schools offer that. It was a special arrangement with her school and a few other high schools in the area. It was a wonderful experience for her. She is a math and science addict.

My take is he is using Fauci and Brix as a shield to defend the actions he took based on THEIR advice. Hindsight is great but Trump is not a medical person. When he was lead to believe we were in dire straights with such “respected” people, he acted on GOOD INTENTIONS. It seems obvious to me. Also you need a united front moving forward.

I’d bet behind the scenes, he is forcing them to reexamine what is going on and how WRONG they were. You can not undo what was done. You have to move foward and learn from it. If you think Trump wanted to crash our economy, you have mental problems! He has worked very hard to make our economy the envy of the world. You wouldn’t expect these “respected” people, Fauci and Brix to be so corrupt.

Watch his hand gestures when he talks about people’s concerns with the consequences of a shutdown (it’s a shutdown/ it’s not a shutdown). He has contempt for those hysterical people.

Fauci talks like a big shot director who blows smoke in your face while giving himself plenty of wiggle room in terms of personal responsibility. He is not a “winner”. Trump must see that. But, who is he going to put in Dr. F’s place? Nobody knows what is going on, nobody wants to walk point on this.

Additionally, if the call for a scapegoat goes out, Trump can quite rightly point to Fauci.

Ivanka and her husband are Trump’s chief advisors, both are strong leftwing Democrats who never changed their affiliation when Trump became POTUS. And both are advising him exceptionally poorly. It was Kushner who pressured Congress to pass the USMCA, a bill THOUSANDS of pages long that I’m certain Trump never read. It essentially takes away American SOVEREIGNTY and makes us into a union with Canada & Mesico – another big step to One World Government, like the European Union. Some of us Americans KNOW the USMCA is a nightmare of a bill, but Trump is proud of it.

He needs two teams. The Fauci team apprises him of the medical issues involved. Fauci is generally right at that level. That team must deal with the downsides of actions regarding opening up to normal life again too early. Who will die if we open up too early?

He also needs a financials team, even if he is the leader of that team. That team must apprise Trump of the risks of NOT opening the economy to a more normal life. Who will die if the disruption continues?

Trump has the unenviable task of at least conceptually leading the return to normal so as to balance those two issues. And it probably is the leadership of the various states who should make the actual decisions with Trump’s advice as input. (For that mode I hold little hope for New York and California at the very least.)

As I have said before, I have no misgivings about Dr. Fauci and his medical expertise and qualifications. But politics and policy are Trump’s department.

He knows it, Trump knows it, and the sooner the corrupt media comes to that realization and concentrates on the deadly consequences we all face, the better we all will be.

In private industry, if you forecast $20 million & came in with $2 million, you’d be looking for a new job.
I know he can’t but I wish I could hear the words:

They can experience unemployment they’ve forced the rest of the country to try to cope with.

…there is no such thing as “unemployment” for the rich and connected. They have enough wealth to live off of until they die and still leave a lot for their heirs.

Trump is a master showman and director. He knows when and where Fauci can be cut out of the script without an interruption to the narrative or audience engagement. Believe me,there are a lot of far more troubling bureaucrats entrenched in the swamp than Dr. Fauci.

“Fauci has had credibility with the American people for 40 years since the eighties, since the AIDS, HIV outbreak.”
I have to wonder if all of the American people knew that Fauci wants to force all Americans to be vaccinated with Gates’ vaccines, which have caused serious health problems and death for so many who have been forced to take them, and for the purpose of “REDUCING THE WORLD POPULATION”, how long the “celebrity’ of this monster-in-disguise would last.
“Trump knows that the vast majority of people think and acknowledge that Fauci is a source authority on illness,” Rush explained.”.
That a person knows a lot about a subject is no guarantee that they will always be honest about what they know with others; lawyers are a perfect example of this.
Trump needs to get together a group of people with impeccable credentials who can effectively exposed Fauci for the most dangerous charlatan that he is, and then attack him publicly and fire him.
And the sooner this is done, the better.

Fauci and Birx are irrelevant now – no point in debating their globalist connections or firing them. POTUS is now focused on opening America for business. Fauci and Birx have done their damage but now they are done.

IF all that is true about fauci, what he has said, Flip-Flopping,also, that he is in cahoot with other Cahooters
Then eventually, POTUS still has to Take him Down
OR, POTUS will Perpetuate a bad situation, And EVERYBODY will watch as it happens

Better to take the Bull by the Horns, and bleed a little NOW, then hit Broadside at the worst possible time.
YOU CAN”T TRUST fauci, …Come Sept. He can turn and Betray him anyway.
