Pelosi: A Minimum Guaranteed Income May Now Be ‘Worthy of Our Attention’

Story continues below advertisementAs Congress weighs another relief package amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has many small businesses closed until stay-at-home orders are lifted, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) floated out the possibility of a minimum guaranteed income for workers.
Pelosi said on “MSNBC Live” a minimum guaranteed income is “perhaps” now “worthy” of getting looked at being added into the next funding package.
“[A]s we go forward, let’s see what works,” Pelosi outlined. “What is operational, and what needs other attention? Others have suggested a minimum … guaranteed income for people. Is that worthy of attention now? Perhaps so because there are many more people than just in small business and hired by small business as important as that is to the vitality of our economy and other people who are not in the public sector meeting our needs in so many ways that may need some assistance as well.”
She added, “But again, recognize the realities of it all. What is the execution of it? What is working? And … what are we getting our money’s worth on? I think we have to look at that, too. How is the money being spent? With all the best intentions in the world, but nonetheless, we want the money to go where it needs.”

When we realised that my youngest couldn’t speak {expressive/receptive autism} we moved heaven and earth to see he gained the support he needed, as a result, he blossomed and excelled in everything he put his mind to from sports like soccer, to sailing, archery, golf, tennis as well as his schooling where he was taught to speak by the age of seven by sign language.
When he lost his life in an RTA at twenty, I thought up the following motto as a way of encouraging all others in similar situations.
It went, “Adversity is the Propellent for Human Advancement”. It’s inscribed on his tombstone now.
He lived by that as did I and we both prevailed.
Pelosi is that most hideous of masked posturing snakes because by ensuring the human will to engage in the struggle for survival and ultimate victory through security is dulled into a “Can’t do won’t try” attitude, she strips away the feelings of achievement gained only by those who believe in themselves and succeed.
Her “compassion” is life sapping, the woman is evil personified.

What is an RTA?
I have a grandson that has mild autism… He speaks five languages fluently, is military, and is married to a teacher. He is a very sweet guy.
Autism is not the life-restricting condition that most people think it is.
A lot depends on how dedicated the parents are to finding out the strength and the weaknesses of each individual child….and then building on the strengths.
Before long, the weaknesses are insignificant.
Pukelosi makes my skin crawl….she looks more like a female Voldermort in his snake form than a human. McStain-McCain was in on that Crossfire crapola against Trump with her, the Demoncrats and the RINOs…..I look forward to the day that news airwaves are filled with news of her meeting the same end as him.

An RTA is a road traffic accident ladywarrior. He died on his M/C due to another pulling out in front of him when too close.
I regard all with Autism as very strangely shaped keys each one being unique, and all we have to do is persevere until we find that strange shaped lock into which fits the made to measure key.
When each finds what it is he or she is good at, each really can “move the world” and because of their years of inner doubts or misgivings, they never forget those who showed the required empathetic support , love and kindness. Their returned love to others and us is our dividend.

We were already violating our own independence by giving unfair power to the government, letting them regulate us instead of the other way around. They treat us like they co-own what’s ours in most states, taking part of our income and telling us what we can and cannot do with our property, violating free market by politicians regulating our capitalism, and our livelihood is overall undermined by government and corporations who don’t like to think they can profit from self sustaining people. They tell us, “be afraid of offending your neighbor whom we are regulating too and telling how to think”. Nowadays that this way has followed its course you hear all these people whining about dealing with snowflakes and they act like they don’t where they came from. #SelfGovern #justbeindependent

When all of America is open for business let’s not reward those that are not working, let’s reward those that get out there and start working again. The government should suspend payroll tax for the remainder of 2020. This will benefit both the employer and the employee without wasting more tax payer money. The payroll tax can then be cut in half starting in 2021 through December 2022. This would create a huge benefit to employers and employees without having to borrow/print more money which leads to collapse of economy.

Suspending “payroll tax” (FICA and Medicare contributions) punishes those that have been paying 15.3%, ever since Ronnie-the-Commie-Reagan kicked it up that high.
Ever since Ronnie the Commie, the government stole .. from dollar one … 15.3%, mostly to fund the “greatest generation”, that paid in less than 5%, on average, for their entire working lives.
