Donors and special interests fund their elections as those running LIE to voters to get elected. When elected they quietly betray us.
With few exceptions, each party has the same agenda. The GOPe will get you there at a slower speed, whereas DEMS are operating on warp speed to get us there and now the DEMS are in the open about it.
As our demographics shift, with gimmiegrants, chain migration and illegals, and many fake refugees, it will become tougher to stop the DEMS from getting their way. Neither party really wants to stop the invasion.
Look back to Paul Ryan. when he was Speaker and we had a slim majority in both Houses. Ryan did nothing to help stop it. It’s not on his or the GOPe’s best interests to stop it. They have donors and special interests to answer to and not the voters if they are slick enough to hide it from the voters.
You can only EO so much. Travel bans easily used by other Presidents, including Obama, were challenged when Trump used them and had to go up to the Supreme Court, wasting prescious time, to be enforced. This is an all out war without guns being used.

I recall, prior to the drinking age being reduced to 19 and then to 18, I had an acquaintance that had an older brother that did a bangup business in “voter id”. Although, I don’t believe any were used for voting.

President Trump WILL NEVER SIGN IT AND IF HE DOES, HE WON’T GET RE-ELECTED.
I wish the President had the ability to ‘line-item veto’ any Bill on his desk.

We should not need another coronavirus package. Trump is looking for an infrastrusture bill while the interest rate is basically zero.
Corrupt Republicans also know that means they will lose their seats so there is no incentive there. They would not want another Al Franken repeat. Al Franken won by voter fraud.

Agreed. There is no innocent reason for advocating lax voter laws. You must have a valid photo ID for every mundane function in your life, including cashing a check.
There are many jurisdictions where “failure to identify” will land you in jail until the authorities can be certain who they are dealing with.
